Good morning all, pls how can one do portal registration for returning student. My friend ought to have graduated but had issues with his project and now his HOD called him that two courses have been added and so he needs to take the courses before he will be allowed to graduate, reason for the portal registration. Please assist with the url link and steps to do the portal registration so he can proceed to register the courses.

These are major courses in my opinion. Before the close of reg this semester, I think the convocation will take place. You can hold on for now to see if your name will come out before you register. You are at the mercy of your departmental officers.
Thank you. You have been helpful
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by elguaje(m): 9:20pm On Feb 19
Enskynelson:

It largely depends on the outstanding courses left. While some can be overlooked, some core courses cannot.
For instance, no matter your TCE, if you don't pass seminar, project or Teaching Practice, the student cannot graduate.
The department sometimes look at some core courses and waive them but that is at their discretion.
So, are the courses left CORE courses or they are electives?
4 core
1 Elective
This are the courses
MTH 101 core
MTH 103 core
PHY 101 core
PHY 191 core
CIT 463 Elective
I’m studying information technology
Thank you

If you have graduated,
1. Apply to the Bursar through your Study Centre Director
2. Attach your e-wallet
3. Attach all you Remita receipts
4. Submit a copy of your certificate
5. Attach a copy of your Clearance from your study centre

If however you are yet to graduate, I don't think there's provision for that. You may send a ticket via the support and see if they can provide you with the guidelines.

Acidosis:
Being QUIET s not necessarily a sign of weakness. Not knowing how to say NO is a sign of weakness.

A quiet man who tells you NO with a straight face without unecessary shalaye is feared the most.

What you should realize is that being too loud most often turn you to a JOKE, especially when your loudness doesn't match with your action.

Whenever a QUIET man talks, everybody listens. A loud person only gets the attention of strangers. Those who know the loud man for his loudness rarely take him seriously.

Go to your study centre, change of Study Centre form will be given to you to fill. You will have to write a letter requesting for change of Study Centre. You will also need to attach some documents regarding this. Your Study Centre Admin will tell you what and what to attach.
thank you

You also need your school ID card.

If you didn't do clearance before Convocation, go to your Study Centre, they will tell you what and how much to pay. Also, you are not supposed to pay for any other thing after your clearance
Good morning, what are the process involved in change of study centre?

I find myself in the problematic territory of not even caring to try these days. I was shy when younger, not so much now.

Just a few weeks ago a friend of mine was going out on a date(?) with this girl, but the girl insisted on bringing a friend and in turn he asked me to come with him to balance things out. I agreed.

We went and picked them up and went to an ice cream and small chops place.

At the beginning I put in effort and tried to entertain the girl's friend, talking to her, asking questions, but Midway I lost all motivation and just stopped. Not because the friend necessarily did anything wrong, but something inside me just wasn't feeling the situation. And I was just sitting there dead silent put on my earphones and couldn't even be bothered to say a word for the rest of the evening.

Maybe I just wasn't getting enough feedback from the girl, IDK, but sometimes I think I'm dead inside when it comes to romance.
i can relate lol, but this annoying thing called “small talk” is actually a major way that people connect with each other.

As a real niggarrr way i be plus the fact say i be realist and also i nor be hypocrites...I go advise you to confirm first if the bride price of that woman was paid or they were just cohabiting...if the latter is the case then go ahead and bang her..but if her bride price was paid...my nigggar don't bang her
I remember my grandfather will always warn me...that banging a woman way them don pay her bride price dey hinder man progress except she can show a certificate of divorce or proove with evidence say she and the husband don really divorce

Career / Re: Is The Legal Profession As Lucrative As It Used To Be? by elguaje(m): 2:55pm On Jul 18, 2020
Vianna:
In my opinion, I think it's no longer as lucrative as it used to be and it's a very sorry situation. A lot of lawyers roaming the streets, they are suffering. Some of the many problems are

1. Too many graduates, little job slots

2. Senior colleagues are not ready to give the younger ones a chance

Most lawyers are "charge and bail" . They roam the streets and advertise their services to potential clients and they don't even have a place to call office. Many of them loiter in court premises all day under the hot sun and await the arrival of the police, hoping that the police would bring some accused persons who do not have lawyers to defend them. The moment this happens, the lawyer would approach the accused (usually agberos, louts and unfortunate Nigerians who the police had decided to transfer his frustrations on. ) and offer his service either directly to the accused persons, or through his relatives or friends who followed him to court. After a certain meagre fee is paid. The lawyer will appear before the magistrate and orally apply for bail, which in most cases would be granted if the offence(s) is a bailable one.

Being a lawyer in today's Nigeria is overrated, studying in school for 5 years to become a lawyer is a waste of time. To me it's more meaningful if used as a part time job while you venture into business or entrepreneurship.

I dey with you
