afam4eva: Adsense abandoned him and not the other way around. Why would they do that? They don't want money? In any case, there are other advertising partners he can find. He is the one providing the valuable service and with the "power", not them. |
Seun: We're not abandoning Adsense completely, but for now we want to run with this new approach and see where it takes us.OK. I would suggest time-sharing between Adsense and your new approach. E.g., with 50% probability you load your old adsense code, and with 50% probability you load your old ads. Then see how the money compares at the end of the month. |
Anyways, while this has been quite fun...I should probably bounce. Night ya'll. Fstranger, in real life, you know you don't have the balls to talk crap to someone on my level. You are intimidated even by your Indian peers. Given what you know about your peers (where they are at in life) and what you know about me, then use the sense that whatever god you serve gave you and think twice before trying your crap. I am perfectly willing to embarrass and shame you further if you want. Just try me. |
fagamite: It think its more that two, No?Heh. Your translation algorithms from Ife dialect into English seem to have failed. Perhaps give it another try. |
I guess this is the problem with internet anonymity. How many stupid remarks have you made in this thread alone? In the real world, when a person says stupid things repeatedly, their Indian peers mock and ridicule them into silence. But on Nairaland, this same person can talk trash incessantly, feeling that they won't be called out. |
fagamite: What can I say: I live just to stalk you.Indeed. This morning, within 2 minutes of me quoting someone else on NL, you post directly in response to me. 2 of your NL accounts follow me. You are certainly a stalker, that is no news. But the more comical issue to me is your sheer stupidity. |
An idiotic guy who thinks that the WSJ is a left-wing newspaper, and offers the most mor0nic justification for his position. Thinking so feeble that my 11 year old sister would be ashamed of your logic. No wonder you feel intimidated by those Indians. |
Heck. Forget about even what I know about you and you know about me. Comparing your track record of posts on NL to mine, do you honestly think that a neutral third party will think that we are even in the same neighborhood? Lawd have mercy, I'm lmao here |
na wa for this guy Is this some sort of coping mechanism? You struggle to tread water with your peers in real life, so identify people much more successful and younger than you , and pretend as if you are in the same neighborhood as them. Na wa o. It is hard to imagine someone like you talking as much as crap as you do. You realize you and I have talked before on Yahoo Messenger, right? I know where you went to undergrad. I know where you are going to medical school. You know where I went to college, what I got my degrees in (two subjects beyond your brain power), and where I am currently at now. You and I have never been mates. And the gap has only separated with time. Are you seeking to embarrass yourself on purpose? |
Mr "The WSJ is left wing, since it is to the left of the far right" speaking about intelligence. Are you not the same student who gets owned by Nairaland medical doctors whenever he posts on those topics? I remember aletheia waxing your ass not too long ago. You are incompetent even in your chosen profession. What will you do when you get into the real world, botch your treatment of patients and your insurance rates skyrocket, putting you out of business? Lmao This guy. The guy kicked out of his Princeton University Medical School and forced to leave for the equally prestigious Hollywood Upstairs Med School speaking on intelligence. Next a cockroach will teach a bear how to fish. |
Rejected even in high school? Hmm. I always figured you for a dumb guy to not even be able to get into Ife or the equivalent. Did it pain you to be rejected from all of the foremost learning institutions in Yorubaland? Did rejection from your hometown Ife pain you especially? |
Truth. I mix up Harry and William. You on the other hand thought that the WSJ was a liberal newspaper, and rationalized your conclusion by arguing that they are to the left of the far right. Good job...dumbass. |
So you were rejected from there in addition to Ife, Ibadan, Unilag, etc? Your folks must have been quite disappointed. I'm sure that your peers mock you by calling you grandpa. Do they also mock your heavy accent too? |
Yeah, Javascript is actually a functional programming language. So for a JS guy, what I said is nothing new. |
jennykadry: @KulyieWhoops...ok, let me amend my statement earlier then to, "Good job, Willy" ![]() |
hehehe |
