Dr. Bukola Saraki, despite the serial attempts of political enemies to stain him, continues to rise and shine above such malicious antics. He is a genuine leader whose drive is to see Nigeria to sturdy growth and prosperity.

The allegations against him lack roots and substance. I think what his detractors do not say is that they are confounded by his sheen , popularity and distinctions.

Politics2019 Presidency: PDP May Drop Aspirants With Graft Cases By Ndubuisi Orji, Abuja by ElectroLyte(op): 12:46pm On Sep 26, 2018
There are indications that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would bar some of its presidential aspirants, who have graft cases from participating in the primary scheduled for October 5-6.

According to Daily Sun, some top shots in the PDP are strongly canvassing that anyone with graft case or any criminal charge should not be allowed to fly the PDP presidential flag in 2019.

A former member of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), who declined to be named because he was not authorised to speak on the matter, reiterated the party is desirous of fielding a candidate without blemish in 2019.

“There are some of these aspirants who have cases with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and other anti-corruption agencies.

We want a presidential candidate from the PDP that will be as white as snow, so that the issue of blackmail and all of that will not arise.

“So, we should be looking at someone who has credibility, integrity and the rest of that because the APC government is out to run down anybody that has skeleton in its cupboards. We must try to avoid those pitfalls.”

Similarly, another leader of the PDP in Adamawa State, who also declined to be named, told Daily Sun that it is in the interest of the opposition party not to field any candidate with any encumbrances in 2019.
When contacted for his reaction, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the party will not choose its candidate on the basis of whether or not they have graft cases.

Ologbondiyan also said no member can canvass for the opposition party to drop aspirants with corruption cases, and that the party would be guided by the provisions of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), as well as its rules in screening presidential aspirants.

Politics2019 Presidency: Turaki Best To Replace Buhari, Says Jonathan by ElectroLyte(op): 12:31pm On Sep 23, 2018
Dr. Jonathan noted that he and other leaders have been consulting on how to ensure the emergence of a highly competent and credible presidential candidate based on crucial criteria including whether the person is sufficiently exposed; whether the person is a bigot or has an extremist tendency and whether the person has the capacity to manage Nigeria’s complexities or its resources well.

“We are looking beyond education,” he said, noting that “whenever your name (Turaki’s) comes up, there had been no doubts created about you on any of the criteria unlike in some others.”

Dr. Jonathan enjoined those seeking leadership positions to endeavour to make sacrifices for the wellbeing of future generations.

Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has expressed utmost confidence in the ability of a frontline PDP presidential aspirant, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, to perform creditably if given the chance by Providence to be the country’s president in 2019.

The former president was speaking in his office in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State this weekend when Turaki who was visiting his 36th state, led his campaign team to brief the former leader on his nationwide consultations with PDP governors, state working committees and other leaders as well as delegates ahead of the party’s presidential primary.

In what could be termed as a testimonial on Turaki who served as Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs and also as Supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity under him, the former president said that the visit provided an opportunity to thank Turaki for supporting him with qualitative performance while in office.

Dr. Jonathan enjoined those seeking leadership positions to endeavour to make sacrifices for the wellbeing of future generations.
Governor Seriake Dickson had earlier at a meeting with the campaign team at the Government House council chambers did what he said he had never done by calling for a standing ovation for Turaki who, the governor described as “the foremost presidential aspirant, a good Nigerian and a great Bayelsan.”

The governor said: “All have seen and heard you (referring to members of the state house of assembly and the cabinet in attendance),” adding: ” there is no doubt in their minds as to your comparative suitability for the job (of president).

“The country needs a leader with vision, competence, capacity and who is digital, detribalized and a bridge builder,” the governor added.

He said further: “We are tired of a riotous Nigeria. We say NO to those who limit the Nigerian Dream by way of religion, ethnic, state or regional enclave.”

Governor Dickson also pointed out that the the 2019 presidential election will be a referendum on restructuring.

Turaki who had enumerated his priority agenda as including the tackling of security challenges; revitalizing the economy and creating enabling environment for employment generation; fighting corruption and promoting the rule of law stressed that he will “ensure that Nigeria is restructured to enthrone justice, equity and fairness.”

He stressed further that he has the vision, knowledge, capacity and competence to provide the critical and strategic thinking necessary for addressing Nigeria’s multifarious problems. “I stand before you as the best of the best (of all the aspirants),” Turaki said.

During Turaki’s interaction with the delegates, the chairman, Bayelsa State PDP, Hon. Moses Cleopas assured the aspirant that they were convinced about his promises.

“There is no shaking for you … Among those we have interacted or interfaced with, I believe that you are the most brilliant,” the chairman assured Turaki.

PRESS RELEASE

Taraba State governor, Architect Dickson Ishaku Darius has said that frontline PDP presidential aspirant, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, has all what it takes to be Nigeria’s president in 2019.

The governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Engineer Haruna Manu made the remark on Wednesday when the presidential aspirant visited the Government House in Jalingo, in continuation of his nationwide consultations ahead of the party’s presidential primary next month.

The Deputy Governor said: “In terms of capability, capacity and knowledge of the situation of the country you have it all. The governor cherishes positive values and capacity and you indeed have it. We will pray for you. We will support you. We and our governor will take a united position.”

He commended Turaki for his digital disposition to governance and his thorough grasp of the Nigerian situation. “We want to see you again in either November or December on campaign as our party’s presidential candidate,” he added.

He however counseled that the PDP can only dislodge the APC in the 2019 general elections if there was cohesion among members, especially the presidential aspirants.

He therefore enjoined the aspirants to abide by the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which they all signed to support whoever emerged as the party’s presidential candidate, noting that so many people are anxious to see how the PDP will conduct its primaries as a prelude to rescuing Nigerians from the hardships imposed on them by the APC.

The deputy Governor noted: “APC has failed Nigerians. In terms of economy we are worse off than we were in 2015. Unemployment condition has worsened. The HSBC Bank and the prestigious London Economist magazine have concluded that APC has failed Nigerians in all economic parameters.”

While at the state PDP secretariat, the party chairman, Hon. Victor Bala Kona who expressed the hope that Turaki will emerge as the party’s presidential standard bearer acknowledged the aspirant’s stewardship “in serving as a strong, loyal and stable party member.”

He commended Turaki for using his skill as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in defending the party in election matters and other issues in the North East George’s-political zone.

The chairman noted that Turaki’s commitment to the PDP had not been for pecuniary gain, noting further that during he party’s crisis the aspirant remained firm, resolute and guided the party in retrieving its soul from destruction.

“There should be a reward for loyalty,” the chairman said, otherwise, it will discourage justice and encourage injustice.”

Kabiru-Tanimu-Taraba_2 TURAKI, A VIABLE AND CREDIBLE PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL, says Taraba Governor
Taraba State Deputy Governor, Engr. Haruna Manu (third from left), Presidential aspirant, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN (fourth from left) and DG of his campaign, Mr. Boni Haruna (first from right).
He said further that Nigeria needed a person with capacity and talent to remove the country from its current bondage, adding that Nigeria needed a person like Turaki who, as part of his private sector experience was one of those who salvaged the then Bank of the North from collapse before a new board was appointed to succeed them.

The former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs had stated earlier that he will give priority to the tackling of the country’s security challenges, rejuvenating the economy, fighting corruption through the strict adherence to the rule of law and will never lie to Nigerians.

He accused the APC government as being “disgustingly corrupt” beyond what the country had ever witnessed since independence in 1960, besides fueling divisiveness among the ethnic groups and also toying with the security of lives and property of the people.

The entry of APC into SS and SE doenst matter, some people can speak for all people, but cannot act on behalf of all the people. I could remember that Selection of PYO by PMB came as a game changer for APC 4 years ago.

IF PDP can take this as a shot it would work. I believed the street of SE/SS will be turn up-side-down, ready for campaign. SW and NC is split for now this is enough for PDP to catch up with APC numbers. PDP Just need to Market the duo very well, they are not defect product.

#IsupportFacesofHope #TeamKTTnPKM

With a warm welcome in greet you as you read my opinion on the Hope of Nigeria Development. As you can see in the Graphics below two people from different region and party were tagged together to drive Nigeria forward.

First of all, I don't want PDP to make same mistake of the past; on the matter of G.E. Jonathan and Alimoudu Sherif, rather be open-minded to what Nigeria will be happy about and not to succumb to any candidate selfish ambition. What Nigeria need now as Presidential Material is, Integrity, Brain, Educated, People Oriented, Eloquent, Serious Mindedness, NOT OVER AMBITIOUS. This quality are found in the called Kabiru Tanimu Turaki. Hence I will appeal to PDP take sure he becomes the party Presidential candidate. He may not be popular but PDP as the platform to promote and market this good product called Kabiru Tanimu Turaki. I see the Spirit and Mind of Late Umar Musa Yaradua in him. Yaradua was not a popular candidate but a good and salable product and Nigeria did not failed to accept him. PDP should kindly lay aside party interest that will make we their supporter cry out all water in body rather Choose and Market this Non-Defect Product KTT.

Secondly, their is need to re-enforce the confidence youth, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu has being the talk on the Social media among the Youth and to consider the fact that is time to allow the Eastern Nigeria to be involved in Governance. The above outlined qualities are found in the man who has rose to the apex of the Career, this man must be chosen to run along KTT.

Thirdly, I dont want Prof. Kingsley to think I undermine his capability to be president, but I do not see him with a Nationwide Party Structure that win a Presidential Election in Nigeria, this is reality. Kindly take this with good heart, Thank You.

Lastly, fellow Nigerians lets embrace these Faces of Hope.

God Bless you
God Bless Nigeria and everywhere else
Thank you all
