*Desperate moves by DSS to link IMN to violence*

Last Friday, the Department of State Services (DSS), on Friday issued a statement that they uncovered plans by Boko Haram to attack Abuja and some northern cities like Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna and Maiduguri by infiltrating what they termed the ranks of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN). According to this malicious report, terrorists would join IMN members in their procession and unleash mayhem in the cities.
 

IMN finds this statement by DSS to be quite ridiculous. First, this is an unintelligent overused storyline aimed at unleashing mayhem on innocent civilians and attributing it to other people. In this case, the DSS had wanted to plant explosives in the aforementioned places and then make the claim that Boko Haram had infiltrated our ranks. This was exactly what they did a few days before the Zaria massacre In November, 2015, when they sent two suicide bombers to detonate their lethal load in the Kano axis of that year's Arba'een trek. It resulted in the death of scores of our members. It will be recalled that DSS had earlier similarly issued a warning that they were aware of plots to detonate explosives in places of worship in Abuja, Kaduna and Kano. Thus, it is nothing new. DSS would be held responsible should explosives go off anywhere and it has nothing to do with IMN.

Secondly, if it were true that they have intelligence reports that a certain group intends to cause mayhem, and it was not their plot, they should have simply rounded them up and arrested them, thereby avoiding the unnecessary waste of civilian lives.

We have not forgotten how in the immediate period before the gruesome Zaria attacks of December 12, 2015 the so called Boko Haram announced their plan to exterminate members of IMN. We are all witnesses to what followed that announcement - the senseless and unjustified massive attacks on leader, members and properties of IMN as started by Nigerian army.

It is in this light that we view the present statement by the DSS to mean that they still want to further massively shed blood of innocent citizens. Thus, rather than use Boko Haram as a bait, they should have been bold enough to say they will infiltrate our peaceful processions to cause mayhem on the general public.

This is what they did in Kaduna on Friday, 23/06/17, when plain cloth security agents pretending to be thugs collaborated with soldiers and police and attacked the International Quds day procession in Kaduna metropolis. Clearly, Federal Government is playing the Boko Haram card to attack us. Friday's (23/6/2017) attack was in broad daylight with many witnesses among whom were non-Muslim observers, human rights activists and other non- partisan witnesses.

It is shameful that explanations and excuses for the attack should come from the Army spokesman from 1 Mechanized Division, Col. Umoh. What brought the military in a purely civil matter except that the DSS had set the tone as they have done in the past as a prelude to attack us? The military spokesman even suggested that we were attacked by Kasuwan Barci community and they only came in to restore peace! indeed we were not attacked by any community. We are very much part of that community. We have stalls in the market and we are fully socialized with other members of that market community. The attack therefore has nothing to do with the market community. The thugs in display and action yesterday were 'imported' by the military/police coalition against us and were brought in police vehicles and their funding is from Kaduna state government.

What further gave them away in the sinister plot was when the DSS operative, Tony Opuiyo also warned members of the IMN to "desist from carrying out any form of demonstration as the terrorists will make use of the opportunity for their attacks."

 We have seen all these before. Last year October 2016, during the annual Ashura procession, we were similarly attacked by the same coalition. It was clearly demonstrated that the thugs were even ferried in police vehicles. Was it any community too that did that?

The authorities had always sought to portray the belief that we are being attacked by the public. This has not been successful till this day. Was it the public that possess tear gas and live bullets and the military and police trucks used in the attacks? Was the community also responsible for the arrest of our members?

Finally, we wish to draw the attention of the world, and Nigerians in particular, to the fact that we remain committed to peaceful and legal pursuits of our rights. No amount of blackmail or intimidation would deter us. We reiterate our call for the immediate and unconditional release of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and all those being unjustifiably held in Kaduna prison and other undisclosed detention  centres.

Two days ago the notorious Nigerian Secret Police (SSS) that is the oppressive tool of the Nigerian tyrant Buhari released a report that contained the statement below:

Then yesterday (23/6/2017) during the peaceful International #QudsDay Rally in Kaduna, "BokoHaram" attacked the Rally. Prominent Nigerian activists Deji Adeyanji and Ebenezer Oyetakin (both Christians) were physically present at the Rally and they saw heavily-armed Soldiers and Police shooting at peaceful protesters that included thousands of women and children. Activists Deji Adeyanju and Ebenezer Oyetakin saw the "BokoHaram" that the Nigerian Secret Police warned against.

Nigerians should remember that exactly on 27th November, 2015 BokoHaram released a video threatening a prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, and the peaceful Nigerian Shia community with genocide. Two weeks after this threat President Buhari brutally slaughtered 1000+ Shia civilians in Zaria and wickedly dumped their dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. After that inhuman monumental savagery and barbarism, President Buhari and his gang of mass murderers launched massive campaigns of calumny and demonization against Sheikh Zakzaky and Shia Islam.

