priceaction: They have started with their doom saying again. They talked about this 4 years ago, and they were proved wrong. At least we were able to survive and manage it well. This would have happened assuming ND avengers keep causing havoc but it was also well managed. The structures of Nigeria and Venezuela are different. venezuela is under sanction, nigeria, no. Venezuela has post unrest situations, not in nigeria, there is fractional supports of opposition government from surrounding countries including america but in nigeria, no opposition or parallel government as at now, and everyone has moved on except atiku and pdp that likely go to court. The structures on ground are not the same.
Yes, poor economic policies by buhari led government may allow some foreign investors to be skeptical about investing in nigeria but is not as bad as they foresee. The main problem is that many free and stolen money that many advanced countries like UK see from Nigerian government in the past has drastically reduced. They depend on those money to grow their own economy and now no free corrupt money while the one they are protecting are been put under pressure to be recovered. They should face their brexit wahala and leave us alone until things stabilize. no free money to the west n yet d one we have isnt anywere to b found....its loan after loan ur principal takes left right n center n nothing to show for it...u better wake up n see criticism as a way to better yourself |

festacman: Are members of non-constitutional National Peace Committee trying to be relevant or what? Why are they creating a problem by trying to solve non-existent problem? Why giving Atiku a platform to create false negative narratives about the president? This is unfair and counterproductive.
All of a sudden some persons who lost an election are giving those who won conditions for accepting defeat. Thats a very dangerous precendence for the future. Nothing wey person no go hear for this country!
On three occasions Buhari lost similar election but he did not give Obasanjo or Yar"adua any conditions. Rather he went to court. Let Atiku go to court.
The assertion that 'tension is rising in the country' is a figment of imagination of Atiku and his stunned gang. No tension is rising. People have moved on. Heaven will not fall because Atiku lost election. Mrs. Hilary Clinton lost an election and moved on inspite of Russia interference. Why should Atiku's case be different? U idiot, buhari lost 3 elections and innocent people died like flies....abi no b all of us dey d nigeria dey see his lust for blood? |

For a mallam selling tea and noodles 10k can make u 1000 to 2500 per day... Is that true or false
For the woman selling vegetables, 10k can make her 1000 to 2500 per day true or false
For the fruit seller 10k can make her 1000 to 2500 per day right?
This are the class of people who benefit from this
That 10k can give someone 20k every month... That's extra 240k to our GDP... If they pay 10% tax that's 24k 140% profit for the government

tesppidd: A lot of extremely stupiid people who keep looking at this country from their own high grounds.
Anybody who's able to make a comment here is not among the class of Nigerians that the VP is talking about.
There are tens of millions of Nigerians who have never gathered #10,000 in their entire lives.
These Nigerians do not have no smart phones, They do not buy fuel for cars and generators, They do not hang out drinking beer every weekend, They do not have homes made of cement but wood, They do not have electric coolers in fancy kitchens but cool with firewood. They do not send their kids to school unless the government builds government schools around them.
Give these people 10k someday and see them worship you for life! Just try. Give them 10k to put into their tomato business or their grinding business and see them pray for you.
And trust me there are over 50 million of such people in Nigeria. Thunder fire u bastard. |

EmagNig: Controversial security expert, Mr Aye Dee has said Nigerians don't have the right to access internet on election day as so it should be shut down.
In his defence, Aye Dee argued that the internet encourages the spread of fake news, which is very much likely to ignite crisis across the country during and after the election.
He wrote:
Access to the internet in Nigeria is NOT a right, if @inecnigeria believes internet access during the election needs to be restricted in order to prevent the spread of #FakeNews, specifically fake election results, it would be the right thing to do for Nigeria's sake.
The internet in should be shut down by 11:59PM on Friday, Feb. 15th, 2019 and restored by 11:59pm on Saturday, February 16th, 2019. If this is not done, there will be chaos as fake results are bound to be brandished by both @OfficialAPCNg and @OfficialPDPNig, causing chaos.
In this crucial election, Nigerian cannot afford to have the electorate manipualted by rumors and propaganda emanating from both major parties. Therefore, it makes sense to ensure the sanctity of the electoral proccess by restricting access to the internet.
Bangladesh with a population of 160 million + shut down its internet before its elections, heaven did not fall, the poll was orderly , free and fair. Nigeria deserves same.
I did not say internet should be restricted for just PDP supporters or just for APC supporters, I said it should be restricted for ALL Nigerians.
https://lailasnews.com/nigerians-dont-have-right-to-access-internet-on-election-day-aye-dee Ur suggestion is very wickedly stupid, u r a paid foot soldier ringing the bell of an impending tyrannical action by dis govt. Better for u to loss ur phone n urself in d lagoon than ur suggestion becoming reality. |

handie: There's sense in what this guy is saying. A look into the western Nigeria crises of 1963( A remote cause of the military takeover of 1965 and the civil war of 1967-1970) will reveal that the announcement of fake election results by broadcast houses loyal to the two leading parties in the region greatly contributed to the crises..... In this age of social media where there's no control whatsoever over what is posted and with this tense political situation, a shutdown of the internet is somehow a right call..... Unfortunately, the SCR(Smart card readers) relies on d internet for result transmission and d cost of a total shutdown of the internet (resulting from losses that online Business will record, those who use it for educational purposes and other constructive users of the internet) is just more than the country can afford. I will recommend a shutdown of access to the various social media platform from 8am on election day till the results are officially announced by INEC U and d writer need mental checks |
