gabbytabby: Dont mind Ekoboy he is a co owner him join build the house. Tenant like this need to speak up so that the Landlord knows he/she has a nuisance on their hands and let him take his generator under the bridge so that he can make as much noise as he likes. Now that I know that commonsense is not so common, I ask this particular question. Even people that have come to 9ja with little children dont say because them get petrol money nobody else go sleep they find ways to live and let live and then you get a numbskull who becomes the neighbourhood nuisance and a terror to other tenants who have to suffer hence they dont want to live with someone who would talk some sense into them. Then they wonder why they get an eviction notice. If you cant live like a reasonable human being and choose to behave like an animal then, you get treated like an animal.

Chartey: True but sometimes that gen thing annoyed me as a co-tenant. I got only about 3hrs of sleep and i had very hectic days. It was an estate kinda so there was no landlord to put tenants in check.

raqueal: No, you need to understand that a tenant is never a owner. At all times, a tenant remains an occupier. Period! read your laws.

Now, you don't constitute nuisance because you can afford it. Tenants pay for noise and pollution? This is the first of it that i have heard. What about the other occupiers welfare? If you know that you want to leave your gen all night and constitute nuisance, then maybe you should consider building your own house too!

raqueal: I am not judging you but this scene plays out in my grandfathers house every time. Tenants mounting dstv dishes too close to the roof top, switching of generators around 1. am or leaving it all night. These are avoidable situations but everyone is so selfish. Some deliberately create nuisance do and you just can't empathize with them in situations like this

You know there is no right answer here. Getting details of the affair is only going to make it hurt more.
You have to find a way of understanding that thats how men are and you feeling hurt is only because the society has made you see his behaviour as bad,thats why you are feeling cheated. Am sure if this was only fifty years ago, this conversation wouldn't have happened. You would see nothing unnatural about his behaviour. Unfortunately thats the make of men. No matter how the society wants to change men, they cannot really change. All that will happen is men either making concious effort to behave or making concious effort to hide their misbehaviour. I'll advise all women here that their husband have remained faithfully to appreciate them a little bit more. I tell you, it is with some effort.

Marriages can become hell holes if issues like these are not handled properly and you may not be able to do it alone. This man purposely chose to disrespect your marriage and if care is not taken, it might happen again.

You have a family, USE THEM to your advantage. Yes, I know that whole "MRS" badge is important to a lot of Nigerians but reality is we are all aware of what goes on behind closed doors and most times it is ugly so there is no need to be ashamed of revealing the truth especially when you did not cause the problem. If your husband had cared so much about the image of his marriage, he would not have defiled the marriage in the way that he did.

Most men should get their priority straight and stop living a double life, it's disgusting and irritating, I had to run some serious blood work on myself to have a piece of mind that I'm not infected with some Poo.t.y bug!