The same President Buhari recently financially empowered BokoHaram by giving them 2.6 million Euros under the pretext of #ChibokGirls exchange. BokoHaram used part of that money to open a Radio station and more weapons to bomb and kill innocent Nigerians. When the Chibok girls were released Nigerians were Shocked to see them super healthy and well fed with no single sign of captivity.

The International Quds Day rallies were conducted in more than 20 cities and towns across Nigeria including towns in the BokoHaram ravaged North East and they all ended up peacefully with only Kaduna as the exception. I watched the Minister Information and Culture Lai (aka Lie) Mohammed's 'Politics Today' interview with Seun Okinbaloye of Channels Television a few days ago and I felt sorry for Nigeria.

I couldn't help wondering why Channels Television keeps offering its respected platform to this shameless old fool to beam, broadcast and perpetuate unadulterated falsehood to the Nigerian people and to tell specious lies. The whole thing is simply incredulous.

During the course of that interview he told one big lie after the other with such ease and without batting an eyelid. I really do wonder how this man sleeps at night. I guess such things come naturally to him.

I look at his face and all I see is an unconsciable and relentless shit projector and sewage propeller.

He reminds me of one of those filth-ridden open gutters in India's City of Mumbai: all manner of unprintable and disgusting things flow in and through it for all to smell and see.

Everything about him, including how he looks, what he says, what he wears and how he talks stinks to high heavens.

Like Donald Trump once said about a notorious Mexican drug lord, "this dude is a bad hombre!"

He is the kind of person that would pass a lie detector test with flying colours over and over again simply because lying is his nature. He is posessed by what the bible graphically and aptly describes as a "lying spirit".

The first salvo of lies that he told us during the course of the interview was that Sheik El Zak Zaky, the leader of the Shiite Muslim community in Nigeria, was being kept in a guest house with his family and that he was not in government custody.

He went on to contradict himself by saying that the Federal Government was keeping him in custody only because they were building him a brand new house that he would move into later and that the difficulty that they had was that no-one wanted to be his neighbour!

Finally he said that the courts had said that the Sheik must not be released until that brand new house had been built for him.

Needless to say, all three assertions are false. They are nothing but dirty and desperate lies, cooked up to justify the governments disgraceful and indefensible behaviour towards El Zak Zaky, his family and the Shiite Muslims of Nigeria.

The truth is that firstly El Zak Zaky and his family are NOT being kept in a private guest house and both he and his wife most certainly are in government custody.

They have both been badly wounded, they are in the custody of the DSS and, for just under the last two years, they have been held at the DSS Headquarters in Abuja.

Their lawyers and doctors have little access to them but once in a while they are shipped to a secret government safe house for a short impromptu meeting with a handful of family members.

Secondly the Federal Government is NOT building a house for El Zak Zaky and even if they were this should not be a reason to keep him in indefinate and illegal custody and detention.

Thirdly the courts gave El Zak Zaky and his wife an order for unconditional release from the custody of the security agencies and his release order was not conditional on the government first building him a new house as Lie has suggested.

The truth is that the man and his wife have both been kept in illegal detention for almost two years, against their will and in total violation of all court orders.

Worst still throughout that period they have not been brought physically or produced by the intelligence agencies before any court of law.

El Zak Zaky was shot and blinded in one eye by the military whilst his wife was shot four times in the stomach at the time that his home was attacked and they were both abducted.

Over one thousand of his Shiite Muslim supporters were murdered that day and their homes were shelled, bombed and burnt to the ground. Since then both the man and his wife have been locked up in dingy underground cells and have been subjected to the most inhuman and barbarous form of pyschological and mental torture.

These are facts that Lie refused to acknowledge in his interview and that the government that he serves seek to hide from both the Nigerian public and the international community.

Lie also lied about Col. Sambo Dasuki the former National Security Advisor to President Goodluck Jonathan. He said that Dasuki was being detained indefinately because he would pose a threat to the Federal Government and to national security if he was released.

He went further to say that Dasuki had stolen 1.3 billion USD and that the government would not release him until that money was returned despite court orders to the contrary.

He did not tell us where the 1.3 billion USD was stolen from, he did not tell us whether it was stolen in cash, by cheque, by bank drart or by transfer and he did not tell us how he stole it. All he did was pick a figure from the sky and drop it.

He also said that as far as the government was concerned national security considerations were more important than court orders and that even though the courts had ordered Dasuki's relese on several occassions the government would continue to ignore such orders because they believe that he poses a threat to national security.

The fact that it is unlawful to disregard court orders in Nigeria had no bearing on Lie. The fact that there is no law and no constitutional basis or justification to keep Dasuki in detention against court orders is immaterial to him and to the government that he serves.

The fact that the allegation that he stole 1.3 billion USD is not only utterly absurd but also has no basis in truth or reality is neither here nor there to this wicked man and to those he represents.

