Welcome to the thread brother or sister. I hope you can share some information with us about life in NRW. Thanks for the invite, I drink a lot of beer and I’ll finish your money.
thank you for inviting and welcoming me to your thread. cool.
As for beer, Na you go Taya for o, I wish I drink too lol. Na so so youghurt n juice I dey take lol.

Straight to the point.
First of all, I want to appreciate the time you put together for this raw write up. It is raw because everything written up there are nothing but the pure Truth.

My experience so far as a residence of NRW, the point remains that you have said it all. I work and school. I Study at Essen. I once lived in Duisburg but currently live in Düsseldorf and I hope to go back to Düisburg because living expenses is relatively cheaper there.

I was formally staying in Sachsen and I can say there is high level of Racism there because I experienced it first Hand. I remembered going for a job interview and we were told they don't want blacks in the company Yes lol. I left there due to Racism and low employment opportunities.

I can categorically say NRW is more unless like the most dominated black State in Germany and undoubtedly the most populous State, NRW is the Kano and Lagos State of GERMANY.

Being a student in NRW- as a student here your semester card allows you to use public transports (Train,Tram,Bus) for Free, so you can travel and work anywhere within the State as big as it's lol. The social life here is cool although I'm not really the social type lol, all I do is work, study, eat and sleep, boring kinda life yeah lol. But I love adventure so I travel a lot, I'll be visiting the Netherlands this month since it's closer to us here.

As regards Job opportunities- the I.T guys have edge in terms of job opportunities so language doesn't really come to play here but as for other sectors German knowledge will definitely give someone edge but there are jobs and I mean there are many Jobs in NRW.

As regards food- I like food but I'm not fat I weigh 65KG lol. There are African stores, so getting African foods is never a problem here. I eat swallow and Ogufe, goat meat steadily lol so I don't really miss the food side of Nigeria ( Note I prepare them myself, ja I love kitchen)

As per Social Life, everything you're looking for is here, NRW is never boring except you're the boring type, so you can always explore and try new things. There are shows, festivals and clubs to explore here.

If I remember any other things, I do like to modify later.

I hope someone finds this interesting, I'm sorry I don't reply PM, you can ask your questions here so others benefit and moreso I'm the busy type. I'm writing this inside train so I'm sorry I'm advance for any typo error

My best wishes to every hopeful

God bless NIGERIA
God bless DE
Vielen Dank!

What's up bro, I hope to study my engineering masters in North-Rhine Westphalia, I've researched German states and I like NRW best.

How's the student life there and what city are you at?
you are welcome anytime. I stay in Dussedolf for now. yes, I think NRW is the best state in Germany. The Lagos State of Germany lol. for engineering courses, you could check
Uni Duisburg Essen.
RWTH Aachen University,
Ruhr-Universität Bochum
Padderborn
Hamm Lipstadt (BSc Electro Engi, very easy to secure admission there and naija full there lol)
Cologne
also check https://www.4icu.org/de/north-rhine-westphalia/ (to access over 64 uni in NRW)

Student life is cool here, everything you want is here, foods, hustle (an average student makes 1k/month) it is a black state. blacks full here. lil or no racism because i have never exp one.

i am not always here due to my busy schedule, so sorry for late response. accept my best wishes and see you soon in DE, Tschous grin

do you know anything about Brno, how about job opportunities in Czech, what about living expenses like housing, social amenities, and again social life, do u know if much people speak English over there., I do understand 1 czk =16 naira in naija.
I am sorry I have little on no knowledge or information on this. I only went to Czech as a researcher and tourist. But living expenses is relatively small as Czech is not too different from an average African countries, all thanks to EU. they speak more of English in the tourist cities due to the fact that foreigners troop I'm now and then.
As for job, many of them come to Germany to work maybe because they have less Job or due to the fact that their currency is weak to €.
I think Czech is a nice place at least it's part of Schengen countries so one can always move freely around the Schengen communities.

The above is based on my personal bexperience please, so anyone is free to agree or disagree.

Unfortunately CR7 can NEVER win Balloon D'Or again, Sadly Messi is not yet done. Yh truth is bitter, but you can snapshot this post for future reference
As long as I appreciate Hardwork, I always Bow to Raw talent whenever I see one.

Before you quote me that Messi is nothing because he only plays for Barcelona, I want to remind you that Your SAF is nothing for only winning it all with Manchester United

God bless the two players but I'll forever love and admire Lionel Messi for what he's done, he's doing and he'll still do for football grin

I don't know why Nigeria didnt invest in Trains in the early 80s till now.

no another train took me, however they were having train auditioning or something related to that where the aged comes out in large number with their young ones to see the old/ancient trains. It was an awesome experience lol
