The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Visits Buhari, Demands El-Zakzaky’s Release:

The umbrella body of Nigerian Christians, CAN, visited President Buhari and asked for the release of the illegally detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

CAN President, Reverend Samson Ayokunle, made the request among others on Friday when he led a delegation of the Christian body to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He asked President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure, “Total adherence to the rule of law as it’s required by our Constitution and full-blown democracy by making sure that those whose bails have been granted by competent courts like Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), and Leader of the Shiites, Malam Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, are released from detention to enjoy the bail granted them by the courts of law.”

“This would ease tension in the land and give credit to your administration together with respect from the international community,” Reverend Ayokunle added.

In December 2015 a competent court freed Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his injured wife from the illegal detention but President Buhari, Elrufai and gang contemptuously refused to obey the judgement of the court.

Recently the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman boasted in an interview with the American Time magazine that they are behind the brutal and inhuman #ZariaGenocide and the illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

This call by Nigerian Christian leaders is part of the recent impetus of calls and campaigns for the release of the illegally detained leader of the Islamic Movement. Daily #FreeZakzaky protest continue in the Nigerian capital city, Abuja.

Re:Shittes: Why El-Zakzaky Can’t Be Released – Gov. El-Rufai

Brothers and sisters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria bombarded me with this link and after going through it I decided that there is a need for a rejoinder to expose the fraudulent lies and false propaganda by Kaduna state Governor Elrufai.

The tyrannical and oppressive Buhari regime recently released a video where the Nigerian Minister of Information fraudulently claimed that the are feeding the illegally detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, with 3.5 million Naira monthly. They released that video thinking they will attract sympathy from Nigerians but the exact opposite happened. They were strongly condemned and criticized and the impetus for the call to Free Sheikh Zakzaky increased. Nigerians clearly saw their fraudulent and corrupt nature of their claiming that they are feeding a single person with such a huge amount of money. Kaduna state Governor hastily arraigned this interview in desperation to save face.

As those who brutally slaughtered 1000+ innocent Shia infants, children, women and men in Zaria in December 2015 have become a laughingstock in Nigeria due to their claim of feeding Sheikh Zakzaky with 3.5 million Naira per month, Elrufai claimed "the money was not on feeding of the Shi’ite leader but on everything related to his protective custody.
El-Rufai said El-Zakzaky is guarded by a detachment of soldiers and DSS operatives who live in the place he is being kept and who are maintained by the state government." The Nigerian Minister of information video went viral in Nigeria and Nigerians can now clearly see the difference of what he claimed and what Elrufai is saying here.

The claim by Elrufai that "the IMN leader was detained on the orders of a competent court" is fraudulent as in December 2016 a Federal High Court in Abuja freed Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife and declared their detention illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional but President Buhari, Elrufai and gang contemptuously refused to obey the judgement of the court. The same people are now claiming that Sheikh Zakzaky is legally detained! This same gang will refuse to obey the judgement of this court when it free Sheikh Zakzaky as their charges are fraudulent and fake that can not withstand the due legal process of any court. A competent court in the same Kaduna state recently dismissed five of the most important charges against Sheikh Zakzaky.

Their goal is to hold on Sheikh Zakzaky and his injured wife as long as possible to prevent the number one witness of the Saudi-sponsored brutal and inhuman #ZariaGenocide from speaking to the Press and telling the world what actually happened in Zaria on 12th - 14th December, 2015. On the case of the trump-up charges against Sheikh Zakzaky it is either the court case is prosponed due to a flimsy excuse of lack of security or that compromised and corrupt judge will adjourn the case for three months! Yes for three months! At this pace the court will only sit twice or thrice for a whole year. Which means they want the fraudulent trial to finish in 6,7, or 8 years. This is exactly what these wicked people planned.

Governor Elrufai claimed they "took time to investigate the Shi’ite leader and discovered that his activities for more than 20 years had caused several killings." All the casualties of this claim of killings were members of the Islamic Movement. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria is a victim of state-sponsored terrorism. Before President Buhari the record of killing members of the Islamic Movement was held by the late military dictator General Sani Abacha. When he illegally detained Sheikh Zakzaky, peaceful protest were held and they were attacked and peaceful protesters killed. For the past 20 years members of the Islamic Movement were either killed by trigger-happy security forces or by BokoHaram terrorists or by armed bloodthirsty Wahhabi hoodlums who are protected by security forces. In 2016 #Arbaeen mourning activities in Kaduna, Governor Elrufai sponsored armed Wahhabi hoodlums to attack the peaceful Shia mourners. They used police and military vehicles to stage those attacks. Videos of those attacks are available.

The final fraudulent claim of Governor Elrufai is laughable as he tried to justify the illegal proscription of The Islamic Movement by the Kaduna state government which was condemned even by the US government. He claimed: “As a government, we decided to proscribe Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) of which El-Zakzaky is the president because it is not registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). So, any procession in the name of IMN is illegal, as far as Kaduna State government is concerned.” The Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is a mass Movement with millions of members in Nigeria, Ghana, Niger Republic, Chad, Benin Republic, Cameroon, and as far as Brazil, Haiti and Turkey. The Islamic Movement is a trans-national organization. There are more than seven Affiliates of the Islamic Movement that are duely registered With the Corpetrate Affairs Commission (CAC). The Islamic Medical Association (ISMA) which is the Health wing of the Islamic Movement is registered with CAC. The Resource Forum which is the intellectual and skilled manpower bank of the Islamic Movement is registered with CAC. The Academic Forum which is a group dedicated to University undergraduates and students of higher institutions of the Islamic Movement is registered with CAC. The Sisters Forum of the Islamic Movement is registered with CAC. The Al-Zahra Trust, a charity organization of the Islamic Movement is registered with CAC. So if the Resource Forum of the Islamic Movement organize peaceful #FreeZakzaky protest in Kaduna, is it illegal? There is no protest that is illegal under the Nigerian constitution and Nigerians do not need police permit to stage Protest.

