Meh! NYSC-NIM is nt totaly useless. Though most employers prefer ICAN, ACCA, MBA....etc, dat does nt mean they don't regard it at all. I did it while serving & pass it. Not realy bcz of employmnt purpose but 2 add 2 knwledge & a teaste of it too. While aplyin 4 job online there ar most places u ar askd 4 a profesional qualificatn. Wen u open d optn, u c NIM most times. If u pas very well( Fin Mgt included), u maybe givn an award on INDUCTION day & sm companies directors present their may ofer u job. It hapend durin d last inductn at Lag(4th May) which d nxt is on 31st May.
Just do it nt wit intntn of job only bt d experience nd knwledge too

Glo is not good at public relations. Majority of the time that customers experience difficulties with their service, there has never been anyone on hand to offer any explanation or any apology.

Press releases like this, and on a seemingly free platform like this would have even assuage flamed nerves. I spend close to 8000naira monthly on my BB, Ipad and MoDem.

Another thing I would like the telecom operators to take note of is their mode of promotion. I don't think this attitude of winners take it all would take you anywhere; where a single individual wins millions or cars. While not spread this millions over a large number of people in a token? I think that's more beneficial. Before Coca Cola bought over GoldSpot, Limca and PaliSoda, you will always win something during their promo ... no matter how small it is; biro, facecap, bottle openner, exercise books ... little-little things that are useful in one way or the other. There is virtually no house one will visit that you will not come across Limca or GoldSpot sourvenir. But this day, it is car, 1million naira and things like that. Thats's not how to equally compensate your loyal customers, You aren't plowing back into the society that way. Imagine 1 million naira gift for how many number of people.

And if they can't do that, let us please simply have the worth of our money in service provision.

The Defender: ABUJA—Defence Minister, Dr. Bello Mohammed, said, yesterday, that the Armed Forces were in a state of combat readiness needed to surmount all issues of insecurity, internal or external. He said government has ensured this by funding the requirements of the different arms of the military.Speaking at the ministerial platform organised by the Ministry of Information and Communication in Abuja, the minister noted that the state of combat readiness was achieved following the repairs and upgrading of a number of Armoured Fighting Vehicles and Armoured Personnel Carriers for the Nigerian Army.

He also said the acquisitions of the warship, NNS Thunder, and a number of Shaldag Fast Patrol Boats for the Navy, in addition to existing weaponry for the two services, had made them combat-ready.

The minister said the F7Ni Supersonic Jet fighter had been acquired by the Nigeria Air Force, even as M-35-Helicopters had been retrofitted, while Super Puma Helicopters and Alpha-jets had undergone upgrading and re-inducted.

Mohammed said: “We (Ministry of Defence) have also refurbished some of our C-130H Aircraft in the NAF inventory.”

He noted that the ministry placed great emphasis on the welfare of personnel of the armed forces.
