cyril83: Abeg park well make I see road, none of your damn answers suit any of my/our questions, instead of providing reasonable answer, you copied jagons and pasted it.

Even your ogbeni didnot even say anything related to all these questions: How sustainable is this effort/project? the problem with political office holders is that they like to involve themselves in elephant projects that wont stand the test of time. I cant help but imagine the level of corruption that would have gone into this project. How many state owned public schools do we have in Osun State and how many students (SSS) do we have in all schools. I guess over (7,000 to 15,000) on the average, will the State be ready to provide these students with tablets, have we considered the cost of procuring these tablets (for all SSS students) will not only furnish each State school with e-libraries, but will also provide good books for their consumption.
Most of these students cannot handle a computer talkless of the ability to handle and maintain tablets. I think it would have made better sense if all schools have very good e-learning libraries, tastefully furnished with computers (desk tops). This will ensure a win-win situation for all students and not a select few.

2. will the State be ready to continually provide tablets for subsequent students who move from the JSS arm to the SSS arm, and if so at whose expense?
Were you at the event and did you ask him that question?

FAQ is universally designed to answer questions so it's up to you to read and educate yourself or remain in this thread with your idiocy and clownish acts.

I can't believe these losers have so much to say about these kids when in fact they should be worried about their own low grade education and lack of any ability to read, comprehend and articulate thoughtful views.

What a sad waste..

bory09: Why i will still emphasize on the fact that this opon imo is useless is the problem of tranferring or maintenance.
Opón Ìmò usage is to be recycled among students that graduate into the Senior Secondary Schools. As such, upon graduation from Senior Secondary School, students are to collect their school leaving certificate in exchange for their Opón Ìmò. - See more at: http://www.oponimo.com/faq.php#sthash.b439u0NH.dpuf
The Support System is quite extensive

First Level Support at School Level Teacher ( Opón Ìmò Ambassador).

Second Level Support 9 Support Centers; one at each Federal Constituency.

Third Level Support Factory Support in Osogbo. - See more at: http://www.oponimo.com/faq.php#sthash.b439u0NH.dpuf

Why do you people comment without any kind of knowledge about the subject matter?

Instead of reading and learning like these kids, you people prefer to stay lazy and ignorant.

dgreat001: [s]They are all lazy, incompetent and disabled so I see them waiting for another 30 years...... Bambiala people..

lmoa..

Eko ile and Ba7man plz listen.....you both are talking like illiterate, I aint saying the concept is not laudable, ppl will sure comply with the payment....BUT, why do we pay TAX, its our own quota to make governance more productive
So the government shd also fulfil their own quota by getting us FREE infrastructure like good roads, water etc

Am sure you aint a tax payer, that's why you reason like that...Please never allow any govt to fool YOU[/s]
Question.

The tax payers money is currently building the Metro Rail so do you think if should be free to ride on the metro rail because it was built with tax money?

Besides, I entertain myself with you people on NL because you are very irrelevant and the only relevant people here are Lagosians ans so far, they are happy with their bridge and they don't mind paying even more for better infrastructures..

I no know book:
[s]
You are a freaking retard. When has toll booths become a symbol of development that one now has to celebrate it? Government built something that will be used to tax you and which will never add any value to your life, and here you are celebrating. People don't celebrate over tolls, my friend. Please, try leaving your comfort zone once in a while so that you learn how things are done in other places. Building of tolls is not an accomplishment![/s]
Come up with a better script and quit repeating the same thoughtless nonsense by the other dullards in this threads...

Your name is a gross refection of your idiocy...

Broken TV: eko ilee you are beating round the bush i ask you simple question. If lagos is being run by pdp government and they build the bridge, put sentiment aside what will be your comments. Are you going to support it or are you going to oppose it i need your answer.
I answered your question. I said toll or no toll, I don't care as long as we get meaningful infrastructures.

...but they have to build it first which they don't know how to do because of corruption, incompetence and lack of vision.

I'm guessing the next few years will give you lot a lot of head ache as SW will not stop moving forward.
They are not used to progress because they are yet to experience any progress. Abi when was the last time we read about any progress from their village?

The only thing they progress in is sadness, hate, bitterness and bad bele.
PoliticsRe: Opon Imo Launched By Osun Today by ekoilee: 4:27pm On Jun 03, 2013
Ikengawo: You can search the event on your Ipon Enugu and see that it was in Ilesa, not Osogbo.
The found a huge hall in Ilesa, put a crane in there, brought their paid media, brought their 'big name supporters' (tinubu lol), and made 4 hours of noise for Ipon Nassarawa.

This is Obama announcing that his killed Osama Bin Laden.

crane free development.
Olodo..

1. Obama did not declare the Iraq war, that was a news conference with reporters and there was no need for any crane. Can you even tell what was used or not used from that video?

2. The video you posted was not shot in a hall with hundreds of people

I seriously hope you are not the smartest in your village..

Why I'm I even entertaining this dullard and his crane lunacy?..
PoliticsRe: Opon Imo Launched By Osun Today by ekoilee: 4:23pm On Jun 03, 2013
bory09: this opon imo in my own understanding is not different from what phone is doing in the case of ict. This opon imo is just like advance calculator which is meant to substitute text book and does not browse for that matter so how does it introduce ICT knowledge to the student assuming it was laptop and desktop then we will talk about the advantage of ICT it will bring. To back my point that this opon imo is a advance calculator it can't be updated its just programme like that you can't edit anything. This disadvantage is to the advantage of text book and don't forget text book is transferable and cost less to maintain.
Opon Imo is not a calculator, it's a notebook computer and this is basic exposure to computing. Who knows how many students are going to end up developing serious interest in computers and computer technology just by having 24/7 access to this device.

The notebook is transferable because it's linked to your school diploma, you exchange your school certificate with the notebook.

Again, read the FAQ link posted to further educate yourself about this program.
PoliticsRe: Opon Imo Launched By Osun Today by ekoilee: 4:14pm On Jun 03, 2013
Ikengawo: there was a camera on a crane. Bush didn't used a camera on a crane to announce the Iraq war,
Ode, Iraq war was announced in the Oval Office so no need for a crane, but the event in Osogbo was in a huge hall and you need a crane to cover the whole hall.

Damn!!!! Must you ignorant and unexposed villagers open your odious mouths...

Geezzzzz...

My sisterly advice is that you should be uncompromising on issues of transparency and accountability in the sector,” she stressed.

Dr Okonjo-Iweala, who is also the Nigerian Coordinating Minister of the Economy made the recommendation during a lecture on: “What Africa should do to claim the 21’st Century,” at the 2nd John A. Kufuor Global Development Series 2013 in Accra on Friday.

Ikengawo: That speech was good to you? It's ok to support tablets without supporting anything that speaks at the tablet ceremony. These speeches have been droning and excessive. Agb was the best speaker so far, but went on for way too long and most of the speech was spent announcing the rich people in the audience (as is typical in nigerian speaking).

I find it hard to believe that there isn't a single good speaker in Nigeria. Not one. I can watch on Obama speech like a move. Even George Bush who was considered a bad speaker wasn't as bad as the best nigerian speaker. yelling into the mic, listing rich people, no organization, no structure, no ideals, just boasting.
Ignored...
