Good morning everyone. I applied to a school that don't require GRE and other specialize test in the US. Since i have not written any. Will this have any negative implication during interview at the embassy?

Oh! I think you should send an email to the Grad School. They would be able to tell you why your application hasn't been decided upon. I got my admit in 3 days.

Did you submit all the required documents? if not, your application won't be reviewed and you would not be notified of it but your status would read "incomplete or missing documents". And if yes, still check your portal very well if there's anything like "Grad accepting-Pending Financials or Denied". Except your status reads "Accepted", there wouldn't be any email notification of admission from MTU.

Thanks for the response, I applied to MTU, Iowa state university and University of South Carolina. I have no publications. I reached out to profs but got no response. Class ranking is top 10%. I sat for the TOEFL and scored a 90 but it is not enough to make up for the deficiency. My SOPS and LORs are fairly strong, they did turn in the letters at the appropriate time. Thank you for the advice, i appreciate you.

They started rolling out admits since November, so you're probably late.
What's your GRE score? It is late to apply for Fall 2019 but you can check out Tennessee tech.

Their chemistry program is so small and they’re stingy with funding as you know. Did you apply to other schools?

I just applied in late march though.

They are processing my i20, but I haven't received it yet...You will get an amazing admit and funding by God's grace...Which dept did u apply to?

I got admitted for MSC. Talking about profile, mine is not so great. To be sincere, I m not sure I met up with the dept requirement, I just risked it. It was GOD!! I had a second class lower (3.34/5), TOEFL 89 and GRE 307 (QR 157 and VR 150) plus 2 years teaching experience....that's all. Yea, I wont b needing a statement of account to get my i20

you met the requirements.
first English test is waived for Nigerian... you had it.
second, GRE is not required for the graduate school, you had it again, coupled with a good score.
what more do u wanna meet up with?.

Dependent if hes passing through old express (Ota).

If coming through Sagamu, board Oshodi, tell the driver you will stop at Alausa. Cross the pedestrian bridge, Ask for the address from there

enter a bus heading to Lagos. Stop at Oshodi. From Oshodi (opposite nafdac) enter a bus heading to ketu. once you get to ketu, you will see keke heading to magodo. Tell the keke to drop you at CMD office (shouldn't cost more than N100 bucks)

I want to pass through express, someone said I should drop at alausa, then cross to the other side.....then ask for magodo..... I wanted to be sure if the route is correct cos going to oshodi and coming back to ketu seems like a longer journey
