Business / Delay In Clearing My Cars At Lagos Port...am I Being Scammed? by eksammy(m): 1:56pm On Feb 03, 2016
Hello N'landers,

Please I need you guys to advise me cos Im having a feeling that some things may not be right.

My container with 3 cars (2009 Nissan, 2007 Xterra & 2004 Sienna) landed in Lagos on the 15th of January and till today Feb. 3, the Agent has not cleared it after i gave him 600k, 500k and 350k respectively for the 3 cars even a week before they landed.

Week 1: He claims the container was inspected by customs on the 18th (3 days after it birthed) and they asked for extra 70k for some clothes in the container...and this dragged.

Week 2: He said there were changes in policies causing the delay and the goods has entered 'ALERT' whatever that means. He now said later in the week that he has spent 158k and still trying to get full amount for 'dummorage'.

Week 3: Today is wednesday and he has not picked his calls this week.

Please can someone explain to me how this clearing thing works?

How long is it supposed to take to clear a container?

Are there recent legal changes affecting clearing at Lagos Port of maerskline?

What does it mean for goods to 'enter alert'?

How long does it take for containers to start accumulating Dummorhage and what is the daily rate?

Someone please help and advise me on what you think i should do.

Politics / Re: Chibok Girls: "President Buhari Was Angry And Cold" - Enough Is Enough Nigeria by eksammy(m): 8:53pm On Jan 14, 2016
What are you feeling like?

Official spokesman for Aso Rock to explain to us the behind the scenes? So you were there to know the prezidents itinerary and cause of his bad mood swings?

Or a pay-per-post propagandist whose job is to launder Baba Buubuu's image?

There will be another dinner in Aso Rock soon...#changeagentsworkinghardfortheirmoney

Adminisher:

This is an idiotic post. You destroyed everything good in it by mentioning GEJ. The BBOG ran into an angry General. The man was pissed off with two institutions today; the Press and the Senate . It did not concern the BBOG who also did their own annoying thing; demonstrate throughout Abuja and then paid an unexpected, impromptu visit to the President. The source of Buhari's anger was the noise about stealing if submitted budget.

The two sides have a lot to learn. Buhari has to remember that being President is the most annoying office on earth and yet you have to be contained. Even ghetto hood you are found earns you negative rewards from your people at yikes. The BBOG should be more circumspect in behaviour and stop playing your the gallery

A group of youth chanting 'NO OKEZIE NO ABIA' are currently holding the city of Aba Hostage right now and they are heading to Umuahia.

The are forcefully closing shops and businesses as they express solidarity to the embattled Governor who was sacked by appeal court on the 31st of December.

Security agencies should act quieckly and ensure this doesnt degenerate to riots

Politics / Nigeria Today: Promise Of Change Or Change Of Promise? by eksammy(m): 1:47pm On Nov 25, 2015
My people please can someone tell me what is happening to our apostles of good governance during the last administration?

why is everybody quiet about the fuel scarcity that has lingered for almost one month now. Our APC fans whom are you blaming now GEJ or Dieziani?

what of our 'bring back our girls' crusaders? plz why have they gone cold or are the girls back?

A bag of rice is now 11,500 I guess it will get to about 14k before Xmas. Last year we bought a full bag for between 7,500 to 8000 at Christmas.

You guys are in charge now for 6 months yet all we get are excuses and blame game.

what are we even hearing about TSA? corruption among the saints?

You no longer criticise our soldiers. You have stopped calling them names.

Our president has approved the release of 413bn to pay for subsidy. I thought they said subsidy amount was over bloated during the time of GEJ.

How much job has been created since May 2015? How many unemployed Nigerians have started receiving the 5000 stipend?

Why are my people not talking again? Why are we not asking questions? Has promise of Change become Change of promise? We are just watching.

Please if you remember anything that has gone worse in the past 6-months you may add to the list here abeg....hopefully they will see and CHANGE!

Oh thank you Vickzie.......for taking out time to help.

I have asked the builder if he can get me a cost estimate for materials at the different stages as in the labour cost shown.

He said I will pay for it. Shouldn't a material cost come withe plan?
Properties / Re: Cost Of Building A 4-bedroom Flat Bungalow (pics) by eksammy(m): 1:43pm On Mar 21, 2015
Ok thanks but what is that 'out set to DPC" and "DPC to levelling"?

