Looks to me like you're not following the two companies closely.
oh yes! You want to remind me of the patent wars in 2012? And the cat and dog release of both the S-series and I-series from samsung mobile and apple.inc?.

I stand to be corrected....the major threat to samsung mobile now are these chinees companies.
Samsung use to dominate 70% of the mobile android share as at 2011-2012 which gives it the edge to wrestle apple in those period, now that the likes of tecno(hong kong),htc(taiwan) and the rest are flooding the android market with thier brands of phones leading to a drastic loss in shares to samsung, tell me if samsung is still match to compete conveniently with apple when they are still loosing out in the android market.

Huawei Ascend Mate P7 is winning the race in the market https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Huawei+ascend+mate+7
even if CMC(chinees mobile companies) are to dominate the current market share between apple and samsung. It is most likely to be huawei and not these alien names with no track records of previous technology.

Huawei has really created names providing and proffering solution to the IT word. Most telecommunication dongle, cdma and the rest are engineered by thier brand....yes i'm very sure they would trend.

Samsung recorded highest loss mainly because Apple released phones with larger screen size. Since Apple will never allow other manufacturers to use its OS (iOS) on their devices, people will continue buying the iPhones. So if people (android fans) ain't doing brand again it is because samsung and others use Android, therefore they can easily switch brand.
that is far from true sir, samsung recorded its greatest lost this year because of the chinees mobile companies eaten from the previous share it use to dominate.

Mind you samsung is never in anyway competing with apple.inc currently but with these china brand, you might want to follow jk shin to see what i just told you.

look, american would sacrifise all her industries(rook, bishops) in nigeria just to check mate our economy anexation.
Yes, you are correct we are the number one economy in africa and that is our original sin to the american.they'd discovered they are the ones making us fat.
Din't america realise chevron and the rest are in nigeria before cutting thier crude oil deal with us?.

I think Nigeria needs to hit US back through their multi national companies doing business here. When US stopped buying India and China were waiting to take over. USA can suck up their dollars because Nigeria has outgrown being bullied by them.
Nigeria hit back at US?? With what?. They have taken out our most powerful piece (crude oil).
Tell me nigeria can hit at them with her knights and pawn.....looooool.
This is a game we can not win, atleast not this time, we should not chose the wrong weapon cause currently we are in the wrong fight.

I paid 10k. i have the receipt.
That is why i am so distant from anything Samsung.
I still wonder why you are charged for service when your phone is just two month old as of the time your phone developed that malfunctioning.
If POP was presented and you are sure of not tampering the phone by given it for repair to unauthorize center, then your phone should be fixed for free within the period of your warranty.
What is the model of that samsung phone having the afformentioned issue?.
PhonesRe: Top 10 Hottest Smartphones Of 2014 by Electronzeez(m): 9:31am On Dec 27, 2014

I took the phone to Samsung center, CSL, Ikeja where they collected ten thousand naira from me to fix it. After almost four months, they called me that the phone was ready. Just one week after, the phone started showing the same touch pad errors again which was worse than what i experienced ab initio. This time around, it keeps pooping up 'Date and Time Settings' every time i want to do anything with the phone. The 'return and menu' buttons are completely dead. I called CSL and they said i should deal with it or buy another phone.
that is serious, you mean you payed 10k?....what happens to your warranty? Has the phone been tampered with before you take it to the service center?.

I know CSL, they are one of the service center company to samsung, i think it is safe to conclude you have got no luck using samsung phones, you might find luck using apple product.

But i have never regreted recommending samsung, huawei and sony to customers.

1. The touch pad stopped working without any prior notice just two months after purchase.
2. The touch pad was behaving like a 'Possessed' entity controlled by some unseen forces. You would just be looking at the phone while it tries to run the camera, send text message, open the games and so on.

It was so frustrating and I had to switch to Nokia Lumia. But I do miss the cool stuff androids provided. The Lumia self na one hell of a stupid phone. Just saving some money now to get myself an iPhone.
let me answer your complain this way. In electronics industries, if1000 gadgets are manufactured at the same time, in a particular batch of production, there is what we call reliability and probability.
This two factors are mostly considered not only in electronics industries but in all engineering industries.
RELIABILITY: for every batch of production, there is a calculated percentage of how reliable an individual product would last in a stated period - may be for all 1000 batch of gadget produce, it is expected that they last 8 month before any form of malfunctioning can be noticed.