The fact that Dasuki poses no threat whatsover to anyone, least of all the Federal Government, matters less to this strange, conflicted and inexplicable creature that calls himself the Minister of Information and Culture.

The fact that locking up a man illegally and indefinately, depriving him of his constitutional rights and freedom, denying his lawyers and doctors full access to him, traumatising his family and friends, putting his stunningly beautiful and deeply courageous wife Bintu through hell, refusing to allow him to attend his aged father's burial and denying him the right to be in a position to prepare a proper legal defence for himself against his detractors and accusers in court means absolutely nothing to this pernicious liar.

No matter how low the government goes and no matter how barbaric, illegal and heartless their actions are in terms of the violation of civil liberties and human rights, Lie has proved over and over again that he is prepared to go on Channels television or anywhere else to defend them.

I am convinced that if Buhari ordered for the gassing to death or burning alive of every single opposition figure and their family members together with all his other perceived enemies, Lie would gladly attempt to justify and defend it and Channels television would be only too happy to accomodate him and grant him the platform to do so.

Worse still he is prepared to defend the consistently aberrant, cruel, wicked, deviant and ungodly behaviour of the government that he serves with nothing less than the most bombastic and obvious lies, wholesale mendacities, false accusations, malicious fabrications and notorious and skewered half truths.

He has no conscience, no feeling, no empathy for his victims, no compassion, no mercy and no milk of human kindness.

One wonders if a man that is prepared to treat others so unjustly and defend it publicly can ever make it to heaven? One wonders whether they believe in God and if so whether they have any fear of Him.

It is clear to me that somewhere in the equation madness has crept into Lie's confused and irreverant physche. He deserves to be pitied and, more importantly, he needs a lot of help and prayer. The sleazy job that he has been doing for the last two years has taken its toll and has got the better of him.

27 years ago when I first met Lie he used to be an absolute gentleman. We watched the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed with dismay and anger on Channels TV as he tried to justify the continuous and unlawful detention of Sheik Zakzaky and his wife.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed said that sheik Zakzaky and his wife are not being detained or in custody of the police or DSS but in a home built by this government. This assertion by Minister of Information is not only false but unacceptable to all well meaning Nigerians and an insult to our collective sensibility.

You'd recall that over 1000 shittes were killed by government forces in Zaria back in 2015 and till date no one is on trial. The sheik and his wife have been denied access to his immediate and extended family, his lawyers and members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) who are his immediate constituent. How can the Minister of Information say the Sheik and his wife are living in a house built by this government and no member of his immediate family, his lawyers or IMN members have been allowed to visit him in that house?

Information available to us suggests that Sheik Zakzaky and his wife are still in DSS custody and have remained there ever since their arrest in December 2015.

It is not true that no Nigerian is willing to be a neighbor to Sheik zakzaky or accept him.

We are willing and ready to accept Zakzaky as neighbor. Infact our Kaduna state coordinator and members both in Kaduna city and Zaria are ready to house Zakzaky and his wife and support their reintegration into the society. We are also willing and ready to provide accommodation for Zakzaky and his wife pending his permanent reintegration.

We are therefore appealing to the federal government to release sheik Zakzaky and his wife to us and end his unlawful and illegal prolonged incaceration. This government must remember that the world is watching and that it has the worst human rights violation record in the history of our country.

The penchant for lies and false propaganda by the Nigerian Information Minister, Lia Mohammed, is legendary. This is expected from a clueless government that woefully failed to record a single achievement in two years of existence. When President Buhari went for his 50+ days medical tourism to London, Mr. Lia Mohammed lied to Nigerians that "President Buhari is hale and healthy". When the Minister of Information last week stated another compound lie that the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), His Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, does not have any Nigerian that want to be his neighbor, Nigerians were shocked.

The compound lie of Mr. Lia Mohammed prompted a prominent Nigerian activist, Dr. John Danfulani (a Christian) to conduct an online poll on his Twitter Handle with the question:"Who do you prefer as your neighbor?". Two options were given, Alh Lia Mohammed and Sheikh Zakzaky. Sheikh Zakzaky resoundingly won with 73% of the total votes by Nigerians while the Information Minister got 27% votes.

In December 2015 President Buhari sent heavily-armed Soldiers to Zaria city in Northern Nigeria and they brutally slaughtered more than one thousand innocent Nigerian civilians and wickedly dumped their dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. This monumental savagery and barbarism attracted international condemnation and Nigerians call for prosecution of the murderous criminals that perpetrated this inhumanity. For 553 Days today the Nigerian government has failed to prosecute a single person. Those the Nigerian government are holding in illegal detention and prosecuting are the lucky survivors with gunshot wounds and most of them had lost loved ones to this state-sponsored genocide by the Buhari administration.

Buhari Regime: Wretched Economy, Monumental Lies

It is no longer news anywhere that this Buhari regime is a big, fat failure that has everything a government needs but focus and direction. Nobody has any idea where the government is heading to. Everything about the government is based on false narrations and executive lies.