On a final note, throghtout history mass graves have never buried genocides and the Buhari, Elrufai and gang mass graves will never be an exception. No matter how long it takes the families of the victims of the brutal and inhuman Zaria genocide will get justice.

Re: The Religion Of Shi'a Is A Threat To Our Peace!

A prominent Nigerian Journalist sent me this article and said he wanted my reply on this. Initially I apologized that I am a bit busy but he insisted. The following is my humble reply to this fake and fraudulent "Imam" from Okene, Kogi state.

The first thing I checked when I received the article was who signed it. And I saw "Imam Murtada Muhammad Gusau, from Okene, Kogi State, Nigeria". A true Imam out of Islamic decorum and humility will never sign his name with the Imam tag. This shows Murtada Muhammad Gusau is a fake and fraudulent Imam seeking attention from the savage Saudi regime who are presently sponsoring #ShiaGenocide in Nigeria. It is either this Murtada is receiving Saudi-petro dollars for his campaign of lies, calumny and demonization against Shia Islam and Muslim Unity or he wrote this divisive piece to attract attention. The spread of Shia Islam in Africa and most importantly in Nigeria is given the Saudi Wahhabi regime and their paid Nigerian agents sleepless nights.

Let's return to the topic. The writer framed his divisive piece as "The Religion Of Shi'a Is A Threat To Our Peace!". Shia Islam is one of the two wings of Islam and the other wing is Sunni Islam. Shia Islam has never been a threat to the peace of humanity but Shia Islam is a threat to the murderous terrorism of #ISIS, #AlQaeda, #BokoHaram and all murderous Wahhabi terrorist groups. Shia Islam condemned all forms of terrorism and all these murderous terrorist groups are inspired by #Wahhabism, the same Wahhabism that this fake Imam is defending here. This fake Imam did not only attacked Shia Islam in this piece but he also attacked the Sunni Sufi Brotherhood. We are in the period of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (sa), a glorious event widely celebrated by Shia Muslims and Sunni Sufi Brotherhood.

The #Fake Imam claimed:

"They do not grasp the fact that difference between Sunnis and Shi'ites does not relate only to subsidiary matters but also to some fundamentals as well."

The bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians are the biggest enemies of Muslim Unity in the world today. There are no fundamental differences of Shia and Sunni Islam. God is One. Prophet Muhammad (sa) is one. Quran is one. Qibla is one. Prayers is one. Fasting is one. Zakkat is one. Hajj is one. Then where is the fundamental difference? It is important to note that these bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians like this fake Imam do not only excommunicate Shia Muslims from Islam, they also excommunicate the Overwhelming majority of Sunni Muslims from Islam.

As usual the fake Imam uses the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (sa) as a cover to demonize Shia Islam. Wahhabism is an empty cult dedicated to the worship of companions. To these bloodthirsty barbarians it is Better to insult a Prophet of God than to state the historical lapses and blunders of some companions. Companions of the Prophet are not infallible, they were fallible human like us. They sinned, deviated and committed blunders. There were thieves among the companions of the Prophet. There were drunkards among the companions of the Prophet. There were those who committed Adultery and Fornication among Companions of the Prophet. A companion of the Prophet buried other companions alive in the Syrian desert. Yes, Muaywiya bin Abu sufyan buried Hujr Ibn Adi al-Kindi and his companions alive in the Syrian desert. Read Islamic history. Are these companions righteous and our role-models?

God is Just. God will not have separate Justice for companions and another for other Muslims. The Justice of God is one! If a companion buried an innocent man alive, this a heinous crime that will be punish by God. God will not say because he saw the Messenger of God (sa) then he will go free. God is Just. Seeing the Messenger of God does not present any advantage where the justice of God is concern. The advantage of seeing the Prophet is to be righteous, pious and faithful. To see the Prophet and then bury Muslims alive is the peak of evil and barbarism. Yes, say I insulted a companion. He is a murderous criminal and barbarian to bury Muslims alive in the Syria desert.

The fake Imam confessed:

"Undoubtedly, propagating the Shi'ite faith is making its way rapidly throughout the Muslim world. It is extending beyond the borders of countries where it used to be such as Iran, Iraq and Lebanon. Rather, it is now spreading on a wide range in Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Syria, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and other Muslim countries."

Shia Islam is today spreading across the world not with the power of the sword or inhuman terrorism but with the power of positive reasoning, good conduct and sound propagation. Lies, fake news and fraudulent propaganda can never stop the spread of Shia Islam. Terrorism-enabled Wahhabism infiltrated Sunni Islam and contaminated it with hate, intolerance and murderous terrorism. How can Sunni Islam be attractive with all these Wahhabi contaminations? A Wahhabi barbarian will tell you Nigerian Christians are your enemies. The same Christians that gave refuge to early Muslims During the time of the Prophet in Ethiopia and protected them. Sunni Muslims must de couple Sunni Islam from murderous Wahhabism. This is most important! Religion can not be based on hate, intolerance and murderous terrorism.

The fake Imam like ISIS and BokoHaram terrorists could not hide his hatred for Shia Islam and Sunni Sufi Brotherhood:

"What adds to the difficulty of the situation and the improbability of remaining silent thereon is the close relationship between Shi'ite and Sufi methodologies on the pretext that both of them love the Prophet's Household (Ahlul Bayt). As we know, Sufism is widespread in many Muslim countries when it is famous for committing many Bid'ahs and abhorred sins and shares Shi'a in that both sanctify the graves of the Prophet's Household. As a result, Shi'ism is expected to spread so long as Sufi sects are widespread in Muslim countries."

The fake Imam out of desperation lied about #Iraq:

"The situation in Iraq is very dangerous. It became a usual scene that Sunni Muslims are killed after glancing at their identity cards. Respected Islamic Scholar Harith Al-Dary, Secretary General of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq, stated that more than 100,000 Sunnis were killed by Shi'ites from 2003 to 2006 only."

