It is the ''best team'' that will win this AFCON not the one with a few individually brilliant players.

Here is my top 4 teams most likely to win the tournament( in descending order) and why.

1. Senegal.
Reasons:
a. They have the right mix of foreign/africa based players.
b. They have a good mix of experienced and fresh players.
c. They are yet to win this tournament before.
d. They have consistently been at the top three teams in Africa for sometime now.
e. Mane and Mendy:
You cannot win a tournament without goals and an exceptional keeper.
f. They are coached by a veteran and National hero who may see this as his last opportunity to lay his hands on the coveted trophy.

2. Tunisia.
Reason
Very compact team. Everybody knows every other persons next move... It is as if they can play blindfolded.

3. Cameroon
Reason
a. The twelfth-player-on the pitch syndrome.
b. The Lions would treat their opponent as intruders who dared to come into their den to decimate their PRIDE
c. The have Generals in every department.
Onana gk
Zambo Anguissa
Abubakar
Choupo Moting
d. Five time winners. O ti mo won lara

4. Algeria
Reason.
a. Defending Champions- although this may work against them because of Africans pull-him-down syndrome.
Most teams will see a win against them as a lifting of some sort of trophy.
b. A veteran Local coach that has been there and done that.
c. They are currently on an unbeaten run of 40 games
c. They have Generals in every department and can also play blindfolded with precision and accuracy.
can
d. They score a lot of goals...

e. They they really concede

If you are disappointed that you did not see 'Nigeria' in my list, sorry ooo.
We come sixth on my list behind Pharoahs of Egypt (another high scoring side.

This sixth wet I put them an simply because of one reason: if that Naija Spirit come upon them la san... Na Zazu zen everybody go dey collect.

Just look at my analysis for Senegal as first chiice to win this afcon as at 17th January 2022

The Egyptian defender was faster than Iwobi... He would have stopped Iwobi way before he came anywhere near the 18. You can't give a pass that early if you see that who you are passing to will be closed down, that's basic tactics.

See how the defender completely covered that area, so much so that Iwobi had to drift away to see if he could pounce on the loose ball or if Ejuke would square it.

Omeruo comes second.
Aina's performance justifies rohr's sack..

I loved Iheanacho and Awoniyi partnership. but the former could have scored at least two more goals, if not for first touch palaver.

Ndidi remains a jewel.

If you see a man married to a Nigerian girl, hug him...he's going through alot.

This is expensive assumption that aims to scare people away from marriage, opting for raising kids without both parents daily involvement.
If no man is perfect and many who are well to do still seek something that would mKe them feel complete why do you expect any marriage to be perfect?
The better both intending-couples plan for marriage(not Wedding oh) and the faithfulness, sacrifice, and commitment they are both willing to put into the better.
Here are two questions I will ask from two perspectives, showing one'a preparedness.

1. Question to Men.
Are you ready to love, provide for your woman UNCONDITIONALLY and have sexual intercourse with her, exclusively?
This is every woman's desire irrespective of her shortcomings.

2. Question to the ladies.
Are you ready to love, support, encourage, help, and generously and graciously satisfy him sexually, remaining sexually faithful to him alone, through thick and thin.
Sorry ooooh, there are many enjoying theirs.

If you are a logical person, you would know there is no separation between who rapes a young scantily dressed lady and who rapes children? If a man can rape a scantily dressed woman, he would also rape a scantily dressed child, he would also rape a scantily dressed old woman, he would even rape a goat because they are naked everytime.

My guess was accurate when I saw (f) in your bio... I am speaking from a male point of view.
Please, I come in peace, making an honest opinion from a man's brain, only for the research purpose. The Lust and attraction that 80 percent of men feel for a lady in her prime is huge and more rampant. In the absence of self-control, R is more likely to occur than in a child or aged person.
The latter is most likely come as a result of chronic psychiatric or diabolical disorder.

Reprobates and Diabolic people (juju reasons) are more likely to commit rape in children/aged.

Please, can we clarify this 'Justification matter'.

If I say to and armed robbery victim: 'you should not have let you gates and doors wide open when going to sleep at night, how does it mean I am justifying the armed robbery act?

Our clothes are like gates to our body, let's try as much as possible to shut perverts out, male or female.

He who the cap fits let him wear it.

I am glad Eguavon insists that every player has a clean slate. If true then there would be keen competition, which would bring out the best of each player.

Imagine what will be going on in the head of a premier league striker if he is been benched by a second division player in an unknown country.

That is how The Super Eagles have always thrived. Great Club and Leagues have never played well for us but great players- despite where they play.

I have always dreamt of Awoniyi turning out as another Yekini and Kelechi becoming our own Eto'o Fils, but my guts tell me that this is Sadiq Umar's tournament, if he earns and is given the opportunity.
We have seen what 'Jojolo' brings to the table, during Siasia's last stint at the Olympics.

However, I am most excited about the role Frank 'the tank' Onyeka would play in this tournament. I envisage a replica of an unplayable Onazi in that Ngr vs Fra game.

Rape has nothing to do with how a lady is dressed… kids of 3-5yrs old are raped… Do these kids wear seductive clothes? No. Old women in their 70s are being raped, do these women wear sexy clothes? No…. Rape is a mental disease

Sorry ooooo
Although rape is the worst crime against women and the above view is the logical conditioning from the western world.

Please, separate chronic/crude mental perverts from the kind rape you envisage with the above picture.

I had a relative that was always dressing like this in my hood back in the days.
She became a target for all he-goats (in human form) but for the Strongman she had in an older relative. He was constantly told that they were just tolerating her provocative dressing because of him but he should talk to his 16year old sister.

It took counseling from my brother who she looked up to for the desired change.

The western world and Africa are two entirely different places, the probability of being caught and brought to justice in Nigeria is low. Contrary, in the western world this is the reason why some innocent people aren't criminals yet.

Please, all my sisters cover yourselves well. It ain't a hundred guarantee but it can help.

If a girl wears this dress (not necessarily this dress, any skimpy dress) to a party and she's raped. Is it her fault?

If she wear this in the streets Banana Island late at night and gets R it I ain't her fault but if she wears same strolling by 1pm in Oshodi, Nyanya, Makoko and gets raped it is PURELY her fault.
Reason: it will only take intoxication from Blue Crystal Meth for someone to jump into a lion's cage and blames the Lion for eating him/her.

Ajibade

Odega
Okparanozie
Kanu

But I like what I see in Monday Gift. She brought her consistency local league into the ABC competition.

Okobi and chikwelu need serious competitors. Them midfield too boring.

Highlights of Nigeria vs Mali for those who want to watch

The role of good Home-based professionals in our National teams cannot be overemphasized.
Their doggedness and never-Say-die attitudes towards matches are a delight to see.
Before the introduction of Monday Gift yesterday the Falcons were uninteresting to watch whenever they are in the final third.

The midfielders struggled a lot, unlike the defense that stood like the rock of Gibraltar.

The attackers may harp on the excuse that they were not adequately fed by the attackers but they made a mess of the few chances and half chances they got.

I can not say if it is due to jetlag or fatigue from playing many matches.
However, I must commend them for grinding out a good result.
We move...