It is such that almost everything the government tells the public is a lie meant to deceive the people and sway them into seeing it as a responsible government. Everything the government says is practically different from what is obtainable and what the generality of the people see.

This is a government under which inflation has risen by over 150% since they assumed power. More people are losing their jobs and are living in abject poverty without any sign of hope anywhere. Nigerians are now living on the brink of a precipice with more and more people expressing dissatisfaction with the government in various ways.

The most recent lie by the regime was revealed by the Information Minister, Mr. Lai Muhammed, where he claimed that the Nigerian government’s illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky was as a result of nobody wanting the honorable Sheikh to be his neighbor and that they have not been able to build a house for him. He also added that he is not being kept in detention but is in a house with his family.

He was so generous with his lies that he claimed that the government has the right to continue to detain the revered Sheikh because it has appealed against the court’s decision ordering his unconditional release.

In the first place, I, as a Nigerian that is even more Nigerian than the Minister because I am Hausa-Yoruba by tribe while he belongs to only one tribe, will be most honored to have Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky as my neighbor both in this world and in the hereafter and so do millions of Nigerians including Christians and non-Hausas that don’t share the same religion or culture with the Sheikh. One wonders where the Minister got the idea that nobody wants him as a neighbor. He is acting like a shameless liar.

The Sheikh, prior to the Buhari regime’s attack on him had lived in his Gyallesu residence in Zaria for over 20 years without any form of complaint by anybody against him. He was shelter to even victims of 2011 post-election crises where Buhari’s supporters went on rampage killing PDP members and non-Muslims because their hero lost election. He had supported residents of the quarters socially, economically, medically and security wise in various ways.

This was how peaceful he had lived with the his neighbors until the Buhari regime launched a killing spree on the Sheikh and his followers in December 2015, murdering over 1000 unarmed women, children and men as they headed towards exterminating the revered Sheikh and his family.

It was the Nigerian Army with President Buhari as the Commander-in-Chief that launched the terror attack on the Sheikh and his followers where they murdered three sons of the Sheikh in his presence shot his wife severally in the womb and also shot the Sheikh severally and even celebrated killing him and not anyone else.

This same Army went and attacked the Islamic Center of the revered Sheikh and killed everyone they found there. They also attacked the tombs of members of the Movement, the tomb of the Sheikh mother, the residence of the Sheikh where they destroyed his library with over 20,000 books, molested the holy Quran and other Islamic literatures and even stole donation monies.

They made heaps of corpses of those innocent people they murdered, took them to unknown locations and mass buried them at night with some of them still alive begging to be killed before they were buried. It was later that they decided to reveal one of the mass graves at Mando village near Kaduna.

Finally, the Buhari regime took the Sheikh into illegal detention denying him all his constitutional rights to freedom as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It is also the same regime that is claiming, even in court, that they are keeping him in protective custody on his demand. When the judge threatened bringing him to court to testify that it was with his consent that he is being detained as falsely claimed by the government’s counsels withdrew the statement because the government hypocritically wanted him to remain incommunicado.

In fact they don’t even feed him or provide him with essential needs as he is left to cater for himself. He cloths himself, he buys fuel for the generator and also pays the electricity and water bills of the house they are illegally detaining him as revealed by those who saw him recently.

Despite the lies by the Information Minister to Nigerians that the Sheikh is not being detained, the government has practically defied protests by millions of Nigerians that it should obey court order, the government has refused to even allow him to seek necessary medical attention as he slowly loses one of the eyes in which the regime’s killer machine shot him during their terror attack.

As practically displayed, it is the Buhari regime that is a threat to the Sheikh’s life and no one else. They are the ones that attacked him inflicted injuries on him and his wife, killed three of his sons, killed over 1000 of his followers burning some of them alive and even fabricating lies after lies in defendceof their dirty actions and no one else.

Secondly, who in Nigeria or anywhere else would ever believe that the Nigerian government cannot provide a house for the Sheikh as ordered by the court?

In fact the Federal High Court Abuja ordered that the Sheikh should be provided a house in a state of his choice within the north of the country. His landed properties where his house was demolished is still there, where his Hudiniyya Baqiyyatullah Islamic Center was demolished, where his Fudiyya Islamic Center was demolished, where his Darur Rahma was demolished are all there, what else is the government waiting for? How much would it have cost the Nigerian government to have built a house seven months after the court order today if not for the lies of Mr. Lai?

Lastly, the Minister crash-landed that the government has appealed the judgment of the court that ordered the unconditional release of the Sheikh, providing him with a house in any state of his choice in northern Nigeria, assigning a police officer not below the rank of AIG to escort him to the house, providing him with police protection until there is no more threat to his life and also paying him and his wife N50m as damages for violating their rights.