I thought DPC is that level of concrete above window and doors. And after that 2 more blocks above.

Which one again is levelling?
Properties / Cost Of Building A 4-bedroom Flat Bungalow (pics) by eksammy(m): 1:24pm On Mar 21, 2015
I want to start building my house in Aba by April and the Architect has just submitted this quotation of N850,000 for labour. I'm a junior bank worker..so no much time to supervise.

I am looking for another builder to give me another qoute so I can compare.

Meanwhile I need your opinion my people. Is this quote below fair enough?

I want to be buying the materials myself - is this a smart move?

Any other advise on pros and cons or pitfalls to look out for as I embark on this journey will be greatly appreciated.

God's sent:

@all somany revelations have been coming my way since but i swallow some cos I do not want to turn this thread into a prophecy/revelation thread, but a thread that reveals the evil manipulations that is behind our problems, and how we can overcome, which is what God is using servant vic to do.

@eksammy, what I posted yester was a revelation, but i do not want to be saying things directly to people, cos this thread is a prayer and faith-building thread, where we talk about how we can overcome our problem by the power of God in deliverance

the revelation has been coming since 3 days before I posted, I wanted to ask you to ask your wife if she knows what Ogwu-alor is and she should be praying, cos after deliverance she need to help her self by praying by destroying any ungodly medicine, food eating both spiritually or physically that is in her stomach. if not that the tempter devil wanted to discourage her by making her not to be focus when she went for CCT deliverance, she would have vomit so many substances in that deliverance ground, but it is not late since you people still have the blessed water and anointing oil.

@God's Sent...By all means, do not swallow or hold back the revelations. you never know whose deliverance depends on it.

Do not mind what people may say. its true that this is a 'prayer and faith - building thread' but you see, God is not a methodist. He works in diverse ways to deliver his people.

On the ogwu-alor...i have inboxed you!

Good evening Great Conquerors! i have been reading to catch up on what happened at yesterday's service. How i wish i stay in lagos......@everyone that updated here, I say a big thank you and God bless.

@Enm...thank you for sharing Psalm 37. That chapter is loaded.
@Goldenbaby...Did you say you are coming to the East? We're waiting...smiles
@Visitor30...I'm thanking God for Jecu's dream, i tap into that annointing too IJN!
@Freechild....you told the story in such a way that i felt as if i was there. Nollywood script-writing things....
@God's sent....Good Jeez, so so true....wify was introduced by her mom to this native herbal stuff this year and we noticed almost all this complications you described here. Her menses stopped for 3 months in June and it so looked like she was preggy and then a scan said its ovarian cyst. the menses delay every month and when its coming...its almost dark brown chocolate! Now im 'putting 2 + 2 together' to understand what has been going on....

Oh wait lemme get home today, i will.....Oh sorry im at home....wait let her wake up today.....i will make sure that....

@Goldenbaby and @Visitor30...you guys are life savers!

You may never know who God is delivering through these words.

This God whom you are secretly working for will bless you openly!
Religion / Re: How To Conquer Barrenness/ Poverty Spiritually & Physically by eksammy(m): 1:45am On Dec 04, 2013
@Goldenbaby....i read that your encounter with my mouth wide open! may God save his people in Jesus name. Thank God you were victorious.

We need not be afraid in interceding for others here just that we need to straighten our lives out by living a holy and righteous life so as not to create loopholes for the demons to lash out at us. once we sign up here, its a war and we need to 'gird up our loins' and live a careful life.

we also need wisdom in our 'choice of words' during intercessory prayers. i noticed that this thing has principles which must be followed e.g i remember Servant Vic did not want to conduct deliverance on that girl last thursday because of the absense of her mother because she has some RIGHTS in her daughter's life.

@All lets be strong and do exploits.....Nigeria will soon hear about us! Say no to FEAR!

