I met a guy in this group December last year and we became friends... John St Facebook friends of Hello....Hi..by January we were like childhood friend or gossip_mate... Which was prompted by our I comment on post as we have lots of understanding in common, along the line we became very free and comfortable with each other.

I was so captivated by his sense of wisdom and maturity that I seek advice from him when I want to make a certain descission .

A had an issue with a certain group member by February that I had to involve him and the group admin... The matter was settled and it was that case that brought us more close, we started talking frequently, both on chat and video calls... But that doesn't mean we were dating.. cus he doesn't believe in dating before marriage neither do I...
All this while we were yet to meet but it feels like we both wake up together every morning.

We planned lots of things together which includes setting up a puttery farm for me to be looking after for the meantime until he show up... We were still on the estimate when he had issue with his business so I told him let us pause the plan for now while we keep hoping and praying for the settlement of the issue he have...

I am not a lady who enjoy staying idle as am still working hard trying to build a good future for myself and I was really going through a lot but have no Kobo with me even to say for my medical bill while I was seriously sick, I told him I want to look for a job I will be managing penting till the case is settled and we are able to establish the business... He agreed on a condition that it should be around my state or Local govt.. Which I need to go to town and pay for house rent but I have no money as of that time cus I have been home throughout the pantry farm plan...

A have a sister in Lagos whom I can stay with, get a job while I wait for a miracle... So I told him but he got angry saying we are planning and am planning another thing... This was April, and the private doctor that treated me was on my neck to pay him... He knows all this I needed to work, he said I should cancel the trip and send him proof which I gladly did, my sister was and, infant we still not in good terms till date... because she already got me a job but what pain me a s that the guy stopped talking to me, not picking my call... For about 2weeks, I was totally heartbroken.. I couldn't understand what I did wrongh... Please house help me out
What did I do wrongh??
Even though I letter appologiz many times but the friendship is already cold.... All my effort to revive it prove abortive... He said am impatient... those it mean he has been testing my patience? Please judge this Matter and advise me please
You did nothing wrong

He just want to stop talking to you and everything else is just an excuse

CrimeAbducted Driver Regains Freedom In Ondo by Elemosho478(op): 7:18pm On Jul 02, 2019
The Ondo State Police Command, on Monday, confirmed the release of a commercial driver, Mr Felix Akinde, by his abductors.

Akinde, a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was kidnapped last week by unknown gunmen in Ita-Ogbolu on the Akure-Ado Ekiti Road, headquarters of the Akure North Local Government Area of the state, while travelling to Akure from Ekiti State to pick passengers.

The hoodlums demanded N5m ransom for his release but the amount was later reduced to N2m after negotiation.

It was gathered that the victim was set free on Saturday after an undisclosed amount was paid to his abductors as ransom.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, confirmed the development but said the command was not aware that any ransom was paid.

He added that the command had not got the details of how the victim was set free as of the time of speaking to our correspondent.

Joseph stated, “I can confirm that the victim has been released, but we don’t have the details of his release, because after he was set free, he called to inform us.

“We asked him to come to the command headquarters to give us the details but he said he wanted to go and meet his boss first, and since then, he has not shown up.”

On the ransom paid, the PPRO said, “We have not seen him to know the details; we cannot say anything on whether ransom was paid or not. All I can say is that he has been released.”

TravelLagos Resumes Construction Of Lagos-badagry Expressway by Elemosho478(op): 7:07pm On Jul 02, 2019
Lagos State Government on Tuesday resumed the construction of the ten-lane Lagos-Badagry Expressway ten years after its commencement.

Performing the flag-off, the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, stated that the return to the road not only marks the fulfillment of a promise made during a recent visit on June 2, 2019, to the people of the State by the Sanwo-Olu Administration but is also designed to bring relief to commuters who experience hardship daily on the road.

Speaking at the site office of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), contractors to the project, the Deputy Governor noted that the Sanwo-Olu administration would honour all the promises made to Lagosians.

He further stated that the project covers specifically the Agboju to Trade Fair segment as well as the rehabilitation of the Eric Moore – Mile 2 stretch.

Hamzat said, “We must obey the law, citizens co-operation is critical to what successes we will be able to record during this tenure. We must also monitor the project and report progress and observations to us.”

Hamzat further commended the co-operation of the Federal Government as both the State and Federal Agencies will be present along the road up to the Seme border.

He explained that Lagos State is handling Eric Moore to Agboju while FERMA will do four-lane maintenance to Agbara while the Federal Government has awarded Agbara to Seme as a six-lane Highway.

He said the State Government will deploy Taskforce to clean up the area and ensure a free flow of traffic.

It should be recalled that the notion to expand the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, a major gateway connecting Nigeria and other neighbouring West African countries was conceptualized in 2009 by the Babatunde Raji Fashola administration to ease traffic in the region and upgrade the infrastructure from four (4) lane into ten (10) lane dual carriage.

PoliticsECOWAS Adopts ECO As A Single Currency by Elemosho478(op): 5:26pm On Jul 02, 2019
Countries within the West African sub-region will be able to use a single currency from January 2020

The currency which is called ECO was adopted by the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government on Saturday in Nigeria’s capital Abuja.

The West African leaders endorsed the currency at their 55th Ordinary Session and approved a road map towards the currency’s issuance in January 2020.

There roadmap is to ensure that all member countries meet three primary criteria for the adoption of the currency.

The criteria for adoption includes member countries having a budget deficit of not more than 3%; average annual inflation of less than 10% with a long-term goal of not more than 5% by 2019.

Member countries were also expected to have gross reserves that can finance at least three months of imports.

The other convergence criteria that have been adopted by ECOWAS are public debt or Gross Domestic Product of not more than 70%.

There is also the issue of central banks financing budget deficit not more than 10% of previous year’s tax revenue, and nominal exchange rate variation of plus or minus 10%.

A communiqué by Nigeria’s Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mustapha Suleiman said that the regional leaders instructed the ECOWAS Commission to work in collaboration with West African Monetary Agency.

The commission is also expected to work with West African Monetary Institute and all central banks to settle on a symbol for the single currency.

Meanwhile, the ECOWAS Chairman President Issoufou Mahamadou said that the revised roadmap does not affect the date for the issuance of the single currency in January 2020.

He said “We have not changed that but we will continue with assessment between now and then.

“We are of the view that countries that are ready will launch the single currency and countries that are not yet ready will join the programme as they comply with all six convergence criteria,” he added.

ECOWAS was set up in 1975 and has a combined population of 385 million.

It comprises Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.

Eight of these countries use one currency called the CFA franc. Those are Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Togo.

The decision to adopt one currency is similar to that of the European Union to adopt a single currency called Euro.