By law, their appealing the judgment of the court does not in any way stop them from obeying the court. The court’s judgment still stands. This is so because, for any judgment to be shelved aside pending the decision of the appellant court there must be a stay-in-judgment and in this case there is nothing like that. Hence, the government is disrespecting the court and disobeying the Nigerian Constitution thereby acting in what is legally described as Contempt of Court. This is a big disgrace to a democratic government because it is a feature of a military junta and dictatorship.

Stop the lies! Stop deceiving the public! Obey Court Order! Free Sheikh Zakzaky!

Important Questions on #BokoHaram by Prof. Ahmad Isah Harun

Before some northern groups give Igbos an ultimatum to leave the north, they suppose to end boko haram project which seem to be stage-managed by some beneficiaries that seem to include military officials, governor, Emirs in Maiduguri, politicians in Maiduguri, and some perceived rich men in Maiduguri. The northern groups suppose to travel to Maiduguri (if they can) to assess certain facts, so that they will understand the shareholders in boko haram project. Before I list my observations, I want you to understand that I am not a victim of the press and so my observations are based on the true situation in Maiduguri which i assessed from my visits to University of Maiduguri three times in three academic sessions (2014/2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 academic sessions) . My observations are as follows :

A. The governor is busy buying the houses and properties of the terrorized citizens inside Maiduguri with virtually no effort towards helping the helpless but injecting political thugs into civilian JTF in order to serve him and not the people of Maiduguri.

B. The military officials have taken over all trades of cows, sheep, donkeys and other foodstuff as only their agent's truckloads are allow to pass road blocks unhindered and also truckloads of their accomplices, otherwise the truckloads of ordinary citizens will be attacked by boko haram. So how is the defeated boko haram differentiate between which truckloads to attack? So by implication, citizens of Maiduguri are deprived of their normal trading activities. Are they military officials in Maiduguri to seize trade or fight insurgency?

C. Why were the military commanded to stop fighting when they get closer to sambisa for two weeks, and when they were commanded to continue later, they entered sambisa and met no boko haram fighters but only women and children and yet claim victory? Why were the press busy telling lies about this? Who stopped the military for two weeks to give room for boko haram fighters to leave sambisa camp?

D. Why are the Emirs, governor, politicians and other rich men inside Maiduguri silent about these dastard developments? Who created communication gap between the realities in Maiduguri and other parts of Nigeria? And yet government have being pumping money to military officials to curb insurgency without accountability.

E. Are the military collecting their correct salaries and allowances as and when due? There were records of protest by the wives of young military officers about non payment of allowance. So who is causing danger to the lives of the actual soldiers fighting in the field? How could the perceived defeated boko haram put military on the defensive ?

F. It is a common Knowledge that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (former Vice President) with cooperation of Adamawa State government, single handedly hired local hunters to deal with boko haram issue in Adamawa State , and they succeeded in liberating Adamawa State from the grip of insurgency. How many rich men like Atiku Abubakar do they have in Maiduguri, and what is wrong with them and the Borno State governor that they could not do same? Just one reason: they are accomplices and also beneficiaries from the boko haram project.

G. I was in University of Maiduguri on Wednesday (8th June, 2017) when boko haram launched an attack on Maiduguri city around 6-6:30pm and they exchanged fire with military and later ran away in the usual dramatic way. This attack coincided with the visit of the Acting President that is scheduled to visit Maiduguri on Thursday (8th June, 2017). Is this not a stage-managed attack to compel the Acting President to release more money for the a stage-managed crisis? Why is money so important at the expense of innocent human lives? Who told boko haram that the Acting President is coming? And how could there be a security break barely 24hours to the visit of the Acting President and yet no one is held responsible for that? Is this not a classical vendetta against the sovereignty of Nigeria?

So from the foregoing, you could see that there is more work to do in the north than chasing Igbos out of the north. This can be achieved by mounting pressure on the government to remove the governor of Borno State, remove the military officials and summon them and other accomplices to justice without fear or favor. And finally declare State of emergency in Borno State to protect the citizens of Borno State. The boko haram will disappear by itself. This seem to be the only available option, rather than wasting time and indirectly helping sponsors of Kanu to achieve their dreams.

THAT LIE BY LAI ON THE DETENTION OF SHEIKH ZAKZAKY IS REPUGNANT

Of recent Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the information Minister has played the security card as the reason for the continued incarceration of our leader, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. For him, who lays claim to being a lawyer, to snub and insult the good conscience of Nigerians in this way is not only disappointing but also shameless, reprehensible and deeply repugnant.