When the US-created ISIS barbarians invaded Northern Iraq and massacred all Iraqis that included Sunnis, Shias, Christians, Kurds and Tukemens, it was the Shia force that defeated them and saved Iraq. Shia Muslims are protecting Sunnis in Iraq. This is the truth. Trying to stir up sectarianism using false news and narrations is Absolute evil. To claim that 100,000 Sunnis were killed in Iraq by Shiites is a blatant and compound lie. If I may ask, how many Shia Muslims did Saddam murdered in Iraq? More than 300,000 Shia Muslims were brutally slaughtered by the evil tyrant Saddam yet we never accuse Sunni Islam of this genocide. When wicked mass murderer Nigerian tyrant Buhari brutally slaughtered 1000+ Shia infants, children, women and men in Zaria in December 2015, did we accuse Sunni Islam of this genocide?

The fake Imam claimed:

"Moreover, the dangers of Iran's ambitions in Iraq is reinforced by the fact that US backs and supports such ambitions. We can all see the American-backed and sponsored Shi'ite government. Furthermore, reciprocal unreal accusations between the US and Iran should make no sense. Actually, USA never thinks of launching war against Iran."

The whole world knows that the Saudi regime is a puppet of US imperialism. The savage Saudi regime is the biggest tool of the genocidal European savages in the Islamic world but Wahhabi barbarians are always trying to cover this fact and reality. They desperately want the US regime to attack Iran but the US regime is fearful of the consequences of such folly due to Iran power. Saudi Arabia is too weak to attack Iran and no murderous Wahhabi terrorist group can survive in Iran so they want their American masters to do the job for them.

One a final note, I hope I address the main points raised by this fake Imam who is a naked enemy of Muslim Unity. Happy Moulud to All Muslims!

Unity Week 1440AH

After the victory of the Glorious Islamic Revolution in Iran in 1979 the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ruhullah Khomeini (ra), established the Unity Week. A week earmarked to strengthen the bond of Islamic brotherhood of Sunni and Shia Muslims. The Unity Week is held between two dates of the birthday of prophet Muhammad (sa). One of the dates is narrated by Sunnis and the other narrated by Shia. The two dates are the twelfth of Rabi Al Awwal, the first week of the third lunar month of the Islamic calendar, according to Sunnis, and the seventeenth of Rabi al Awwal, according to Shia.

The then Saudi Grand Mufti attacked Sunni and Shia Muslims for celebrating the Birth Anniversary of the Messenger of God (sa). In response to that bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarian, Imam Khomeini proposed the Unity Week as a medium of enhancing Muslim Unity. Bloodthirsty Wahhabi savages are mortal enemies of Muslim Unity. If you want to become enemy of a Wahhabi barbarian then propose Muslim Unity. They hate Muslim Unity with passion. They do everything to destroy Muslim Unity. The main reason why the British Empire gave them the Muslim Holy Cities of Makkah and Madina. The main purpose of Hajj pilgrimage is to strengthen Muslim Unity but with bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians in control that is sabotaged.

Every year the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky organize series of programs and activities to mark the Unity Week. On the first of Rabiu Awwal the Black flag of mourning is dropped and the Green flag of celebration is raise. Colorful March Pass of Sunni and Shia children are organize to usher in the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet (sa). Lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences are organize throughout the month of Rabiu Awwal with Sunni scholars in attendance to mark the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet (sa). Christian Pastors and leaders are invited to all programs and activities on the Birth Anniversary of the Prophet.

Unity is most important. Murderous #ISIS, #AlQaeda, #BokoHaram etc terrorists are strongly oppose to Muslim Unity. These bloodthirsty killers are tools of genocidal European savages who uses them as a proxy army to slaughter innocent civilians, rape girls and women and destroy towns and cities to facilitate the plunder and looting of resources. The savage Saudi regime is their mother while genocidal European savages their bastardized father. The savage Saudi regime brainwashed Sunni youths and turn them into bloodthirsty killers who love the taste of blood. They kill the innocent, rape women and loot the properties of their victim all in the name of Islam. The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, is a strong advocate of Muslim unity. He forbid his millions of followers to build their own Mosque. He said they should continue praying in the existing Sunni Mosques behind Sunni Imam. One of the reasons why the savage Saudi regime hate him with passion. The imperialists also hate him for this. As we welcome the month of Rabiu Awwal, it is our hope that this epitome of Muslim unity will regain his freedom from the dungeon of bloodthirsty Wahhabi barbarians who brutally slaughtered 1000+ of his followers in Zaria that included his three children in December 2015.

Sheikh Zakzaky deserves freedom not lavish feeding

Nigeria’s Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, has fraudulently claimed that the Buhari regime spends 3.5 million Naira monthly or N115,000 daily as feeding expenses on the illegally detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. He made the claim on Wednesday, the same day a Kaduna court denied the Sheikh bail in a video that has gone viral, while addressing some journalists.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria believes that this is part of the grand deception of this administration to present a "human face" after it brutally slaughtered more than one thousand innocent and defenseless civilians in Zaria in December 2015. Let us also note that his 3 sons who were also in his residence were among those murdered in cold blood in his presence and buried in mass graves. The atrocity didn't just stop at that. His residence was completely razed and later flattened.

This same government had also told the world through the Federal High Court in Abuja that the Sheikh didn't do anything wrong, but they shot him and the wife and all the atrocities was only to protect him. The Court was not convinced and so ordered that he should be set free. The government reneged.

Now they shamelessly lie to the world that they are "good" to him.

Moreover when some members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria met the Sheikh early last month, among the things he complained of is the poor feeding he is facing since transferred to Kaduna six months ago. Considering his age and failing health he deserves some special feeding arrangements, but those holding him custody have denied him that. This clearly shows that some security officers are looting public funds under the guise of keeping the Sheikh under ‘protective custody’ which a federal high court in Abuja has since declared illegal under the constitution.

Also the Minister’s claim which he said is ‘off the record’ clearly exposes the corruption in the DSS. This figure could be true in their records, but they actually use that to loot public funds in the name of feeding the Sheikh, while in reality the Sheikh is the one catering for himself and buying all his domestic needs.

