Thank you very much for your prompt response. Please do i need to staple my documents together? Trying to avoid tension

I don't understand this your question.
Well,if "the same document" is more than one page, you need to staple it then.
Don't staple different documents together.

Pls anyone with help?
My school enrolment deadline was on the 15th Oct which I sent every other beeded document but without the visa copy which wasn't ready as at the time of submission, I also attached the mail the embassy sent me to the to the school wen sending my enrolment documents. The sch still insisted I send them my visa copy on the deadline day, I replied them that my passport is with the embassy that as soon as I get the passport I will forward the visa copy to them.
But to my greatest surprise I got my visa yesterday and I sent to the sch and was told that they can't enrol me cos its past the deadline day.
Pls any help or solution to this?

Rhine-wall university of applied sciences
Course: mobility and logistics department

Can anyone help me with course coordinators email address and contact pls

Your school is mean.
After writing and explaining that the consulate was with your passport for visa stamping, they still shut you out.
Other schools are even helping their students by calling and e-mailing the consulate on their behalf,to ensure quicker processing and granting of their visas.
God bless my course co-ordinator!
God bless the secretary of the student's services!!
These people disturbed the consulate to the extent that my course co-ordinator e-mailed me that he contacted the VO in charge of my visa processing and that he hoped my visa would be granted soon.
This gave me goose pimples.

Pls can someone help me with the list of documents I need to take for my interview... And what denomination should my visa fee be.. It's very urgent pls.

Scroll down and click on "check list students".
Go to work!
The visa fee as of when i did my interview was N36,000.00.I advise you go with more than that, incase there would be any increase.

To God Be The Glory.

Category-B

Booked appointment-1st April 2021 by 12:01am

Appointment invitation e-mail-8th July 2021

Appointment date-6th August 2021

Approval e-mail-5th October 2021

Visum-15th October 2021

My own visa processing lingered because i did the summer semester online in Nigeria,so the consulate requested for proofs in the form of-
(i.)an up to date enrollment certificate/letter from my school, showing that my enrollment is still active.
(ii.)transcription of records ie to show what i've actively done in my course of study from the day of enrollment/the day lectures started. That is,lecture notes, tests, experiments, assignments,if possible exams.

I forwarded all these to them as pdf on the 14th of August after they requested them on the 9th of August, setting 30th of August as the deadline for submission.

On 3rd September i received an e-mail from them saying that they've not received any document(i guess the mistake was from me because i didn't follow the replying sequence of the e-mails sent by the consulate, which have my visa code/number already.I sent the e-mail as a fresh one without the code. So,it was hard for them to know it was me) and i was given 7th of September as the last deadline to do so.

That same 3rd September,i forwarded the soft copies to them through the e-mails that have my visa code/number and hard copies at the consulate on the 6th of September.

And it dawned on me that it was that 6th of September that the processing of my visa application really started after having my interview over a month and hoping for an approval e-mail.

My advice-please,if your school is going online and you couldn't secure a visa that semester, join them and keep your evidences, because your successful visa application depends on the proofs that you really participated. The German consulate isn't joking about this.Infact if you did a semester online in Nigeria, include those aforementioned documents with others and submit them on your interview day to avoid delay in the processing of your visa.

All the best!
See you in Germany!!

Good morning Champs!
I commend the resilience of this group members and I pray lines fall perfectly in place for us all (one way or the other).

I have a few questions and I'd appreciate swift and concise answers.

1) While trying to rebook an appointment as the "start date" I inputted on the initial one has elapsed I came across two different kinds of visa application forms and I got confused on which was appropriate.
Below are the links to the two forms:

https://videx-national.diplo.de/videx/visum-erfassung/#/videx-langfristiger-aufenthalt

https://videx.diplo.de/videx/mobile/index.html#start

Please put me through on which is right for a study visa (Bachelor).