We will like to draw the attention of the good people of Nigeria to the fact that flaunting the security issues and national interest as the reason behind the trampling of the fundamental human rights of any Nigerian is like saying that the Nigerian State Security (Detention of Persons) Decree No. 2 of 1984 which allowed for indefinite and incommunicado detention of Nigerian citizens- is still in operation, even though it was repealed in 1998 by Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar. The sooner Nigerians stand up against this brazen insult on our collective intelligence, the better, because the Minister is simply telling us before our own eyes that this Buhari administration has ousted court jurisdiction with immediate effect.
We believe it is the continued disregard being shown to the courts of the land that will breed national insecurity, not the other way round. No individual or government official is above the law. Acting above the law irreparably destroys the judicial system and is in itself an act that is a grave risk to national security. It is the law and courts that guarantee and protect the security of individuals and the State.
It is therefore surprising and disheartening that Acting president, Professor and Attorney Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, is presiding over the affairs of the nation in a time like this and involved in the flouting of court orders in what constitutes potentially grave crimes against humanity.

Maybe the government appears to have no one strong reason for their actions. That is why some of its high ranking officials will play the security card today, others talk of protective custody, and some others talk of appeal on the judgment freeing Sheikh Zakzaky from the custody of the DSS.

The present administration should not forget that those who have all been reportedly involved in government massacres and mass burial cover-up attempts the December, 2015 pogrom in Zaria are well known and documented. It beats the imagination of people of conscience that instead of the government to genuinely look for ways to do justice on the matter, which should begin by freeing the number one victim of Zaria massacre Sheikh Zakzaky, it is playing the ostrich.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) demand a public apology from the federal government for the actions of its overzealous public officers who have publicly denigrated the rule of law by saying that the valid and subsisting orders of competent courts for the release of Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife would not be obeyed by the federal government.

We do once again unequivocally urge the Acting President to direct the State Security Services to release Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife from further incarceration in compliance with the orders of the federal high court.

*The Islamic Movement in Nigeria Condemns the Terrorist Attacks in Tehran*

The day 08/06/17 was another sad day in the comity of nations, when some unscrupulous people staged a terrorist attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran, killing a dozen people and injuring many. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria deeply feels the sorrow inflicted on the Iranian nation in particular and the world in general. We strongly condemn it in the strongest terms as it smacks of mischief from other antagonistic foreign powers in the region and beyond.

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has all along been against any form of terrorism be it from individuals, groups or nation states. It is even more reprehensible if it is against a peace loving nation like Iran that has consistently been in support of justice against injustice and oppression worldwide. It is with this in mind that we reject the twitter comments made by the American President Mr. Trump on the twin Tehran attack. It beats imagination that the Mr. Trump will end up blaming the victim on these senseless terrorist attacks.

Our leader, Sheikh Zakzaky has been in the forefront denouncing terror attacks, drawing the attention of the world that it is an exercise meant to tarnish the good teachings of Islam in the eyes of the world. Islam has never preached violence and will never condone it.

We will like to use this opportunity to commiserate with the leader of the Islamic revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on this unfortunate incident that happened in the glorious month of Ramadan, which is the first of its kind of recent in Iranian soil that was claimed by the so called terrorist organization ISIS.
IMN is solidly behind you in your hour of need with prayers to the Almighty Allah to expose the treacherous elements that plotted this evil plot. May Allah accept the martyrdom of those killed in the vicious attacks.

Islam:The Christian King Who Saved Early Muslims

As the number of the Prophet's followers increased so the enemies of the Muslims grew more and more angry. At last some of the Muslims decided to go to another country in order to live in peace. It was only five years since the Archangel Gabriel had first come to the Prophet (pbuh) and two years since the Prophet (pbuh) had spoken out in public. The Muslims asked the Prophet (pbuh) to allow them to leave Mecca. He agreed, saying 'It would be better for you to go to Abyssinia. The king there is a just man and it is a friendly country. Stay there until Allah makes it possible for you to return. The Muslims prepared for the journey. They decided to wait until night so that they could leave without being seen. The first sixteen left Mecca and, after reaching the shore of die Red Sea, crossed over to Abyssinia. Another eighty-three men and nineteen women followed, all hoping to be welcomed by the king and people of that country. This was the first hijrah, or migration, in Islam.

The Meccans were furious when they discovered that these Muslims had secretly left the city for among them were the sons and daughters of many of the leading families of Mecca. The anger of the Meccans was even greater when they found out that the Muslims had been warmly welcomed in Abyssinia. The leaders of Quraysh decided to send two men to the Abyssinian king in hopes of persuading him to send the Muslims back. These were 'Amr ibn al-'As, a very clever speaker, and „Abd Allah ibn abi Rabi‟ah. Before they met this king, they gave each of his advisers a gift, saying: 'Some foolish men from our people have come to hide in your country. Our leaders have sent us to your ruler to persuade him to send them back, so when we speak to the king about them, do advise him to give them up to us.' The advisers agreed to do what the Meccans wished.