PROBABILITY: this factor allow manufactureres to predict the possibilty of certain percentage of the manufactured batch of product developing failure in terms of (catastrophic, sudden, total etc ) failure before the probation period i.e reliability period.

It is a pity you are one of those customers who lay thier hands on product which couldn't serve their probabtion time. I do tell electronics customer this, "buying electronics is luck". The same model of samsung you are complaining about you might find someone else telling you how perfect his gadget has been serving him.

SOLUTION: when such occur when next you are buying a phone, kindly take it to thier service center and i believe your issues would be resolved.....i'm sorry for the harsh word in my previous reply...shalom.

It's widely accepted by HHP(hand held phones) expert that samsung androind phones are the best.the only android brand that would continue to make the mobile eco-system unbearable for apple - i forsee huawei taken that place in the nearest future.

I made this theory base on these factor.

Reapairability
Os - ROM compatibility
upgradability
aging
market value.

You mentioned e-paul in conformity with the claptrap your anti-big grammar partner spew but shamefully burried your head by denying the fact that his reply was not directed to you.

If you have a one job, i would advise you get another to fill in the time used in throwing petulant speeches all around.

InvestmentRe: see photos of How 200k Started my Barbing, game and laundry business by Electronzeez(m): 7:01am On Dec 08, 2014
50calibre:
I admire your entrepreneurial drive, but this not a viable business in any way, sooner or later it will collapse like a pack of cards.

I've spent considerable amount of time in lagos to know this type of business is never going to get you rich. At best you're just going to be surviving, living from hand to mouth.

Lets start with the location of your business: I haven't been to badagry but I know it's a one of the most rural parts of lagos which means it's population is largely made up of low income folks who won't be willing to pay good buck for a haircut unlike the affluent areas. Then there is the issue of rent.

Now electricity: We all know power supply in Nigeria is almost non-existent, so it's safe to assume you'd be running on a generator. Last heard, petrol was N100/litre. How much will it cost you to run that generator for a day & how much turnover are you going to be making (take into account periodic breakdown/servicing)

Then to the game issue: Nothing attracts the police, gamblers & criminals like that game. Your barber/gaming/laundry shop is going to be attracting trouble like honey attract flies. The parody outfit called Nigerian police are literally going to be feeding off you and your potential laundry customers are going to stay away from your establishment as it will be perceived as a haven for crooks.

How do I know this? I used to be a prolific gambler, the type to travel miles in search of a gambling joint regardless where it's located. I remember on one occasion I was in one of those gaming houses, (A friend suggested that we patronise of them, never knew how dangerous that could be) we did patronise them a couple of times but one day while we were all glued to the TV, the police swooped in & rounded all of us up, no where to run, no where to hide. We were ushered in a straight line into an awaiting van ready to drive us to the police station. I was lucky, because I was a minor then, I wasn't thrown into one of their horrid cells, when work got to my people, they came and bailed me out with cash. This was early 2000s, the PS1 era so I don't know if that's still happening.

My advice to you; be aware of the dangers of running a game business and prepare for it.

- Keep some savings for the police or settle the police beforehand so they'd look away.

- Have few thugs handy to help you when matters get out of hand.

- Don't just rely on your barbing business, branch into other forms of business legal or not. You can run a successful weed/cannabis enterprise, you buy in bulk at cheaper rates, then you distribute at your own price. Your business would provide cover for you. Just settle the police & they'd look away, in Nigeria anything goes. When the going gets tough the tough gets going. (I know this because barber shops are one of the easiest places to lay your hands on weed)

- If business is booming, don't place all your eggs in one basket. Save up & open other shops putting your protégés in charge.
50calibre, i like the way you analyse things, well i expect that from a computer science dude.
You must be quite good in algorithm.

firstly, I believe we all heard this speculation during the era of batch c when alot of things was delayed and the rumours strongly went on that batch c won't hold but it finally came to pass,

secondly, while NYSC must always hold all batch its because its a sign of National unity, so if we are to skip any batch it means alot to the unity and integration of the nation.

thirdly, even when the timetable has been released, we should always pray for a successful general election come 2015, because this NYSC comes second behind Nigeria. I believe in One Nigeria till tomorrow.
