I had invited a girl on a date. I thought we could start something serious. Her father is a Secondary School Teacher while her mum is a trader. While we were considering where to go she said she'd like to go to Sahara Restaurant that she had never been there and she heard it's a nice place. . I had gone there a couple of times. This restaurant is a classy restaurant run by Arabs in Enugu. she came with 2 other girls, all were provocatively dressed and chewing gums without the slightest care in the world.
. A conversation ensued between btw us through text:
Me: babe I thought this meeting is for the both of us.
You didn't tell me you are coming with your friends.

Babe: what's wrong with my friends coming with me.
I also accompany them to meet their bfs. Besides
they are bored in the hostel and we are hungry.

(they were busy going through a big leather bound colorful menu book and placing orders)

Me: I didn't plan for this. I have a budget for our outing.

Babe: duuurrr! (carelessly chewing gum with clicking sounds)

I kept my cool as they chattered about school and gossiped about their school mates. In less than 30mins the food started coming, the only thing I could recognize was pizza which they say they'd prefer as 'take away' and a bowl of shredded Chicken Sauce. Among their orders were two glass cups of a drink I couldn't recognize and a slice of lemon hanging on the tip of each of the glass.
The waiter brought a printed bill with a shiny steel cone that they use to cover bills. I opened the cone and looked I saw N17,300
I had ordered and paid for bottled water while I was waiting for her to come.

I gently stood up, left and drove straight to another eatery.. I didn't bother switching off my phone because of 3 lousy girls. I managed to silence it though because the calls were incessant followed with countless messages that first started with insults then calmer tones of "apologies"..

Birth Alert!
My prince arrived planet earth on 7th April via Emergency C section after three days of continuous labour and hunger.
I appreciate the Lord God for making me a mother after 5 years of waiting.
For everyone who helped out in one way or the other, I say a very big thank you.
We still need your prayers as I had a severe breakdown but we will survive.

Congratulations to mamas that have delivered, those waddling, God will make it easy for you.

BS might take a while but I will surely give it.

All thanks to everybody for your prayers, may God be with you and yours.
Let me quickly do this before I get more carried away with excitement and preparations.
N.B: All dates given by scan and L.M.P had passed which were all march except the last one which I was given April 1st.
Back to the story, I went to the clinic on Tuesday and complained that i had not started feeling any pain nor see any sign. I was told by the doctor that if by next visit, I had not given birth that I would be induced. So I was expectant with lots of exercises and food with drinks that I've read and heard to cause induction. So by friday night I started feeling the pains with neither blood nor water, by 1.30am on Saturday morning I went to pee and I saw blood so I was happy as I won't be induced anymore but the drama started. Initially, the pain was minimal as I was still gisting with hubby and laughing when I get relieved. By 4.00 I was not responding to him again and he said we should be on our way to the hospital, I said no that I will wait till morning as I wouldn't want to suspect the neighbours. As I was holding chairs, sitting on glass centre table, kneeling down, lying down, the pain was getting intense. By 6.30am we were on our way to the hospital. When I was tested, the nurse told me I was 6cm dilated.. Ehhh the pains was becoming unbearable as I was saying a lot of funny statements like 'ko mo customer' meaning the pains does not know customer. My Yoruba people can relate, my body is shaking and all sorts.. I was checked again and I was 9cm my membrane was ruptured by the nurse and to main work, time to push ehhh, I was told to push. As I push the first time, I jumped off the bed because I din't really knw where I was. I was scared because I thought my baby was out already, I went back to the bed with determination to push just once more which I did and behold my prince was out crying his lungs out. I was asked of the sex which I told them. The tear was not deliberate(episitiomy), it was his head that gave me tear in three ways. It was indeed a sweet experience.

Thanks, i will check First Rivers(where is it pls?) and BMH...if they don't work I will close eyes and go back to Save A Life..I registered at Pristine but I don't like their services so I won't be going back there.

First Rivers is on Aba road by first bank bus stop. That's where I had all my children. Their services are good.

I am giving God praise for His mercy because it is not by what I will but His grace and mercy prevail .it all started on Saturday 17/03/18 I woke that morning to wee only to weep and see stain of blood on the tissue paper. I was overjoyed in heart I know am about to welcome my princess and secndly I will know what labour pain is all about.because my first baby came with ECs I got the hospital I was checked in the morning and evening with mild pain which I can't figure the time interval with OS is closed. Went back home. I manage the pain till on Sunday night when the started intense thought out Sunday night u can't sleep ,when the pain comes is like my waist is abt to pull out of my body, my hubby hand and my hand will start doing the work of massaging . on Monday morning went back to the hospital was checked again ,2cm I was now told to see my Dr . immediately Dr saw she said this pregnancy is cs o.that the baby is big ,was sent for scan the est.weight is 4.2 and see my bump u wil thinkl my baby shhld be 2kg+ . I went to submit my files for cs until I was the Dr consultant behind case to ask him some question because he assured Mr bf that I can do VBCS.immediately I met him he checked and said my baby is not up to 4kg.that should allow me to pass thru normal delivery . That when the battle started I will used one full day nobs 1cm dilated and full night 1cm dilated with strong contraction. Till on Wednesday night when I was already 7cm.contraction start decreasing . I beg all the nurse that meet me to assist me they said they can't do it since I HV gotten one cs scar before. On Thurs my baby heart has reduced,she pass her first poo in my womb. Which they all said is very dangerous I was now advice by nurses, drs on ground to do cs to safe my life and baby life.the consultant was called he checked me and he made conclusion asap for me to be taking to the theatre. The surgery was done am alive my princess is alive. God is worthy of my praises . Recovery has not be easy ... Pls, am not a good narrator bear with me.

It depends on your budget.
If you don't mind spending more, go to First Rivers Hospital or Prime Medical or Save A Life Hospital. Their services are worth the price.
Obio cottage hospital is good, from what I hear. It costs less than the above hospitals, but usually crowded. Military hospital is good, but you need permission from the military if you're not a soldier's dependant.
Let's not forget Teaching Hospital and BMH. They cost little but require that you sacrifice your time and be very patient.
