lovewins: Sao Tome has pulled out of the WAFCON qualifiers game.
The Super Falcons will automatically move to the next round. What's gonna happen to cost already incurred? Flight tickets etc? Or ae we gonna use the match window to play 2 friendlies, as i'm aware it was to be douber header games? Also nothing yet on NFF or falcons Twitter handle about this |

PDPGuy: Cool Do you think she will thrive in this formation?
————-Demehin—-Ohale——-Plumptre———-
—Alozie—Ucheibe—-Ayinde—Payne—-Imuran-
———————-Kanu—-Ajibade—————— Would love to see Imuran get some minutes. But we need attackers who can also defend so wouldn't start her. Personally I would start Monday, so: ---------------------------------Nnadozie ——Alozie——-Demehin—-Ohale——-Plumptre—— —------------------—Ucheibe—-Ayinde— ———Monday———-Payne—-----Ajibade—————— ---------------------------------Kanu Then any of below as subs: Oshoala, Onumonu, Okoronkwo, Echegini, Oparanozie Oshoala needs to be told to press, Onumonu needs to stop falling down |

lovewins: Another reason why I sincerely have reservations about Okobi. I've said it over and again here, if I were Waldrum, the last time Okobi will play for me was when she went on that live and made a mess of her entire team.
Just hours after the world cup list is released she's reacting like this?
Don't get me wrong, I think she has a right to her reactions and rumours has it that until a few days ago her name was on the list, but a team player will probably wait till the end of the competition, and even at that be circumspect with her speech.
The height of it for me was when she said to the entire world that Randy didn't know anything, like your coach? Whatever your reservations are you should never say that about your boss, much more to the entire world. When exactly did she make the live and criticise Randy? I just cheered her up on Twitter now, and she acknowledged. |

lovewins: Obvious Omissions
Nicole Payne Ngozi Okobi Regina Otu
This list definitely looks like 95% Randy's list. He definitely got his way. Yep you're correct. Rita Chikwelu is another ommission too from WAFCON squad, but no issues, would have dropped her too. Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene own pain me no be small. She even captained 3rd place match at WAFCON. I would have taken her ahead of Francis Ordega. But the rest of the squad is on point! Rofiat Imuran, Oluwatosin Demehin, Deborah Abiodun all from U20 squad. Congrats to them! |

When are we announcing our WorldCup squad and preparations now WorldCup runs between 20 July – 20 August "Each team has to provide to FIFA a preliminary squad of between 35 and 55 players, which will not be published by FIFA. From the preliminary squad, each team has to name a final squad of 23 players (three of whom must be goalkeepers) by 9 July 2023." |

Insightful interview. As stated here Randy recruited Abiodun Deborah to his Team Pittsburgh, so obviously there's no way she's not making the worldcup team |

Schemerkhiz: Predicting the Nigeria SuperFalcons Squad for the 2023 Women's World Cup: Who will make the cut?
By SCHEMERKHIZ Jun 7, 2023, 06:00PM The Women's World Cup is now a little more than a month away, and the Squad for the Nigeria women's national team should be announced within the next three weeks...
As pundits and fans argue over starting spots, coaches are the first to say a World Cup Squad isn't about a starting 11 but a full Squad. Playing potentially more than 3games in a four-week period means rotation is necessary, and teams need depth in case of injuries or suspensions. For Randy, he needs to squeeze the maximum amount of depth from 23 spots on the Squad for his preferred 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 formations.
We'll find out what Randy Waldrum has decided before the SuperFalcons players start departing for their pre-World Cup camp this June.. I don't see Francisca Ordega making that list. Deborah Abiodun would even be picked ahead of her. Gift Monday would make the squad too i think, definitely infact. A younger keeper would likely be picked ahead of Tochukwu Oluehi |

Brogrammer: Hi Devs, so I finally had time to explore NextJs 13 app directory(server components) and I created an advance multistep form with it, typescript, Tailwindcss, framer-motion, radix-ui and zod(for form validation).
I was amazed to how easy I was able to grab the new shiny stuff in the server components.
(Live link): steppers-form[.]vercel[.]app/
(GitHub Repo): https://github.com/FesoQue/Advance-Multi-Step-Form
It's open source and you guys can contribute/fork it Nice one. I just finished learning Next.js now onto building projects. Saw this project previously on FrontendMentor. Will build it too soon, along with 2 others i bookmarked. |