The N115,000 daily feeding claim by the Minister is similar to the case of Nigerian Prisons where the government claimed they spend N14,500:00 daily in feeding every individual prisoner in Nigeria. But a visit to the prison tells you that is all lies. The prisoner is malnourished and sick apart from living in congestion with absolutely zero hygiene.

We consider the statement of the Minister of information as an insult to the personality of our leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. We advise the Minister to desist from involving the Sheikh in his unfortunate lies and for once tell Nigerians the actual truth that the government does not spend such amount on Sheikh Zakzaky.

We reiterate our call for the government to free Sheikh Zakzaky to enable him seek medical treatment abroad.

The Prophet’s (pbuh) Sunnah and Sirah are the two fundamental reference points after the noble Qur’an on which all Muslims agree. He is the best of exemplars (33:21) and obedience to him alongside that of Allah (swt) is obligatory upon every Muslim. It is for this reason that Muslims organize elaborate programs to celebrate the birthday of the noble Messenger (pbuh) that falls in the month of Rabi‘ al-Awwal. Whatever the form of celebration, the purpose is to learn from the example of the noble Messenger (pbuh), with a view to implementing those ideals in our lives.

One other point must be noted before we discuss the importance of Muslim unity. Among Muslims there is a slight difference of opinion about the exact day of the Prophet’s (pbuh) birthday. The “Sunnis” believe that it is the 12th of Rabi‘ al-Awwal while the “Shi‘is” say it is the 17th. To accommodate both dates, the Islamic Republic of Iran proposed a week of Muslim Unity. It is called Hafta-e Wahdat (Week of Unity) so that Muslims from both schools of thought can come together to honor the memory of the noblest of all human beings ever to grace the face of the earth.

Unity is a cherished ideal that every Muslim must strive for at all times, especially today when sectarianism is deliberately promoted to create divisions in the Ummah. Regrettably attempts at division have succeeded to some extent causing immense suffering in the Muslim world. The enemies of Islam — imperialists and Zionists — fear Muslim unity. They know that if the Muslims were united, their plots would fail. The imperialists and Zionists would no longer be able to exploit the Muslim world or its resources. Islam’s enemies succeed not because they have superior ideas but because they have penetrated the world of Islam imposing their own agents as rulers, who implement their master’s agenda.

Let us also consider the aspect of differences of opinion in the Ummah that the noble Messenger (pbuh) described as a blessing. Implicit in such permission is the fact that differences have to be expressed in a respectful manner without causing disruption. Regrettably, this is far from the case today. There are groups, organizations, and regimes that thrive on divisions among Muslims. Takfirism — the phenomenon of declaring other Muslims as kafirs — has erupted with full fury despite such pronouncements being expressly forbidden by the noble Messenger (pbuh). The disrupters go further: they take such declarations as a license to kill other Muslims, contrary to Islamic teachings. In Madinah, there were munafiqs in the ranks of Muslims but the noble Messenger (pbuh) prohibited their killing.

The disrupters are often more successful than unifiers because it is easy to create doubts in the minds of people. This does not mean Muslims should give up removing misunderstandings or abandon the quest for unity. There is no better starting point than the Sirah of the noble Messenger (pbuh). But before considering the application of the Sirah, Muslims must be clear that the imposition of alien ideas and institutions on their societies will not achieve the desired results.

The dilemma facing Muslims today is this: a tiny minority insists on aping Western values while the masses long for the implementation of Islamic principles starting with the Sirah of the Prophet (pbuh). If ideas are the foundations of a civilization, then the Islamic civilization cannot be built on ideas borrowed from others. Only ideas rooted in the values and teachings of Islam will bring about the desired results.

In Makkah, the Prophet’s (pbuh) companions included Bilal, Salman, and Suhayb (ra). They were non-Arabs. Muslims today will have to similarly rise above differences of race, color, language and sect and strive for the larger goal of Muslim unity. This is what the Unity Week is all about. At the annual Unity Week conference in Tehran, scholars from all over the world and from all schools of thought in Islam are invited to not only share ideas but also develop mutual understandings and respect. Allah (swt) reminds us in the noble Qur’an,

“Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle; and those who are [truly] with him are firm and unyielding toward all deniers of the truth, [yet] full of mercy toward one another” (48:29).

Muslims must inculcate the beautiful attribute of “mercy towards one another” by developing a clearer understanding of the Qur’an and the Sirah. It must be inclusive and based on the divine principles of fairness and justice. Tribal or sectarian interests have no place in this struggle. Those who pursue such interests cannot claim to represent Muslims, much less the totality of Islam.

RE: Nigerian govt spends N3.5 million monthly to feed El-Zakzaky – Lai Mohammed

The Nigerian Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, recently fraudulently claimed that the tyrannical and oppressive Buhari regime spend 3.5 million Naira monthly as feeding expenses of the illegally detained leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.

This is part of the grand deception of this tyrannical regime to present a "human face" after they brutally slaughtered 1000+ innocent and defenseless civilians in Zaria in December 2015. Their first deception was when they told the Abuja Federal High court that they are holding Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his injured wife in "protective custody" to protect them from harm. The court made a historic judgement by destroying the fraudulent lies and declared the detention of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional. President Buhari contemptuously refused to obey the court judgement. And now this!

What is Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky eating with 3.5 million Naira monthly if we may ask? Are they feeding him with diamond toast and gold deserts? Is the water he is taking made of silver? Why are these people shameless? They brutally murdered his 3 children in his residence and in his presence and completely burnt down his house that included his famous Library. They slaughtered hundreds of his followers in front of his house and according to Amnesty International report they burnt some of them alive and buried some of them alive in Mando mass grave. And they Shamelessly lie to the world that they are "good" to him.

I have the honor of being a student of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky for more than 30 years - since 1987 when I was in High School. The Sheikh Zakzaky I know does not eat much. He only eat only once per day. Sheikh Zakzaky life is devoted to Fasting. He use to fast more than half days of the whole year, every year. He always fast the entire three months of the Islamic calendar Rajab, Sha'aban and Ramadan without missing a single day. How can such a man eat food worth 3.5 million Naira per month?

