How do you reconcile this

killyaselfie:
No, I am not.
and this?

killyaselfie:
I’ve lived an interesting life such that when Christians say “there are no atheists in foxholes”, I laugh because I was in a “foxhole” when I affirmed my atheism.
killyaselfie:
The concept of god and the supernatural are nonsense. There is no belief or unbelief needed.
You dismissed my Santa story as a fairy tale without batting an eye so you have an idea what your religious stories sound like.
You don't believe "God" exists.

What did you mean here?

killyaselfie:
Nevertheless, I am an avatar of the Lord God, the True Light.
killyaselfie:
The exoteric meaning of religious stories are nonsense while the esoteric meaning are clever but nonsense nonetheless.
Just so we are clear, distinguish between exoteric and esoteric. Give one or two examples.

killyaselfie:
eg. Adam and Eve is an allegory of why mankind is subject to the vagaries of the seasons due to no fault of theirs. The story starts in spring and ends in winter and the “Lord God” is the mythical genius of the Sun. But the ones who bamboozle people and turn them into holy slaves have convinced the devout that it’s about some evil principle in them called “original sin”.
The story of Adam and Eve is not an allegory. Have you even read it?

killyaselfie:
Nevertheless, I am an avatar of the Lord God, the True Light.
You mean the sun is your god?

But I see you want it clear, what it means to be a Christian.
Chrisgini? Where did you see "Christian" in all those passages highlighted above?

What is your religion?
Go through the thread properly, you will see my response. Meanwhile, what is your religion's view on what you mentioned above?

I spoke with Santa last week on his way back to the North Pole. I run a reindeer stable north of the Bering Strait and this time of year usually brings traffic, being the Yuletide season and all. Old Santa checked in last week and stayed for about 3 days because Prancer had split hooves that required care. You know, those reindeers are getting up there in age!!
Anyway, Santa said, “people are such a disappointment”. With a sorrowful and anguished look on his weather beaten jolly face he recounted your deeds from the past year. Brother! My mouth was agape as he told me about your behavior, which beggars belief.
How is the boy??!!

It suffice to say, you should expect coal in your socks this Christmas and for the next three yuletides.
Fairy tale.

This lord aimed to bring his chosen savages to goodness and piety but his very first commandment shows insecurity and narcissism instead of anything useful.

This lord gave 10 commandments and 4 of them are about securing his own position. The all powerful magician seemed very insecure. I wonder if he was impersonating another lord. undecided

This lord is similar to an abusive man telling his woman friend not to even look at other men. Lmao

That said, you are entitled to your opinion. My own is that, it is freely given and freely received, and you own it by reading it as a child, as in, without previous opinions and beliefs given to you by those Jeremiah and Christ said, "woe", to.

I have given the context within which I used the word "occultic".

Budaatum, to me, as long as the righteous path is concerned, any teaching or knowledge outside the scope of the wisdom, teaching, knowledge or understanding of God Almighty, YHVH Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, is occultic. Such teaching or knowledge is demonic. It is within this context that the occult is considered evil.

Consider:

Deut 18: 9 When you enter the land YHVH your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to YHVH; because of these same detestable practices YHVH your God will drive out those nations before you. 13 You must be blameless before YHVH your God.

Whatever secrets or mysteries the disciples of Yahushua the Messiah received from him, they shared with us.

You are trying to evade the issue at hand.

Lmao. I’m also curious how this god turned dust to flesh and blood.
What kind of dust?
Did he use top soil or did he dig a hole?
Was the dust from a desert or volcanic eruption?

After grabbing a handful of dust to create the Adam, did god utter some magic words?

A handful of dust + Abracadabra = Adam
A young virgin + !Abracadabra! = Jesus

YES ...that is what I have been singing from the top of my voice.

The Hebrew Bible was written by the jews for the jews. For their official religion called Judaism.
Thei yoruba also wrote or passed the knowledge of their own religion from generation to generation. Same as the igbos.
I wonder why you are using the Hebrew one as a yardstick for all of humanity.
They all worship the creator. There is only one God and creator of the universe.
The only difference is how people approach him and the nomenclature..

Marduk is the creator of heaven and earth according to the Babylonians. He is the lord God of the old testament..(check the enuma Elish) .

It was him who asked Nebuchadnezzar to bring everyone to Babylon to learn about him.
With all what you have filled your mind, it will not be easy for you to understand the Truth. I doubt if you haven't confused yourself completely.

Yahushua the Messiah, the Salvation of YHVH Almighty, will help you if you turn to him for deliverance.

He definitely is all over the place and buda is definitely what has been referred to as occult. Or at least, off the beaten track.

I'm sure we'd have called Jesus occultic too though, if he were around today. His time people did said he was demonic, so not far off, don't you think?

I feel Jesus' response would be "Blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear", at least to those who seek to understand.
I drew his attention and yours to what you said as quoted below:

budaatum:
This is very not true. The stories we read about Jesus specifically teach “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

The bolded 'your' means your God, whichever it may be. You hinted on this understanding with "Not necessary Judaism", so it does not matter that some wait since many have not yet received a book, and some not even abc.
I am interested in the last paragraph. Are you saying that your teaching there is not occultic...not hidden...demonic?
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Purpose Of The Messiah? by elated177: 1:39am On Jan 11, 2022
sonmvayina:
I said the Messiah will lead people fo the worship and reverence of one God. The creator of the universe...Not necessary through Judaism..yorubas refers to the creator as Eledumare and the igbos as chukwu....the yorubas will worship Eledumare and the igbos will worship only chukwu ONLY.
Eledumare =chukwu = marduk = Hashem= creator of the universe...
What was your response when I called budaatum's teaching occultic?

Having a discussion with you is always something else. This is because you are always all over the place. You mean the Babylonians worshipped the true God? Nebuchadnezzar's Babylon or another Babylon? You have to choose one.

Again, "chukwu" is a title and not a name.

The one true God revealed himself to Abraham. From his Scriptures, we know what he expects from his worshippers and how to go to him. Any other god that doesn't have these, cannot be the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as recorded in the Scriptures.

Do you think our ancestors, prior to the coming of the missionaries, worshipped the Creator?
