Again, is it not a shame that the gas master plan of the nation does not cover the SE where the same gas is produced? Is that the equity that you talked about? The same gas that adds to the economy is is part of the FAAC shared by the FG to all states and LGAs? Learn to go to equity with clean hands.

He's getting agitated because there are rumours that Obi is in talks with Atiku after having discovered that Kwankwaso is working for Tinubu to keep his 2031 aspirations alive. The NDC gubernatorial candidate just got disqualified by INEC, has Kwankwaso issued any statement about that? He clearly wants his son-in-law, Abba Kabir to retain Kano under APC. Their much touted clash was a ruse and was manufactured so that Kwankwaso can retain the structure of both the APC and the opposition in Kano. Ganduje and Barau are silently aggrieved with Tinubu for throwing them and their own ambitions under the bus.

Even if you do not have knowledge of how political matters play, at least you can have some commonsense that should tell you certain realities that you need to know.

How does it sound to you that Peter Obi and Kwankwanso would step down for Atiku, or any other aspirant for that matter? How do you also believe that Kwankwanso is working for Tinubu? If you allow yourself to think a little more, you’ll find out that Kwankwanso needs Obi more now. Did Obi not defeat Kwankwanso in the whole of the north in 2023? Is it not clear that Kwankwanso’s political permutation, if all goes well, is to use Obi and Obidients as part of his campaign team for his 2031 plan? How do you expect one to step down for the other? How do you expect Kwankwanso to sabotage Obi, knowing that Shettima and other northern politicians are on the standby to replace Tinubu in APC in 2031? How will Kwankwanso navigate it into APC in 2031, knowing that the party will not give him the ticket, which he has been eyeing for years too?

Did you not read that all the parties affected by the last Supreme Court ruling have been interfacing with INEC? Did you not read that there were possible errors from the INEC end? Is it not better to wait for the deadline by INEC before drawing conclusions on the candidacy of NDC in Kano? Even at that if Kabir and Kwankwanso remained in NNPP, how would APC defeat them in 2027?

Politics is a business of interest and not family or friendship. Kabir had the right to choose APC as his future to retain power. Kwankwanso too had to right to calculate his interest and align with Peter Obi to project himself in 2027 and 2031. Kwankwanso is in the business of defeating Kabir, Ganduje and APC. Kano is his base and he must neither surrender his base nor lose his base to others. Ganduje, irrespective of whatever you perceive as grievance, would never want to lose Kano to Kwankwanso. That’s his bargaining chip. If he loses Kano elections to NDC while supporting Kwankwanso, what will he bring to the table with Tinubu when offices are shared, if Tinubu wins?