President Buhari and his murderous regime are pathological liars. To lie to Nigerians is not a problem to them. They lie on everything since they have failed woefully to record even a single achievement. They have nothing to show as achievement to they think lying will cover their failure.

Since the brutal slaughter of more than 60 followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky on a peaceful religious procession in Abuja by the Nigerian army, there is a renew call in Nigeria and around the world for the release of Sheikh Zakzaky and his injured wife from more than two years illegal detention incommunicado by the Buhari regime. They are in need of urgent medical attention from the rain of bullets they were subjected to by the Nigerian army. To dilute this call the Buhari regime sent it notorious Information Minister who Nigerians already knows to be a notorious liar to lie to Nigerians.

On a final note, President Buhari and murderous gang that executed the Saudi-sponsored #ZariaGenocide must understand that their mass graves of the Shia civilians they brutally murdered in Zaria can not cover the genocide. The murderous terrorists who slaughtered the innocent will face Justice one day.

There is nothing more appropriate to underscore a nation with broken consciousness and moral fibre than its present army of occupation across the country. It is a sign of dithering hope, fractured nationality, broken dialogue, and a clear absence of national cohesion and unanimity of purpose. Under a democracy, the Police are vested with the responsibility of maintaining law and order, and not the military by whatever guise.







The present scenario playing out under the Buhari’s administration is an unusual situation in an unusual country, governed by unusual president struggling hard to defend an unusual certificate in a country of sins without sinners.



The present occupation of Nigeria by the Armed Forces with different code names; operation python dance, crocodile smile, Akpatuma, and all others, should naturally remind a serious government that there is a breakdown of national consciousness that needs urgent response by way of constructive engagement and dialogue to restore national cohesion and homogeneity of purpose. But given our present talk-for-bullets approach, blood has become cheap.





Last week was one loaded with so many dramas, each one dictated by actors that suit its configuration. In Abuja, it was a theatre of bloodletting when the Army unleashed its bullets on hapless members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) who were on a procession from all entry points to Abuja in what is called “arbeen”.



There was also similar procession in London, and other places where Shiites exist, to carry out what has become a yearly ritual. The amateur video clips we saw with torrents of gunshots could only be a scene from a battle field. At the end of the day, there were casualties on both sides.



While the army displayed vandalised vehicles as its own loss with one or two injured soldiers, the Shiites members took their human losses to the cemetery. About 45 Shiite members were reportedly killed in the aftermath. And as if to justify her careless excesses and bloodletting, the army tweeted a justification for such killings by using Donald Trump’s reported statement on migrants as food for action. Trump had talked about migrants throwing stones and not Americans. He had also denied the statement following public outrage. Back home in Nigeria, Shiites are not migrants.



They are full blooded Nigerians who hold certain beliefs and who were carrying out their annual ritual of procession to mark a particular event. If the security were to act in a civilised manner, they would have offered protection and guidance to the crowd of persons on that procession and ensure that public peace and orderliness is maintained. I have seen many demonstrations in the past carried out by NLC and other political groups. They were never shot at nor were there any violence reported.





I have also witnessed the Shiites procession in the heart of Abuja without molestation on either side, the members and security agencies. But the series of attacks on the Shiite members was quite a disturbing scenario. There is too much of bloodshed by this Buhari-led government. Life is cheap in the eyes of President Buhari’s security men, but they know how to extract justice for their own.



As much as I appreciate the enormity of the selfless services of our security personnel, they ought to know when and where to draw the line. For a single soul declared missing, Major General Idris Alkali (retd), the army sent a whole contingent in search of his body, using sniffer dogs to compliment the effort of the searchers. They eventually saw the decomposing body and recovered it for befitting burial. That to me should underscore why the army should respect other Nigerians too when it comes to killings. The action of the army against the Shiites can only worsen an already bad situation in the country.



This was the same level of high-handedness with which late Mohammed Yusuf was reportedly handled and brutally killed in Maiduguri and the aftermath is the Boko Haram insurgency that has remained with us till date.



I am of the considered view that the language of engagement should not be by bullets and force; it should be through deliberate policy of using dialogue to address a number of the concerns raised by members of Shiites movement. Using force and raining bullets in exchange for stones or pebbles is to me an unconscious process of toughening the resolve of these persons who already carry wounds in their hearts following the continued incarceration of their leader, Ibrahim El Zakzakky. What government agents should do is to amongst other things, use dialogue and effective communication to interface with the members of IMN.



This present approach will turn out to be counterproductive. The mindless killings that took place in 2015 at Zaria has already eroded the confidence the Shiite members have with the security agencies especially the army. Added to this is the fact that their leader despite court order, has continued to remain in jail. This mutual distrust has its own telling impact on the perception level of an average Shiite member when they sight a soldier or any security personnel for that matter. But to use Trump’s analogy as a basis to endorse these killings is to miss the point outright.





The Army’s reference to that piece of news item was a complete gaffe. There should be no rationalisation for taking lives with the slightest provocation or the perception that there could be a breakdown of law and order when carrying out a procession. Again, members of Shiites are not migrants in Nigeria.

They are part and parcel of the Nigerian society, so comparing them with Donald Trump’s stone-throwing migrants is an error of judgement. President Buhari cannot wash himself clean from the guilt of these bloodlettings. There is too much of killings and blood in the last three and a half years.



Too many mass burials. It is blood everywhere. Hardly does a day passes by without one form of killing or the other. This has also heightened the state of insecurity in the country. There is too much monologue going on. Aside from Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who has gone grey from the pressure of speaking, all other governmental spokespersons are just speaking to themselves. They hardly communicate. When they try to make an impression, they end up with bogus lies and apparent contradictions.



A country aspiring to become like the Asian Tigers cannot get to the top if its moral fibre is telling signs of polarisation. Countries that desire to strike the right cord first and foremost, build the national consciousness and cohesion. Such countries have national vision and mission defined within the prism of collectivity.