Please what is the meaning of MIA? some of these abbreviations are a bit above our head......break them down! ive learnt TTC, BFP, DW, DH....but not MIA

Can someone advise on the best times/period to get Servant Vic's attention on phone. I have been trying to reach him since sunday but no luck yet....could it be that i call too early or too late?
Religion / Re: How To Conquer Barrenness/ Poverty Spiritually & Physically by eksammy(m): 2:55pm On Dec 03, 2013
@God's Sent....not even your DH can quench this fire! Any one that tries it is on 'Mission Impossible'. All the lives you have blessed will embark on 2 days fasting and he will change his mind...don't forget 'even the heart of a king is in the hands of the Lord' and He 'turneth it as he wills'! You are a light set on a hill....no hiding place for you!

@Goldenbaby...thanks for those bible passages! Tha last fight is always tough...thank God victory is assured!

Glorious Conquerors....Peace to everyone!

Its another dream from my DW and one from me (the first time I'm dreaming in recent years).

After her fight in the dream 2 abi 3 days ago, we agreed to be waking up to pray 12am every night. But last nite I over slept...she said she woke me up around 2am but that I told her that I was tired!

We woke up this morning and each of us had a dream and the more disturbing thing is that we dreamt about the same thing - pepper soup!

She did not remember all the details but the summary is that she was offered peppersoup by a group of people (obviously pple she knows) and she refused but after heavy persuation she just ate a piece of meat from the plate!

Mine was that I saw myself in a meeting obviously in my village cos I saw men I knew. Yam and peppersoup was prepared and 2 people carried it saying they will eat before others, I went after them picked quarrel and they brought back the food for sharing...I was the 1st person they dished the food for but I refused to eat....

These dreams doesn't make sense to me but they don't sound good to me either!

I have subscribed to the programme 'FIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILY'. I cannot travel again from the East here...but I have started fasting and I will be with them in spirit. If anyone has scriptures and verses for that programme, let him share so we can be guided!

@Goldenbaby...Amen ooooo

I know God has not finished with us! this dream is an eye opener on the direction of the battle.

To everyone that tarried in prayer for us last nite....it was not in vain. God is answering the prayers speedily.

Indeed, there is God....and to Him alone be all the Glory and adoration!
Religion / Re: How To Conquer Barrenness/ Poverty Spiritually & Physically by eksammy(m): 2:15pm On Dec 01, 2013
......(humming..i'm not singing yet) To you ooo be all the Glory, Tooo you Jesus be all the honour, To you lord be all the Glory and Adoration forever more!

@God sent...yes ooo I hear the sound of RAIN....abundance, joy...etc!

@Visitor30...Broos its well. The end of the story is that we won the battle, all these ones happening mid way are just minor events.

I dont know where to start, its as if my life is a 'home video'.....things are happening so fast! The battle i was gearing up to fight seem to have been taken over by the Almighty himself....(how do i start this testimony?)

I was about going to bed last nite around 10.40pm when i saw God sent's post calling the house to intercede for me and my DW. I decided to hang on and lead. Exactly 12am i woke wify but she said she was tired and opted that i hold her hand and pray. One particular prayer point aroused her and she joined me and that was:

'O Lord my creator, take me to the heavenly theater and let the great heavenly doctors and Physicians check me and remove any thing that demons have used to cover our fruitfulness'. After the prayers we went to bed.

She woke me up this morning that she had 2 dreams. I will just narrate one now in which she said I gave instructions that she should lock our doors to avoid Evil people from entering. A man came knocking and she refused and we was moving around trying all the doors but they were all locked.

later a boy from inside our house went and unlocked the back door. my wife slapped him but it was too late to stop a woman that said she is the 'marine witch' from entering. my wife ran upstairs and she followed and then my wife attacked her first and my wife over powered her and dragged her down and locked the gate but the woman was still fighting her from outside.

My wife noted at this point that during the bitter fight, none of the family members in the house tried to help her. even when she threw her out and was calling her sister outside to quickly come in so she can lock the gate. her sister did not budge so she locked her out.

Back to the fight...as the woman was fighting from outside, i now came in and started telling/pleading with my wife to leave her she she is already outside but my wife was too busy fighting. At this point, I noticed that the woman was not fighting or retaliating to my wife's attack but was busy 'invoking and trying to remove' something from her stomach. At this point i attacked my wife, forcibly dragging her away into the house.

Next day, the doctor (pastor Adeboye) confirmed to her that her PT came out positive (still in the dreeeeeam oooo)!