Amr ibn al-'As and 'Abd Allah ibn abi Rabi'ah then went to the king and presented him also with a gift, saying: 'Your Highness, these people have abandoned the religion we have always followed in Mecca, but they have not even become Christians like you.' The royal advisers, who were also present, told the king that the Meccans had spoken the truth and that he should send the Muslims back to their own people. At this, the king became angry and said, 'No, by God, I will not give them up. Those who have come to ask for my protection, settled in my country, and chosen me rather than others, shall not be betrayed. I will summon them and ask them about what these two men have said. If the Muslims are as the Meccans say, I will give them up and send them back to their own people, but if the Meccans have lied I will protect the Muslims.' 'Amr was very
upset by this for the last thing he wanted was for the king to hear what the Muslims had to say. The king then sent for the Muslims. When they entered, they did not kneel before him as was the custom of the Abyssinians. 'Why do you not kneel before our king?' they were asked by one of the advisors. 'We kneel only to Allah', they replied. So the king asked them to tell him about their religion.

Ja'far ibn abi Talib, Ali's brother and a cousin of the Prophet (pbuh), was chosen to speak for the Muslims. He replied, '0 King, at first we were among the ignorant. We and our ancestors had turned from the faith of Abraham, who, with Ishmael, rebuilt the Ka‟bah and worshipped only Allah. We used idols in our worship of Allah; we ate meat that had not been killed in the right way; we did not respect the rights of our neighbors; the strong took advantage of the weak. We did terrible things of which I dare not speak. This was our life until Allah sent a Messenger from among us, one of our relatives, whom we have always known to be honest, innocent, and faithful. He asked us to worship only Allah, and to give up the bad customs of our forefathers. He asked us to be truthful and trustworthy, to respect and help our neighbors, to honor our families, and to put a stop to our bad deeds and endless fighting. He asked us to look after orphans. He ordered us not to slander or speak evil of women or men.

He ordered us to worship Allah alone and not to worship anyone or anything else alongside Him. He ordered us to pray, to give alms, and to fast. We believe he is right and therefore we follow him and do as he has commanded us.

The Meccans began to attack us and come between us and our religion. So we had to leave our homes and we have come to you, hoping to find justice.'

The king, who was a Christian, was moved by these words. „Amr had to think quickly of a way to win the argument. Cunningly he said to the king, 'These people do not believe in Jesus in the same way as you'. The king then wanted to know what the Prophet (pbuh) had said about Jesus. Ja'far replied by reciting a Surah from the Qur'an which tells the story of Jesus and his mother Mary. These are a few of the lines he recited:

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
“And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had Withdrawn from her people to an eastern place, And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man. She said: Lo! I seek refuge in the
Beneficent One from thee, if Thou fearest God. He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son. She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste? He said: 'Even so thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him revelation for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place. Then she brought him to her own folk, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Thou hast come with an monstrous thing. Oh sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a wicked man nor was thy mother a harlot. Then Mary pointed to the child (Jesus); But they said, 'How can we speak to one who is still in the cradle, a young child?' He said, 'Lo, I am Allah's servant; He has given me the Book, and made me a Prophet.

He has made me Blessed, wheresoever I may be; and He has enjoined me to pray, and to give alms, so long as I live, and likewise to cherish my mother; he has not made me arrogant, unblest Peace be upon me, the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am raised up alive!” (Qur'an 19:16-33) . When the king heard this, his eyes filled with tears. Turning to his advisers, he said, 'These words have surely come from God; there is very little to separate the Muslims from the Christians. What both Jesus and Muhammad, the Messengers of Allah, have brought comes from the same source.

So the Muslims were given the king's permission to live peacefully in his country. 'Amr was given back the gift he had presented to the king and the two Meccans returned home, bitterly disappointed.

