Take a bow did not mean “bow down before him” Take a bow in that context simply meant greet the man, appreciate the man. Ministers to be take bows at the National Assembly. They are not asked to bow down. They are simply asked to salute the legislators. Wike himself took a bow at the National Assembly. |
fuellessgen:Nope. The audacity stinks. |
ISWAP in Nigeria? |
But we read that there was no longer evidence. |
2shure:Go carry your own coke or go do the ole work. Abi to get money dey fear you? At 21, he was a millionaire. At your own age now, you dey struggle for recharge card. |
Great. Hard work pays. He saw his opportunity, took it and the rest became history. In those days, it was easy to get car dealerships. |
sacajawea:E pain you die. Oya go and locate the old man and collect the money from him. Maybe you no dey see money chop. Money no be your own. Papa no be your own, yet e dey pain you. No be only karma. Na Kamoru. You knew him all his life until this old age. How do young people like you get bitter over such men who probably have not had opportunities and labored so hard with no one to help, is worth studying. |
StreetFight:If you are so young with no knowledge or idea of what transpired, you can either ask questions or make your research. You have rather than knowledgeably contributed to the discussion, resorted to abuse. You may ask why OBJ easily overran the SW in 2003, while Lagos, which was there for the taking by the PDP, was left for AD/Tinubu. If you were too young then, you have the benefit of research into historical records, to help you further develop your knowledge and ideas. Atiku, out of his friendship with Tinubu, saved Lagos for AD. Tinubu was to pay him back in 2007, when OBJ dealt with Atiku, stopping him from contesting the Presidency on the platform of PDP. |
theophorus:https://dailypost.ng/2015/03/17/tinubu-finally-admits-he-helped-jonathan-defeat-ribadu-in-2011/ Please read the above. The same Tinubu shouted that GEJ was preventing him from contesting as Buhari’s Vice President in 2014. The Ojota story was predicated on the greed of some people. They all agreed that it was all politics and that subsidy should have gone in 2014, with GEJ. Tinubu simply played his cards with the northerners, using his religious status and the political bridges that he had systematically built over the years. The rest is the history that we now witness, with Nigeria compared to Somalia, under the same Tinubu. |
A very reckless talk by this man. Without doubt, we all know that Tinubu needed Atiku more than Atiku needed him: 1. As the leader of the then PDM, Atiku was about the most powerful politician in the north. With his position, he was able to easily influence politics, without mixing it with religion, to confuse voters. Tinubu was connected to the then PDM, who original leader was the late Shehu Musa Yaradua. When Atiku out of his greed fell out with OBJ, Tinubu offered him the ACN platform with an eye on the center. 2. Tinubu stated clearly that the Presidency was his life long ambition. Supporting northerners by his political permutations would get him the Presidency. 3. He was accused of asking his voters to support GEJ, while Ribadu was contesting on the ACN platform. It became open knowledge when accusations started flying around. We should not be confused by Shettima who’s trying to paint the wrong picture of the two men. |
Judolisco:Great! You got it. Cheers. |
Judolisco:I read that. You quoted my initial comment and I followed up with that. Even at that, who is the most decorated football manager? |
Ucheosefoh:Yes, but there is another name with more trophies than Guardiola’s. Check. |
Judolisco:Pep Guardiola is not the most decorated coach. For now he is 10 trophies away from the most decorated coach in history. Make a little research and respond to me. Cheers. |
smileyoo:If Awolowo was a visionary, why then did he go ahead along with the west into independence with the rest of the country? Since Azikiwe had clearly stated before independence that it would be treasonable, why would he agree with the secession plan, knowing that he along with the east were signatories to Nigerian independence? Or did you not read that secession was debated deeply and Awolowo took the whole day to present his point? Or you do not know that if Awolowo was not convinced, he would not have proceeded? The only bondage there simply is the bondage of voting for very horrible leaders. When you vote for those who violate you financially, embezzle the common patrimony, put you in servitude and perpetual misery, do not blame Awolowo, Azikiwe, Sadauna and the rest, who were honest leaders and wanted better societies for their people. |
What does it mean that the authorities were not notified? It is not possible please. |
Floky215:You got it dear friend. |
blowjohn:Atiku was not the President at the time. He headed the economic team, an assignment given to him by his President, Obasanjo. Atiku brought ElRufai from BPE, who became a monster. OBJ brought Okonjo Iweala and Dora Akunyili. Nuhu Ribadu’s profile was very interesting and OBJ picked him, just like Soludo. The team came by recommendation from different individuals, just like Atiku was recommended to OBJ to become the VP. Obasanjo looked at their profiles and employed on the basis of professionalism and not politics. Atiku led the team for one term until politics made him attempt to remove OBJ. There was no less debt. The debt owed the Paris club was huge among others. Madam Okonjo Iweala had the privilege of attending the best schools and having relationships with children of world leaders, including world leaders too. She leveraged on her personal relationships to secure the debt relief for Nigeria. OBJ’s economic policies were sound and he had the political will to carry out the policies. Atiku lost his chance of becoming the President when he attempted to subvert OBJ. BAT made all the mouth. He touted himself as the best thing after honey. The rest is history today. Some Nigerians were fooled by BAT and his group in 2014. He fooled them again in 2024. He continues to fool them. |