My wife was like water this morning. i was dumbfounded and i called Servant Vic but he switched off...that was when i noticed it was not yet 5.30am. we knelt down in thanksgiving to this good Lord. Physically my DW is complaining of body pains and cramps. if not that today is sunday...brb

my brother there is no body that goes there CCT and come back same, infact there is no demon that will follow any one to that place and survive it.

except there is something somewhere that is their property that the person is still having with him/her.

i will explain something more tomorrow.
pardone me all am overbusy since morning but i did not want to bore you people with another fasting lest uteh run away from this fasting thread

....(on the bolded) whoever said you are not a prophetess! But it is well, my faith is strong. as strong as ever.

Yes Ooo...thank you for interceding and raising men to stand in the gap for me and my wife. Every advise is/will be highly appreciated. I am learning to scour and flip through the earlier pages of this thread to pick up 'prayer points and bible quotations to prepare myself. I know He will not put more on us than we can bear.

Health / Dec. 1 - World AIDS Day: What Was Your Experience When You Did HIV Test? by eksammy(m): 9:46pm On Nov 30, 2013
December 1 is World Aid’s Day. It is an opportunity to disseminate information about the status of the pandemic and to encourage progress in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care around the world, particularly in high prevalence countries.
Facts about HIV/AIDS

 HIV stands for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a virus which attacks the body's immune system — the body's defence against diseases.
 HIV can be passed on through infected bodily fluids, most commonly via sex without a condom or by sharing infected needles, syringes or other injecting drug equipment.
 There are about 3.5 million people living with HIV in Nigeria and 40% of those people are unaware they have the virus.
 Globally an estimated 34 million people have HIV.
 More than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007 have died from the virus, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history.
 2.1 million adolescents were living with HIV in 2012
 Nigeria bears the second largest burden of HIV in the world after South Africa.

Do you know your HIV status

The last time I did the test, i almost died of fear before the result came out. There was nothing i did not think!

@Eksammy, welcome to the thread of wonderful and glorious conquerors, you will soon testify in Jesus name. My Dear whether you know someone or not, is good to do good.. I derive joy in helping others.. Greet your sweet DW for me.

Good morning glorious Conquerors in Christ. We arrived home safely in the East safely last nite (10pm) after the Deliverance on thursday. To God be the Glory.

I want to thank everyone here especially for giving us new members the warm reception and a sense of belonging. This is my 2nd post here after skeptically following this thread for months. My first post was on thurrsday morning just before we went for the Deliverance service.

I need to bluntly state why I'm here so that when mercy comes....I will also share my testimony. It will soon be our 4th anniversary and we're still TTC (God help me with the slangs I see here). She has had a few miscarriages. There's this terrible stomach ache that starts as soon as she misses her peiod or tests pos+ and stops only when it washes out.

Doctors have variously said its...tube block, fibroid, ovarian cyst, stress etc (I can't remember all).

When I read stuff about dreams here, I correlated it with wify's case cos she usually has dreams of me tryin to make love to her during her ovulation....dreams of picking rotten fruits and udara (agbalumo) etc.

Immediately we booked to come see servant Vic all the dreaMs stopped. The night b4 we left the East...she cried till morning due to stomach ache and we considered calling off the journey. When we got to sango ota on wednesday nite...she was writhing in pains all nite, so much so that she suggested we forget the deliverance and enter lagos to 'save her life' that morning.

That was why we left the hotel with Visitor30 same time dat morning but we arrived late at the service (Now I know the devil was fighting to stop us).

I thank God for the deliverance. We felt God's touch and my eyes has been opened to so much. Sadly (or should I say fortunately), the demons are taking the battle to another level. The kind of anger she has manifested in the past 2 days is something else, every little thing pisses her off and gets her cursing...since after reading posts from Godssent and Goldenbaby on anger, I have piped low! All my effort to get her to read this life changing thread has been futile even though she's a nairalander.

I understand what is happening but sadly I am not that strong spiritually. I know I have plenty issues of my own. I just pray that God will empower me this once like Sampson to fight the enemy...

Aargh I can't type again....let me go to God! My story must change....sorry has changed in this 11th hour
