Please ask yourself why there are plenty replacement keys for 2011 sonata that don't have transponders. Take a minute to browse Amazon and Ebay. Instead of insisting blindly why don't you do a little research. Like they say Google is your friend.

Well I don't know about Kazeem and modification but i bought the key from US, one of the key was lost in transit and had to replace it when it came to Nigeria and like I said before it was pretty simple. Some of the comments on the link above shows duplicating hyundai keys is not as complex as you people are making it to be.

So OP like I said before get your key from ebay or amazon. I can give you the phone no. of the guy that helped me cut it in ladipo if you need it.

the half baked one, s/he needs to buy a blank key that wil be cut copying his key, if you say buy from amazon without explaining that the key as to be a blank and should have asked if his/her has immobiliser and central locking are in one module, some cars have car key and immobiler as one unit and central locking fob as stand alone

definately the key needs programming for it to be able to start the car

I drive a 2011 sonata. yes i bought the blank key off amazon and i had it copied / cut in ladipo and YES it started the car once. I am not a mechanic and don't know about immobilizer but the guy that cut the key told me the key will not need anyform of programming and it didn't. So yes are the one who is CLUELESS about this.

OP i still advise you to check out amazon. its about 10 dollars. the truth is that the key is not even in our market so the expert that will do it for you will still import it at a premium, so do the importing yourself if you can and get it cut.

You also add the remote.

To avoid being ripped off just buy it from Amazon or Ebay take it to Ladipo and have it cut. Does not need programming.

What works for you family, will definitely not work for another. My wife works and also gets some millions of Naira as rental income from the properties left by her parents in Lagos. I am at loss at how else to prove my commitment /connection with Nigeria. I have a good corporate job, married to a woman who has same, children, property in Nigeria yet my wife and kids were refused visa.

I first applied 2011 with my family but was denied apparently because i had pending migrant petition in my name. I then tried again in 2014 alone and was given. I travelled for 2wks.My wife and children then applied again this year but were denied despite coming along with a copy of my visa since we would travel as a group. they asked if we have travelled together before, which she answered negative.I understand i seem like flight risk because I have immediate familylossn(mum and sis) living in US but they didn't get there illegally.I would prefer to travel to US for holidays/tourism because it affords opportunity to also see friends and family. I am making arrangement to take them to Dubai which i consider as a not too wise use of holiday money, It means I now have to also pay for my mother to also come to Nigeria to see grand kids. I could have killed many birds with one stone. Hopefully travelling with my family will help our attempt next time.

So can I get any advise on how to prove my ties with Nigeria that i have not already showlossn. On the last refusal they went with all documents (office,bank,property), non of which was looked at. am really at a loss

Google walking speed is quite fast. I think whites generally walk faster. I struggled to meet up with bus times using google timing in london. Secondly, to walk at the same fast pace for soo long is impossible. You need to make out enough time for resting your legs.

that said, how come nobody had any record or news of his journey until he got to to Bida. There are so many unanswered questions about his journey.