In a country with defective security architecture or where nepotism has overtaken nationalism, symptoms of mutual mistrust and distrust will naturally define our sectional engagement and weaken the very foundation of our nationality and nationalism. We cannot turn our geographic space to a killing field or turn against ourselves.



As much as we appreciate the selfless intervention of our service men, to protect our territorial integrity, they have no business in using live ammunition to disperse crowd. The only reason why they are called soldiers is the fact that they have signed up their own death warrant on behalf of the people in difficult situations. This is why I always appreciate the untiring effort of the military at providing territorial protection and ensuring they combat insurgents even in terribly difficult situations. But to now turn against the hapless in the society is to erode that mutual confidence.







In the light of the ugly incidence of last week between the army and members of IMN, the army should simply apologise to Nigerians for such killings. It takes nothing away from their gallantry. We must help build confidence in a system that has become a playing ground for mutual suspicion. The military, police and the civil populace must build a symbiotic relationship that would engender the right synergy in delivering services for the good of the country.



They are not enemies occupying the same geopolitical space. Nigerians who are the taxpayers must see security personnel as partners in the collective project of building an egalitarian society. If Nigeria gets its functionality, it is to the overall good of everyone.



If it gets to dysfunctionality as we are presently experiencing, the nation as a whole suffers. It is for our collective good to arrest the present drift and set the tone for national healing. From Zamfara, Taraba, Kaduna, Plateau, Benue and the entire North- East, this blood is too much. We should stop irrigating our land with blood, we need water to purify our souls and cleanse our lands.

LONDON ARBAEEN 2018 - SOLIDARITY WITH SHEIKH ZAKZAKY & MARTYRS OF NIGERIAN ARMY MASSACRE

On 4th November 2018, Inminds human rights group along with the Islamic Human Rights Commission joined the London Arbaeen procession to show solidarity with those slaughtered by the Nigerian army last week, during the peaceful Arbaeen procession organised by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, and to demand freedom for their leader Sheikh Ibrahim el-Zakzaky, who has been illegally imprisoned since December 2015 despite the High Court of Nigeria demanding his release.

Arbaeen marks 40 days after the anniversary of the death of the Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Imam Hussain, over 1300 years ago. Imam Hussain, along with his family and companions were killed for refusing to pledge allegiance to the tyrant king of the time, Yazid. The stand Imam Hussain and his followers took became a symbol of resistance, inspiring future struggles against oppression and injustice.

Arbaeen is commemorated every year, around the world, remembering the sacrifice Imam Hussain made to uphold justice and oppose tyranny. In Nigeria, Arbaeen processions from all over the country converge on the capital Abuja climaxing in a huge rally in the centre of the city. Since 2015 they have been regularly targeted by Nigerian security forces but this year’s violence has reached a whole new order of magnitude with the army shooting dead 46 peaceful marchers and injuring over 110, and arresting hundreds more.

In December 2015 the Nigerian army massacred nearly a thousand followers of Sheikh Zakzaky including his sons, and abducted him and his wife. The army burnt the community's mosque to the ground and demolished their cemetery. The majority of deaths were caused by gunshots fired by soldiers. Some were reportedly burnt alive or hacked to death with machetes and knives. Reports also emerged of sexual violence by soldiers including cases of rape against women and children. A 14 years old girl told IHRC investigators that the military shot her in her private parts when she resisted attempts by soldiers to rape her. Others have had their breasts cut off. The soldiers mutilated the dead before hiding the bodies in mass graves, some of which were later discovered and exhumed under court order. The International Criminal Court is investigating the massacre for crimes against humanity.

The Islamic Human Rights Commission organised tables along the route of the London Arbaeen procession for people to sign letters to their MPs demanding action on the Nigerian governments disregard for the law and persecution of Sheikh Zakzaky and his movement. Hundreds of letters were signed and thousands more were taken away to be signed in local communities around the country.

Inminds chair Abbas Ali said "The best way to remember Iman Hussain is to follow his example of speaking truth to power, of standing against injustice. This is exactly what the marchers in Nigeria are doing despite facing the bullets of Buhari's military. The very least we in London can do on Arbaeen is show our solidarity with those who answered Imam Hussain's call and are following his path."

The Cowardly Nigerian Army Killing Shiites Because they are Unarmed:

One of the leaders of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, Sheikh Abdullahi Zango said:

“They continue to say that we are armed, this is a blatant lie. If we are armed, Nigeria army cannot face us."

“If we have weapons with us, Nigeria army is too small to face us. With our courage and brevity, with empty hands, they are running away from us talk less of when we have arms."

Exactly on 28th November, 2015, the leader of the #BokoHaram terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau, threatened Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and the Nigerian Shia community with Genocide. Two weeks later President Buhari brutally slaughtered 1000+ Shia infants, children, women and men in Zaria and wickedly dumped their dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. #ZariaGenocide

Since then the Nigerian army has made it a habit of fun to attack Shia programs and activities and slaughter innocent and defenseless Shia civilians. The Nigerian army is today a mercenary force of the savage Saudi regime. They are killing Nigerian Shia Muslims to please their Saudi Wahhabi masters. If the Shiites are armed the cowardly Nigerian army will not dare attack them and kill their women and children. Just last week the cowardly Nigerian army ordered by President Buhari opened fire with AK47 Assault Rifle on a Shia religious procession at Abuja and murdered more than 60 #Arbaeen mourners. Among those they killed were women and children. The cowardly Nigerian army then went ahead to use US President Trump Tweet to justify the brutal slaughter of innocent and defenseless civilians.

Throughout history true brave soldiers do not harm women, children and the unarmed. The First Shia Imam, Imam Ali (as), who is the bravest warrior Islam has produced has never killed a woman or a child or an unarmed civilian. Imam Ali (as) protected women and children with his life. This is true humanity and this is the Islam sent to Prophet Muhammad (sa).