EponObi:Which masses please? You and your group? The APC masses or supporters of the LP/Obi? Or are you a one man “masses”? |
Is Guardiola truly the most decorated coach? What has happened to a certain Carlo Ancelotti? |
Beautiful house. Hard work pays. Citizens love and reward good. Thank you Rita and the people of Ummunachi. God bless the great Anambra state. |
But he installed the governor. I wonder how El Rufai has lost his sleep suddenly. |
Evil men. Thank God they were apprehended. I also believe that the fleeing one would be apprehended soon. Evil money used to attended foolish owambe and hist their girlfriends. Someone close to me escaped by God’s mercy last month. He was booked to drive them to Badagry road. That same way they diverted to a lonely and deserted road. They got to a piece of land and asked him to wait. One of the evil two jumped down and pretended to go and examine a fictitious land that they claimed they were building on. The one inside the car took out his gun and held this my friend hostage. He robbed him of his phone and money. Just as he was doing that, his criminal partner called his attention from the land and commanded him to leave the innocent man alone. He used the words “innocent man”. That’s how the thief returned the phone and money. My friend shivering drove back home at speed. E-hail drivers must be careful, especially when approaching lonely roads. I advice them to, as much as possible, never carry two or more men in their cars. Even women rob the drivers too. |
Floky215:The Israelis lose market to their competitors, with the following world arms market export rating: 1. USA 42% 2. France 11% 3. Russia 11% 4. China 5.8% 5. German 5.6% 6. Italy 4.3% 7. UK 3.7% 8. Spain 2.7% 9. Of course Israel @ 2.4% 10. South Korea 2% That show enables arms producers showcase what their latest wares and technology. Some are kept secret too. Huge transactions are made there. Israel is not ranked among the top 10 for nothing. |
God1000:Nope. Hezbollah has weapons to cause harm. Israel has weapons to completely destroy Lebanon. Hezbollah must be careful, even as current international sentiments weigh against the Israeli destruction in Gaza, caused by the wrong and careless move of Hamas in October last year. |
BoldBrainz:Just imagine! “spoondylosis”? Where did you get that from? Clear evidence that you did not know what you commented about. See you already naked in a crowded place with tyres over you! |
HilcomTech:I think you wrongly directed the question. You should have asked your people why their stock in trade is the sacrificial offering of fellow humans for quick riches. They are known for that all over the world. Is there any doubt? Or do you want to blame others for that? |
BoldBrainz:So you fear that yeye ailment? Ok. Your back has started paining you! |
jrizlybey:The International Criminal Court (ICC) has been investigating alleged war crimes committed by Israel in the Palestinian territories, and there have been reports that the ICC may seek an arrest warrant for former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In response, the US Congress has passed a bill that would sanction the ICC if it moves forward with the investigation and potential prosecution of Israeli officials. The bill, known as the "ICC Sanctions Act," would authorize the President to impose economic sanctions on ICC officials and would also restrict US funding for the ICC. As for whether President Biden would sign the bill, it's difficult to say at this point. The Biden administration has not publicly stated its position on the bill, and it's likely that the administration is weighing various factors, including the potential impact on US-ICC relations and the implications for international justice and accountability. It's worth noting that the Biden administration has expressed support for the ICC in the past, and has emphasized the importance of international cooperation and accountability for war crimes and other serious human rights violations. However, the administration has also been criticized by some for not doing enough to hold Israel accountable for its actions in the Palestinian territories. |
BoldBrainz:Maybe you have never seen someone suffering lumbar Spondylosis. Pray that you do not experience it, otherwise you will not term it “one yeye ailment”. |
HilcomTech:And what will you do when you live with hosts whose stock trade is beheading others for wealth? Keep quite and clap your hands for them? |
Very foolish of the security men. Sometimes security personnel, especially the private one attached to banks, act like soldiers on rampage. We have not heard the part of the security men, but with the benefit of experience with them, one cannot but agree that they are capable of forcing things. However, the strike was not in anyway violent. Everyone either say at home to rest, or went about other things peacefully, waiting for government and the labour unions to arrive at an agreement. Except they were working and beating the strike, there was no need for security men attached to the bank to attack the journalist. Anyway, if the man feels aggrieved, he can forward his complaint to the police for further investigation. He can also institute civil charges against the offending men, if any. |
