Pls mamas that had CS how did we get back our flat tummies & how long did it take to achieve that. Just when I thought my tummy is going down, I decided to go to the market one weekend & when I joined the brt queue on my way back. People I met on the queue asked me not to join the queue but rather go to the front and board since I'm preggy & before I could explain myself others on the queue joined to say I don't need to stress myself by queing, I should just go straight to the front, I didn't even know whether to start crying or laughing sef but when they insisted i just accepted that i'm preggy & that was how i jumped queue that day o chai! Upon all the peppersoup & hot water I dey drink na ao my village people take embarass me that day o, abeg na only me waka come for this one,make una help una sis o

I can't help laughing. No vex u hear.
If your tummy was flat before pregnancy, it will go back, but you need to exercise your abdominal muscles consistently. A few sit ups every morning will achieve a lot in a matter of months.
A word of caution though, don't start exercising till about 3 months after your surgery. And don't be in a hurry. Don't overstress your abdomen and please don't tie your tummy.
Your sisi shape will return soon.

So sorry cappo. You may need to see another doctor so that the pain can be managed or better still call your old doctor since he has managed you for this before. Meanwhile limit your movement. Call your office and take some days off. Do you have a help at home? Sorry o, i can imagine the pains.

I just fired my help.
I'm feeling a lot better this evening. What happened is that i forced myself to sweep and mop my house in spite of the pain cos i read that i needed to avoid sitting in one spot for more than 15 minutes. Meanwhile sitting was the only position in which i felt no pain. But i decided it would be better to suffer and get well than to become bedridden till the end of my pregnancy.
So i went about cleaning everywhere.
I didn't even realize that most of the pain was gone till a few minutes ago. Apparently my body needs exercise.

If your due date is still far then you need to get to the hospital ASAP. I had similar pains where my frontal pelvis hurt so bad as of it was stuck in one place and I had to struggle to move side to side because of the pain and the doctor told me that it's a sign of preterm labor.

He gave me muscle relaxants and the whole thing disappeared in less than 48hrs. See your doctor cos from your description it sounds like what I passed through before. Preterm labor is nothing to joke with.

Unless your due date is already here and you are experiencing labor pains.

I'm just 24 weeks pregnant. It's agonizingly difficult to get out of bed, or get up from a sitting position, or even walk.
I couldn't sleep last night because of the pain.
However there are no contractions at all, though my baby's movements are really low in my pelvis, like it suddenly changed position. My water hasn't leaked at all.
I had PPGP (Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain) towards the end of my last pregnancy. This feels just like it felt then. My doctor is in another city.

I'm literally in a world of pain right now.
I can't walk anymore. It feels like my pelvic bones are broken, but they aren't and i'm feeling my baby's movements at the lower part of my abdomen. I really don't understand what is going on.

so yesterday 16th of november was my first Dr visit@21 WEEKS and my dr asked if i have taken anti malaria and i said no. so she gave me these drugs prescription FANSIDAR AND TAB VIT BIO .
please my question is this is it safe @21 weeks prego and i did not even complain of any symptoms to her far...
Note: i know Fansidar is for malaria but what is "tab vit bio" meant for

The fansidar was given to prevent malaria. It's safe now. The only time it's unsafe is in the first trimester and the month before delivery. You're already in your second trimester.
As for the TAB VIT BIO, that sounds like vitamins but i'm not certain which one. Google it.

An ultrasound should clearly detect the presence of a baby.
Your body may still be producing pregnancy hormones.
I suggest you wait two more weeks and then repeat the blood test and ultrasound.

It doesn't always swell.
Implications : none whatsoever.
The swelling will go down with time, on its own.

During my visit to the hospital, a woman put to birth. As she was breastfeeding her child, I noticed there was no colostrum. It was just the normal watery breastmilk that came out instead of the yellowish milk. I became really worried and I asked her why? But she didn't have answers to it. Now my fear is this, during the early days of my last trimester I noticed the colostrum from my nipples but after a while I don't see it again. Is it normal not to produce colostrum immediately after birth? What is the health Implication of a child that didn't get colostrum after birth? Is there any kind of food that a mother should eat to enable her breast produce colostrum. Anyone with full knowledge and experience on this, should pls respond. Am really kindaf worried

Colostrum comes before the real milk appears and there's nothing you can actively do to produce it. You can't make it come again either, until your next baby comes.
The normal milk is still nutritious and contains all a baby needs so don't be worried.

I had it after the birth of my second. It was so bad I had to lie down permanently, as any attempt to sit up made me feel like my head was going to fall off.
It will go in a few days. I believe you are on pain medications.
One more thing, don't put your head on a pillow when lying down. It will help.