2) I've seen members on here mention booking dates on the first day of the month, Is it advisable that I book on any other date like today or tomorrow, or is the first day the most effective to boost my chances?

(I intend to use January or February as my new start date because the school gave me the grace to study online for my first semester.)

NB: I know the situation is almost impossible and these questions might seem pointless as several others are going through exactly what's happening to me but I can't give up due to the fees I already paid and the time and resources invested so I'd appreciate answers still on the questions raised above based on our collective experiences.

Thanks for your anticipated assistance

Leave visa application forms for now until you're given an appointment.
Check under "National visa" on their website, you'll see the link for the visa application forms, which you can print and fill while going for interview.
You can now book at any time and i hope you know the waiting period for category B applicants is one year plus.
Nobody really understands the German consulate anymore regarding appointments.
I advise you don't cancel your previous booking because someone close to me called the consulate recently to know if he can book a fresh appointment as his start date has passed and they told him to be hopeful, that passed start dates don't really matter.
If you're school is going online, please, join them in whatever they do because your successful visa application after spending at least a semester in your home country depends on proofs you really attended online.
All the best.

I'm confused about one thing though.

Any idea what happens if one's Start date passes and he hasn't been given a date yet. Will he still get a date when his waiting period is due?

Taking into account the experience of people who's got appointment dates under category B,appointments come before the start dates.
I've never seen anyone who got an invitation after the start date passed.

good afternoon everyone, I've been reading this thread for sometime now and this cat B issue is really disheartening.

Please, is there anyone here who is thinking about Austria? Nobody talks about it. Is it not advisable to go there. i just found it awkward that nobody considers it as an option here. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you

Austria is also good but most of their programmes are in German language, which means you have to present German language certificate.
Again, most of their schools also demand for German language certificate even if the course is English language taught.
For your documents to be certified by their embassy for admission processes, you have to cough out at least N300k.
They have Nigerian lawyers that verify submitted documents by Nigerians.
E no easy for Nigerians any where.

If you cannot defer the admission then pay the enrollment (but make sure the money is something that won't make you cry if you don't get a date). Then you should book by October 1st using Mid or end of April as start date (with an aim to resume Summer next year). Gather momentum now, take a chill pill of patient, resist the temptation to cancel while you wait after the booking. That August booking you did for winter with Cat B is like a waste of time, observe the trend here.

According to the information on their booking page, the waiting period for category B applicants now is more than a year.

I have 2 questions, anyone with answers can kindly let me know

1. When you cancel an appointment with the German embassy, How long do you have to wait to rebook?
2. When will they refresh their system for the year cause for people who want to book for September next year?

Thanks

It's high time some of you began to search and know some easily accessible information for yourselves.
Go to the German consulate's website and read everything about student visa and applications.
Yes,you're a student,go to work. It'd take your energy, time and resources but it's worth it,than waiting for somebody to feed you almost with every information.

To your questions-
There's nothing like refreshing the system again, particularly for category B applicants and no particular time for category B applicants to start booking(initially,it was 1st April and 1st October yearly). You can now book at any time, depending on your school's calendar for the successive year.
The waiting period for category B applicants from June this year is now more than one year.Which means if you book this September, you're likely to be invited for interview around September or October 2022.

Good day house,
Can someone kindly point me to the post were we have a compilation of multiple visa interview transcripts.

Thanks.

They might ask more, but these are the most common questions.

What's the name of the course you're going for in Germany?

Why this course?

Why not study it in Nigeria,USA,Canada,UK etc?

What's the name of the school?

What did you study in your bachelor's?

What's your bachelor's thesis?

What did you learn from your bachelor's thesis?

How is your bachelor's related to this course?

Are you going to come back after your studies and what are you going to do?

Are you going to set up your own firm in this field?

What do you know about Germany-politically, geographically and economically?

What's Germany's GDP?

Do you have or know someone in Germany-family member, friend etc?

What does the person(s) do?

