It has been proven in cattles, don't know about fish... Cattles that struggle before death usually give strong beef due to accumulation of adrenaline during the struggling process. |

Brother, I ll help you. I had a similar problem until I got my priorities right. You have to understand that lectures are not as important as what you assimilate from the lecture, and that can effectively be done through reading. Most Nigerian lecturers only dicate note in the class. That been the case. Find a way to conserve your strength during the day. Take advantage of quick breaks. Using the library can be very effective. If you wake up early, spare 30 minutes to go over lecture notes and do marathon reading on weekends. I believe you should be able to cover a lot. I pray you success in your exams. |
Nice1 bro. Then he ll say he has been called upon by concerned people to represent them. |
You have to give it to both fighters, Isreal is a precision striker and Gastelum is no walk over. He used the over hand strike very well, a technique that is mostly favoured by short fighters to cover for what they lack in height. Isreal against silva was more of a transition for Isreal, both fighters were very careful and didn't go all out against each other. Isreal knew he had a lot to lose in the match if he gets beaten by a old Spider. Isreal and Usman are making us proud. One day, I might be the next big thing in fight sport. |
This is Mustapaha Sego, no 1 in Onala Adeniji Adele area. He was deputy for the late Omoalaba Taju who died under mysterious circumstances. He rode on the fame of Omoalaba but he is holding his area tight |
Whao, you are learned in martial art. I don't know people know of the art muay thai in this part of the world. I learnt muay thai too and I can say it's one of the realest shit out there. |
Personally I ll say the man went a bit too far but then if you haven't been in someone's shoe, you can tell how you ll react under such circumstance. Although there are 3 sides to a story, the narratives from the perspective of either party and the truth. I ll use the opportunity to share my own truth. I have felt and wanted to do even far worse. Call me anything you like, but I consider myself one of the rarest breed. I had a girlfriend whom I had assisted to open a shop, although I had gotten the shop for myself after I arrived Nigeria. I went for my m. sc outside the country when I met the lady on social media. She ll cry every time about beint alienated and having no one. I had planned on staying back for my PhD but I decided I should come home to meet her. I got to Naija and I was luckt to be picked for the Fg Youwin connect. I decided I could use the money to establish something for myself since staying outside wasn't my thing. I searched and travelled wide for Job. Then I decided to open a jewelry shop since it was a family thing. I could do better than most people since I grew up on the Island around Docemo lagos where my family trade in Jewelry and accessories. I got a shop for myself in Ilorin and for some time I was hoping to get some money from Jobs I do for people outside Nigeria. Not to bore you with my story, I got a lecturing job in Nigeria and I wasn't feeling fulfilled. The job environment didn't give room for growth, everything was archaic and outdated. I decided I have to leave the country since I got invitations from friends who wants to help me financially in order to return for my PhD. As regards the shop, I involved the lady since she seem to be doing good in her own business. I told her to come as a patner and much to her credit she worked hard to develop the business. I returned for my PhD where I had to work for 14 hours a day including saturday and Sundays by writing and editing for folks in order raise money to cover my tuition and survive. It is a very dehumanizing work rate as it deals with efficiency. Now my gf ll hardly put a call across and she ll tell me about being occupied at the shop or some sort of flimsy excuse. Now she portays herself as the CEO of the business when we clearly agreed that was for me. She hardly ever listens and went on a rant about how I am enjoying myself outside the country. She moves with a n army of friends telling me how they feel she is a being enslaved in the relationship. Some other things ensured which I wouldn't want to put up for public consumption. I tell you there was a time when it took me the last ounce of sanity to put a call across to some of my street niggars to cause a little accident in the shop. |
chukwuaustin:I hope you took a deep breath to read what you typed here "Can a non fulani northern be the sultan?". Now let me ask you, can a yoruba man become Eze ndigbo ? |
You seem to have a great deal of knowledge about the Eyos. I remember growing up in Lagos island, the god-mother for the Bajulayes used to live in our house so the Onikos do come around to pay homage to her. I think there used to be a very tall man called Baluba amongst the Oniko. The Eyo Eti are quite notrorious for causing mayhem back then. If I am correct, the palace for the Eti is somewhere around patty/ freeman which is Akindele stronghold. |