After the cowardly Nigerian army brutally slaughtered innocent and defenseless Shia mourners in Zuba, they fraudulently claimed that the Shiites "attacked their convoy and wanted to cart away ammunition and missiles". What will Shiites do with the obsolete weapons of the Nigerian army? The Nigerian army is among the poorly equipped armies of the world. Their weapons are obsolete, outdated and archaic. The best place for them is the Museum. In broad daylight the highly educated and enlighten Shiites will cat away weapons with women and children in tow! Says the cowardly Nigerian army!

The murderous criminals and paid Saudi agents in Nigeria must understand that the Islamic Movement in Nigeria has powerful allies around the world. Yes, the Resistance Bloc is powerful today and the Islamic Movement is part of it. Weapons are never a problem to us. Weapons that are far more sophisticated than the obsolete toys that the cowardly Nigerian army are parading. The cowardly Nigerian army should be grateful to Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky who asked his millions of followers to remain peaceful. They should thank this innocent man they attacked and killed his six (6). If not.....

Today our youths do not fear the bullets of the cowardly Nigerian army. Even our children do not fear the cowardly Nigerian army. An army that is notorious in killing unarmed civilians is a disgrace to humanity. They murder women and children and they celebrate. Bloodthirsty cowards!

Invited guests, men of the press, good afternoon, I welcomed you all to this press conference.

This press conference is organize to update the public on grave atrocities and crimes committed by the Military and Nigerian Police and urge the public to dismiss the lies and blackmail being fabricated by the Buhari-led government, the Military and the Police.

The public will please recall that on the issue of Zaria Massacre and release of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H); in 2015, Buhari made mention that he is waiting for Kaduna JCI report, the report is out for more than 3 years and he did nothing. Similarly, during illegal detention of our leader in Abuja, Malami Abubakar Minister of Justice and Lai Muhammad, Minister of Information have been deceiving the public that Sheikh Zakzaky (H) is in protective custody and after 3 years of protective custody, then the Federal Government in collaboration with Kaduna State Government filed 8-count charges against the Sheikh at Kaduna High Court.

Moreover, if you could remember, during Zaria massacre, the Army lied that the followers of Sheikh Zakzaky blocked road and that is what led to the massacre, but later it was discovered that extending the attack to the resident of Sheikh Zakzaky (H), a very far distance from the place of incident revealed that it was not a road blockage, but a preplanned massacre. The Army also claimed to kill only 8 people during Zaria massacre, but it was later discovered that they killed more than 1,000. Even though they confess having killed 347 which they secretly burial at night in mass grave at Mando, Kaduna

If we go back to the Police lies, the public will please recall that in November, 2016 the Police killed more than 20 followers of Sheikh Zakzaky in Kano during 2016 Arbaeen Symbolic Trek and they admit the killing of 7. In similar attack in November, 2017, the Police killed more than 10, but they remained silent.

We do not need to mention the recent lies fabricated by the Military and Police against the followers of Sheikh Zakzaky that started from invasion of the Three Arm Zone, blocking road for vehicles conveying arms at Zuba axis, Snatching ASO Radio etc. The public should note that we have no intention of invading any place or attacking anybody. The Military and the Police attacked us while on the street protesting.

We thank the Public for giving the Military and Police well-deserved and objective responses and opinion on all these lies, because all these fabricated allegations are unable to justify the crime against humanity committed by the Military and Police against the followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) in Abuja.

I want to inform you that on Saturday, 3 November, 2018 Imrana Abdullahi, who is receiving treatment at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada due to injuries he sustained from the attack of the Military and the Police has pass away. This brings the number of the people killed by the Military and Police to 47. Moreover, presently 106 followers of Sheikh Zakzaky are receiving treatment of injuries at various hospitals in Abuja. Presently, more than Eight Million Naira has been spent in treating causalities and there is need for additional Twenty Five Million Naira to attend to other causalities.

Likewise, more than 1,000 people got missing, 156 were detained by the Police in various prison.

We thank the public for their objective responses concerning illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and we also need the support of everybody in ensuring the release of the Sheikh and his wife.

While mourning the passing away of our brothers and sisters, we will continue to protest and our demand is simple and clear that is unconditional release of our leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H).

"Troops of Army Headquarters Garrison on official duty escorting ammunitions and missiles from Abuja to Army Central Ammunition Depot in Kaduna State were attacked by some members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) sect at Zuba bridge, of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at about 3.00pm on Saturday 27th October 2018."

Dear Friends, how can unarmed peaceful civilians of mourning procession attacked Heavily-armed Troops with guns, bombs and missiles? Are they mad to attack Heavily-armed soldiers who are bloodthirsty and notorious Child-killers? Allegations should be sensible and what the free mind will accept but who will accept this fraudulent propaganda that is part of the Saudi-sponsored #ShiaGenocide agenda in Nigeria?

"Unfortunately, during the encounter 3 members of the sect were killed while 2 soldiers sustained various degrees of injuries and are being treated at a military medical facility."

The use of the word "Unfortunately" is the peak of deception by these murderous agents of imperialism that has the Savage Saudi regime as front. It was never unfortunate to them, it was pre-planned and Premeditated to slaughter defenseless civilians to please their bloodthirsty Saudi masters. There was no single arrest, it was shoot to kill.

The videos of the massive sound of gunfire has gone viral. Please if you have not seen those videos look for it. It was as if the army was fighting against Heavily-armed opposition. At Least 10 Shia Muslims Killed by Buhari terrorist army:

The casualty figure would have been more higher if not for the tactical manoeuvring of the peaceful mourners. Those killed were those that protected children and women from the rain of Buhari bullets and led them to safety. They planned a massacre.

The trigger happy Nigerian army is notorious in running away from BokoHaram terrorists but they are notorious in slaughtering peaceful and defenseless Shia mourners.

At least 10 killed as Army Fires on Religious Procession at Zuba, Abuja

-Islamic Movement in Nigeria

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has confirmed the killing of at least ten of its members at Zuba, in the outskirts of Abuja by some soldiers of the Nigerian Army, today Saturday, 27/10/2018, who were in a peaceful religious procession of Arba’een from Suleja.