God's grace all the way.

I am writing this here because I see what Nigerian students and not just Nigerian students but African students at large are going through regarding this Germany situation and after a long time of being involved in this situation I can say that something doesn't quite add up.

Not to discourage anyone but this German thing is now a racket, a well calculated one if I may add. The thing don pass getting a date for interview. I know people that got dates in Benin and also in Ghana and after weeks of waiting, they had their visa denied for some of the most frivolous reasons. It is know about who you know and how you can "cheat" the system using the help of an "inside man" ......keep reading.

These Germans are now using African students to raise funds through their visa fees of 75 euros, similar to what the Americans did a couple of years ago. It's a calculated scheme, dem don see sey we dey desperate, I know of people who also funded blocked account, submit health insurance proof on the DAY of the interview, VO collect money, keep the applicants waiting for 9 weeks (current waiting period) and then after all that time they came up with a silly reason of denial. E don red now. The Germans however are very pretentious people and they are trying to white wash their image so they would rather bring in Afghans, Iraqis and Syrians that have absolutely no skill and can neither speak German or English, they do all this just to have the image of a caring nation on the global stage as they are historically known as being a very power drunk and manipulative nation, so guess what happens when these Afghans and Syrians with no skill come into Germany? They are totally unemployable and can't pay taxes so the German government place them on welfare and do you know one of the ways (note that I said one of the ways, it's not the only way but one of it) the German government get funds for their welfare programs? Through the visa fees that gets paid globally by numerous desperate African students looking for a better life.

The USA did this and after African students realized and stopped flooding the USA embassy, what happened? They started making their application system a little more easier as they desperately need the funds from the Visa fee. UK did it also when Theresa may was the PM, Now they are trying to make the UK attractive for African students by promising an 18mths stay after studies. Germans now have gotten the idea, they offer free education alright so you might ask, so where do they get their money from? Visa fees and in some cases that YOUR money that is in blocked account, it's only there in numbers as anyone who knows how the banking sector operates knows that funds are used for large scale trades - Forex, Hedge funds, Real estate and more recently Crypto. So while you are appealing your denial or praying and fasting you are contributing to the Visa scam that has been going on in the German embassy across Africa for about 2 years now, while they in turn use your money to trade and accommodate refugees who have no skills and no plans of assimilating or contributing to society while desperately trying to launder their image as a new Germany, a new image far away from the "world domination" days.

Guys, wake up. Germany don cast. Not just for Nigeria. I know Africans that also share this sentiment. Some ask their Asian friends to show them their own application and guess what, the Asian motivation letter and application is below the standard of the African but the Indian/Pakistani application is accepted over that of the African.
I have a friend, he is from the Republic of Benin ( I no go drop him name as na my guy and I no want cast am lol. His application was also rejected but now he is in Germany, do you know how he overturned the rejection? A fellow Benin man who works as a V.O exchanged numbers with the guy and gave him tips on how to overturn the rejection, what to bring, how to write his appeal letter basically the V.O gave the guy a cheat sheet and now the guy is in Germany ( wouldn't mention the City). True Story.

Guys no be everything person go talk for here. Germany don cast. Try other places.

I.am.out.

I was patiently reading this long and empty passage to see where you would mention that at least one person was given visa.
All I see is denial!denial!!denial!!.
So,German consulate no longer issue visas to students except you go through the "back yard" or know someone inside?
So,you haven't seen those given visas on this platform?
I accept the fact that the quota for student visa application in Nigeria is few and this is hitting category B applicants hard, except that, every other thing you wrote here is nonsensical.

Visa application booking is when you book for an interview and that comes with a prompt when all your details are correct.

After your interview, you get your passport sent to you with a visa or with reasons why you were not given visa

No.
After the interview, you'd be given back your passport.
You'll get visa approval/rejection mail after some weeks of interview.
If approved, you'll go to the consulate with your passport for visa stamping.