Noisemaking, Hypocrisy and Mischief of an anti-Igbo Declaration

The most publicized and widespread announcement of a declaration by some northern youth groups doing the round that Igbos settling in northern Nigeria have been given an ultimatum that would expire on Independence Day to park and leave the north is the most unfortunate junk ever to trend in the country this year.
One of the weapons used against Africans in general by the imperialists whenever they want to destroy them or execute a mission of rendering them ungovernable in order for them to exploit their resources has always been the stupidity and absurdity of the Africans that is also furnished by their sentimentalism and emotionalism.
It is understandable for an African to engage in Pan-Africanism free of racism but it is the most idiotic and unreasonable thing for him to engage in tribalism, sectionalism or continental racism.
It was a very shocking announcement that northern youths are sending the Igbos away from the north because the announcement is rid of every sense of reasonability.
These are the same youth organizations that pretended never to be in existence when northerners including the President, the Chief of Army Staff and the Kaduna state Governor used power with absolute impunity and tyranny to butcher over 1000 northerners, mostly youths in Zaria in December 2015.
These killers used all the available machinery to clampdown on innocent unarmed women, children youths and the aged engaging them in a killing spree, burning some alive, burying some alive and shooting others at close range. They used bayonets to cut ladies’ breasts, tear babies apart and throw them in blazing fire and also mass burry their victims with some of them alive begging to be killed before being buried but were buried alive.
It were the same northerners that were mobilized by northerners to scavenge the corpses of the victims where they stole pocket monies and even rings on the hands of the victims after the Nigerian Army made hips of corpses of northern youths. All these mercilessness and inhumanity were inspected and directed by northerners.
None of these so-called and self-made northern youths patriots came out to show any concern or even condemn the illicit mass murder by tyrants and power mongers.
One would wonder what crime these innocent unarmed civilians have committed to deserve such inhumanity, it is nothing other than the fact that they adhere to a religious idea that the President and his men do not subscribe to though constitutionally right.
None of the northern youths groups also came out to condemn the incessant blood-letting perpetrated by the Kaduna state government on the people of Southern Kaduna nor the clampdown on innocent Fulani herdsmen who are being killed and thrown into wells in bushes and their cows and sheep stolen from them by uniformed men.
Millions of youths in the north are out of school and are faced by worse poverty calamities and don’t have access to good education while also living in very harsh recession and difficulty and the self-made patriots never bothered to come out to speak out against the lack of performance of the current regime being led by northerners.
It is only the agitations by the Igbos that their eyes could see and it is only on it that they could render their noisemaking. This simply implies that it is a mischievous machination by the same wicked people exploiting the north.
One wonders on what basis they are acting because the Igbos are a tribe but the Hausas are not. The Hausas are a culture and a people that anybody can become one by simply adopting the culture. Hence, on what basis would a Hausa man engage in the stupid act of tribalism when he is not a tribe?
With the advent of time there had been inter-marriages between the Hausas and other tribes from other parts of the country including the Igbos a lot of who have produced offspring as a result to even a third and fourth generation, how do these fools hope to resolve this inter-woven culture? Where would who belong? Would the mixed blood be murdered? Madness! This is a simple result of growing diversity.
These acts of stupidity and immorality as displayed by these so-called northern youths are the deliberate patches created for imperialists to come and have a field day on us by engaging us in a form of modern colonialism. They would use such opportunities to create mayhem and unnecessary crises among us and later come in in the name of peace-keeping to take over all that we have and render us ungovernable.
As to our Igbo brothers, they need to widen their thoughts and accept the reality that they are gross beneficiaries of our diversities. They earn a lot from it. I can proudly say that there are places in the north where they even contest political positions and win. They have invested a lot of money in businesses in the north. I can proudly say that 70% of property along Constitution road and a lot others along Ahmadu Bello Way in Kaduna where the youth made their declaration belong to Igbos. The Igbos have Hausa business partners also and have generated billions of Naira as a result of this diversity.
What is more important is that their taking advantage of this diversity began after the Civil War that took place as a result of such agitations. This has fetched the Igbos billions of naira in the last 50 years. In a nutshell, they are beneficiaries of our diversity in the same manner as our Hausa brothers that have benefited financially through businesses with the Igbos are also beneficiaries of our diversity.
The Igbos should be able to understand that they are also victims of the same neo-colonial system put in place by the imperialists for their benefit and not for our benefit. They have to do away with that colonial mentality and stop revering the imperialist. They should understand in as much as we suffer the same fate in Nigeria, so also do their brothers and Sisters in the Christian faith in Palestine suffer the same fate in the hands of the Israelis. We are all victims of neo-colonialism and the imperialists divide us to exploit our human and natural resources. This is what Sheikh Zakzaky is calling you to understand and that is why they are detaining him illegally and keeping him incommunicado.
Tribalism, sectionalism and racism would not save us and would not take us anywhere but to a doom. What we need is a true system that would be just and fair to all irrespective of tribe, race, region and religion. All the agitations by those who feel aggrieved are as a result of the neo-colonial system operating.
The system is not meant to save and promote us but to exploit us as a nation and turn us into dumping grounds for their used products. It is as a result of this that leading imperialists like America and Israel in particular are all striving to ensure that they are in-charge in Nigeria in particular which if they control they surely are in control of Africa as a whole.
That was why they used the stooge regime to clampdown on the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) which they see as a threat to their greed. The IMN is already aware of the fact that we are either brothers in faith or brothers in humanity and is raising awareness and this is what they don’t want.
Therefore the imperialists contracted the Hausa politicians to massacre Nigerians in Zaria in order to kill the IMN leader Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, disperse his followers and out-law the Movement. This is because they understand that he is aware of all their dirty plots and is enlightening the people against them.
In their usual way the imperialists used a northerner to do their bid in order to silence sentimentalists like the so-called northern youths who don’t see beyond their noses.
I would not want to comment on those behind both the Igbos agitations and their reasons and those behind the rubbish recently made public by the northern youths. It should now be clear to all that this so-called Kaduna Declaration is merely noisemaking, mischief and hypocrisy to further give room to the wicked imperialist and their Nigerian agents in power to continue with their evil machinations.
No one should be deceived by all including those stupid politicians who call for the prosecution of the northern youths as they are all part of the plot to continue to enslave us while they benefit materially. lets unite behind Sheikh Zakzaky to save our nation and other nations in Africa.