Lol. No doubt something like attractiveness will be subjective: there are some who will find me attractive and others who do not. Since my target demographic finds me attractive, I could care less what you think. Regarding intelligence? Aren't you the guy who struggled to get into a top university even in a country like Nigeria, not to talk of one in yankee? Aren't you the guy who is much older than your peers and colleagues due to various academic setbacks? What does one such as you know of intelligence? |
1. Writing 2. Guns and gunpowder 3. Printing press And all sorts of stuff they had in Europe and Asia even at 1400AD which our ancestors did not have |
How can you not love this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vr842TpBWE |
With that said, I don't think there is anything intrinsically wrong/inferior with the black man. Any more than there is with say the indigenous people of America, South America, Australia, etc. Given the same opportunities and upbringing, black folk can perform as well as anyone else. Or so I believe, anyway. |
I dunno. To be fair, sub-saharan Africa has been relatively isolated from the center of action until pretty recently (1600 or so)? But yes, the lack of advancement of our forebears certainly makes things more difficult today. |
Horus: I think you got it all wrong. China and Japan keeep and follow their tradition and culture and this is why they are very powerfull nations. China and Japan are not underdeveloped and have a very strong tradition and culture. Nigeria is underdeveloped because of corruption and mismanagement.China is very underdeveloped. |
Seun, are you abandoning AdSense completely? If so, why? |
interesting. |
I think making lawbreakers pay enormous fees is perfectly fine. But confiscating the property outright...I mean, what if it is a $100,000 vehicle. Do I really deserve to lose that car because I went over the speed limit slightly, for example? The punishment needs to fit the crime, not vastly exceed it. |
Err. So there is no option of paying a fine to retrieve your car? If so, that is pretty extreme. |
^- Indeed, the protest appears to have been sanctioned by the Pakistani gov't |
Isn't this standard practice? If you have your vehicle seized by your police somewhere for violating laws, is the expectation that they will hold it for you indefinitely? The storage space costs them money. |

19 Reported Dead as Pakistanis Protest Muhammad Video By DECLAN WALSH ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Violent crowds furious over an anti-Islamic film made in the United States convulsed Pakistan’s largest cities on Friday, leaving up to 19 people dead and more than 160 injured in a day of government-sanctioned protests. It was the worst single day of violence in a Muslim country over the film, “Innocence of Muslims,” since protests began nearly two weeks ago in Egypt, before spreading to two dozen countries. Protesters have ignored the United States government’s denunciation of the film. Friday’s violence in Pakistan began with a television station employee dying from gunshot wounds during a protest in the northwestern city of Peshawar, then was amplified through armed protests in the southern port of Karachi that left between 12 and 14 people dead, Pakistani news media reported. By nightfall Geo, the leading television station, was reporting 19 deaths around the country. Less violent protests occurred in other Muslim countries, but were exacerbated by the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a French satirical weekly. In Bangladesh, several thousand Islamist activists took to the streets of the capital, Dhaka, waving banners and torching a symbolic coffin for President Obama that was draped with the American flag. "Death to the United States and death to French”, they chanted. In Tunisia, the government invoked emergency powers to outlaw all demonstrations; American diplomatic posts in India, Indonesia and elsewhere closed for the day. France closed embassies and other institutions in 20 countries while, in Paris, some Muslim leaders urged their followers to heed a government ban on weekend demonstrations. “There will be strictly no exceptions. Demonstrations will be banned and broken up,” said Manuel Valls, the interior minister. In Pakistan, the streets erupted from early morning in Peshawar, where protesters torched two cinemas. Two people, including the television employee, Muhammad Amir, were killed. Mr. Amir’s employer broadcast graphic footage of hospital staff giving him emergency treatment shortly before he died, which other Pakistani journalists condemned as insensitive and irresponsible. Some protesters tried to reach the city’s heavily guarded American consulate, which has a strong Central Intelligence Agency component. By evening, hospital officials said at least five people were dead and more than 50 injured.