The army went away with the corpse of three of the victims, one of the victim’s corpse has been identified as Abdul’aziz Maigana, who until his demise was with the members of the Islamic Movement in Suleja.

In a press statement released by Ibrahim Musa, the President Media Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, the Movement vehemently condemned the action of the security agents, as “unwarranted, since the march has been peaceful."

The statement further added, "In fact it was being rounded up for the day, when soldiers opened fire on the peaceful marchers without any provocation whatsoever.”

“The fact that a similar Arba’een march was conducted in Kano along the Kano-Zaria highway for two days without any incident, is enough a pointer to the peaceful nature of the annual religious rites. Similar Arba’een mourning processions are currently ongoing in Katsina and Kaduna states without any incident,” according to the press statement.

The Islamic Movement then cautioned the security agents to stop harassing its members, “since today is just the beginning of the peaceful mourning march on foot, and it is expected that more people may join the mass peaceful march, which will culminate in the grand Arba’een day, to be marked on Tuesday, 30 October, 2018, the same day it would be commemorated worldwide.”

“If the security agents are trigger happy, then they should save their arms and bullets to other parts of the country engulfed in violence, but not on peaceful marchers carrying no arms with them,” according to the press statement.

Govt Plots Ways To Stall Possible Court Granting Bail To Sheikh Zakzaky

Reports reaching us from very reliable sources indicate that the government of President Buhari is sweating it out on how best they could avert a potential granting of bail to ailing Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife by the Kaduna state high court.

These high level schemes are being discussed and they are leaving no stone unturned to see that the Judge doesn’t deliver his ruling on the bail application entered by the Sheikh’s lawyers led by Mr Femi Falana SAN.

In the last two court sessions, flimsy excuses were adduced as to why the Sheikh was not even presented in court. At one point, the judge was knocked down by a tricycle, which prevented him from making it to the court. During the last session however, it was on the pretence of not having enough security men because of the visit of the Vice president that they claimed stopped them from bringing the Sheikh to court.

According to our sources, they would do all within their powers to stop the court session from holding on the scheduled date of 7th November, 2018 when it is expected the judge will deliver his ruling.

The source continued that it is the thinking in the Presidency that they couldn’t trust the court to deliver a judgement favourable to them, seeing how previous cases involving the Sheikh or members of the Islamic Movement in Abuja and Kaduna all went in favour of the Sheikh and his Movement.

The Presidency was quoted as saying, “should we fold our hands and allow the court to grant this man bail, we would be finished.” The source had noted that the Presidency has said that governor Elrufai has woefully failed to use rival groups to either distract them or destabilize them completely.

Part of the new plots involve using the season of Arbaeen and cause confusion within the Movement and then use that as an excuse not to bring the Sheikh to court. Details of how they were going to use this isn’t clear at the moment.

However, they are working on leveraging on the current security challenges in the state to proffer as a reason for the court not to sit at all. Their operatives have been detailed to escalate the situation in the state for that purpose.

Another option they hope to utilize is using the expected labour strike over new minimum wage demand scheduled to commence on the 6th of November, 2018 a day before the expected appearance of the Sheikh in court for the ruling.

It will be recalled that Sheikh Zakzaky is being held for the past three years now, mostly incommunicado, and against a two-year judgement of a federal high court that ordered for his unconditional release and a compensation. The government has defiantly held on to him in contempt and rather charged him to court on framed up charges, and has taken all steps to stall further progress of the case so as to continue to hold on to him indefinitely.

I must commend the Concern Nigerians @ConcernedNIG group and it Convener @adeyanjudeji for organizing a peaceful protest today to the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Maitama, Abuja to demand #JusticeForJamal.

#KhashoggiMurder was brutal, inhuman and barbaric to say the least. They beat him up then tortured him and sliced him like bread while he was still alive.

I want to remind the Concern Nigerians group that a bigger #Khashoggi is going on in #Yemen for the past 3 years by the same gang that murdered Khashoggi. Elrufa’i tampering with evidence, digs another mass grave at Mando site

It has come to the notice of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria that the Governor of Kaduna state, Nasiru Elrufa’i, has on Monday, 22/10/18 ordered for the mass burial of a large number of people presumably killed during the recent mayhem at Kasuwan Magani, Kaduna at the Mando site of an earlier mass grave he buried at least 347 members of the Islamic Movement.

We unequivocally condemn this clear attempt at tampering with evidence by the Kaduna state government desperately out trying to obliterate this invaluable crime scene perpetrated by his government, when in the midnight of 16/12/15, the same government buried 347 people it killed in Zaria during the Nigerian Army’s brutal assault on Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and members of the Islamic Movement, resulting in the death of over a thousand civilian citizens.

Secondly, we condemn even the idea by the Kaduna state government to hurriedly bury victims of the recent utterly senseless mayhem in parts of Kaduna in mass grave, at a time it imposed a 24-hour curfew without allowing relatives of victims identify their loved ones for a more befitting burial. This is an open show of complete disregard to human lives by the Kaduna state government.

We strongly believe that this recent hasty mass burial is another attempt by the Elrufai’s government to sweep under the carpet the atrocities committed by some religious and ethnic bigots involved in the avoidable killings at Kasuwan Magani and Kaduna metropolis in the same way it did with the first mass grave.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria wishes to draw the attention of Kaduna state citizens and other well-meaning Nigerians to the fact that the entire ruse by Governor Elrufai about convicting the criminals that planned and orchestrated the recent crisis in Kaduna is full of deceit, since the evidence admissible in any court has been buried. It bears a striking resemblance to his government's stubborn refusal to arrest and prosecute the soldiers involved in the Zaria genocide of December 2015, even after a Judicial Commission of Inquiry found them culpable.

We therefore call on the international community, Human Rights Organizations and the general public to closely watch the Mando site of mass graves to prevent tempering with the evidence of crime perpetrated against humanity under any guise.
