I am in the same mess overscratched card now. i ended up insulting the customer service bc after wasting my time asking me for all sorsts of information, she end up telling me to report the matter in glo office without telling why she could not do anything. i felt like strangling her through the phone.

Any MIL that would not realise that she is in another man's house and therefore has to respect him shouldn't be around anyway. Couple's quarrel, thats like normal. But wait, i think we(including urself) are just assuming you love her. Is it possible you enjoy having se.x with her but don't really enjoy having a conversation with her. Before i married i spent nothing less than an hour everyday on the phone with her, could be up to 2hours. Now that we are married,not that much(bc offcourse we see everyday) but 2, 3 minutes call every now and then. Trust me it really strengthens the relationship. We forget that its not only between man and woman that you have weaker persons. A man will not go looking for fight against someone he is sure is stronger and will surely beat him up. Why can't some women adopt that strategy? Am sure there are other ways a woman can make her point without being confrontational. We forget some words are more dangerous than fists.

Am not supporting men beating women, but am saying let the woman help in not making it happen. It is inappropriate to tell a man " there is noting you can do" under any circumstance. The man will go ahead to prove to you that there is something he can do. I have seen where a man killed someone because of that statement. So everybody should be careful how they use their tongue. Its not everyone that has self restraint.

Don't  make this your matter. Like someone adviced, she has to tell the mum. There is no easy way out of this, but if anybody has to be involved and advice her, it has to be her mum. Mums are the same, will help her (i.e after raking and crying for a few days), they are also good at hiding stuff from the Dad, so she  rest assured her Dad would not have to know. So if you have to advise her, let her tell the mum. Meanwhile mum has a few options. like (1) make sure she stays in school for the last few months of her pregnancy, so nobody knows. Give birth to baby and give away. (2)Gently bring the daddy and get the boys family involved. (3) Look for a good hospital have abortion . Well its not even in your place to advise,so no need for all these. Just make her tell her mum and go back to school. And also make sure you learn a lesson from this, because you are certainly going to have temptations.

I think you guys are missing one important aspect, cost and convenience. Doing the wedding in Aba means having two ceremonies while doing it in Onitsha means only one ceremony as the wedding reception will also be the traditional wedding. I like the arrangement because as much as we may want to say wedding day is a very special day, its also good to consider the cost and life after. Your mum is only been selfish(which is human) because she wants it in Aba so all her friends will be in attendance and she can show off. You have to try to make her understand the cost and convenience part and also tell her this would afford her opportunity to know who is really her friend as those are the ones who would be prepared to make the trip to Onitsha. And moreover its only for one day, so even if your wife's family wins this, you are going to be winning from there because you are taking her away. She is going to be staying in Aba whenever you guys are around.etc. Her parents have to take excuse when they want to come see their own daughter! Oh, i love Africa.

Do you have anger management issues. I don't see anything in his statement to make you react like this. He asked for your present weight which is good because what you are asking for is advice and we need enough info to give an informed advice.
Its good this idea of weight loss is coming from you and not him. Yes, because you feel you are not pretty with your weight, which may not be right. Ppl usually stay thing for various reason, e.g schooling. In school there is so much to do( lectures, reading,outing etc), that u are likely to skip meals without knowing and even when u eat, ur using up so much calories by the activities you are involved in. It follows that when u stop what was making you thing, you will gain some weight which is not going to mean u’ve become overweight. I’ve gained 7kg since I left school, but am still very happy with the way I look. I look better now because am no longer skinny. So make sure u really need to loose weight. Am saying all this because 61kg looks pretty light weight to me unless you are quite short. so pls doin't give urself ulcer. Maybe ur present weight is actually ur real weight.

A situation where Barcelona will be beat fellow title contenders like Seville, 5-0  makes it crap and unintresting to me. And thats what has been happening this season. You hear of a Seville vs Barcelona match and expect competion, 30mins into the match its already 3-0 in favour of Barcelona. Its not only that they loose is my annoyance but the way they loose. I prefer EPL any day, because u can never be so sure of whats gonna happen.
Last season the diff between second place real madrid and third place valencia was it not ridiculous. There is no competition. I agree that the only match is spain in between real madrid and barcelona and thats why they call it el classico. In the EPL you get el classicos almost every weekend. And thats what competition is all about. I agree that the other teams in spain are good but the way they perform against real madrid and barcelona makes me feel there is no competition there.

This is unfortunate situation.
Why would UNN continue to suffer this kind of incidents. Electrical engineering department was without laboratory throughout my stay in school, and a few years after a new lab is built its burnt down again. We surely don't want good things for ourself. Makes one wonder the kind of elements that are been nuturerd in school.
