Your interest for Saturday and Sunday is paid on Monday between the 9am to 2pm or sometimes to 3pm. What I do is to check every 30 minutes from 9am and you will notice the first difference from which you can calculate the interest rate. Continue checking as stated above and you will see that of Sunday and Monday and then you can calculate the interest rate. From my experience, weekend rate is close to what is quoted on the website on Thursday. I know this is a crooked way of checking but I am impressed with the redemption speed. Develop an excel sheet to enable you compare the quoted and actual rate. jpphilips: Axa mansard does not credit me on Fridays & Mondays, it stays put on previous week's Thursday rate till Tuesday next week. Have you bothered to ask yourself how they arrived at what they credited you?

Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by elothaddi(m): 9:45pm On Sep 17, 2018 |
I agree with you with respect to their redemption service. As with regards the daily interest, I have my own excel sheet where I compare the quoted and actual interest and there has not been much difference. The most important thing for me is the redemption service. hias2012: AXA has both mobile and web tools for monitoring your investments. In addition, they have good rates on average most of the time. They also handle redemption within 24hrs of request. They are in fact one of the best. Load the mobile app from playstore by searching with MyAXA. Follow the link below for the web tool. However, you have to have requested for online access. Happy investing. https://www.axamansard.com/myaxa/index.aspx?ir=1 |

1) You need to be withdrawing that money (10k) monthly to give to your brother so with TB you have that money which can be re-invested in MMF. 2) With MMF, you have access to the interest every quarterly (I think). Any attempt to withdraw this 10k every month affects your principal and the future interest. The interest only becomes part of your Principal after 3 months if you don't touch it. 3) Interest in MMF could either rise and fall in the course of this one year you are talking about. Miders: Why do you say the TB option is better? Are you saying at the end of one year the investment in the money market fund will return less than my capital of N1million due to the monthly withdrawal of 10k? |
Investment › Re: Mutual Funds by elothaddi(m): 8:29am On Jun 12, 2018 |
1) Based on the two scenario, the TB option is better plus ignore the guy above me who has not answered your question. Miders: Am not sure how these money market funds interests are applied, is it compounded with existing balance daily or just once on the initial capital annually? Which investment option would actually yield more returns within one year (365 days) in the two scenarios below.
a) Invest N1million in TB @12%, so as to use the interest of roughly 120k paid upfront to give my brother a monthly allowance of 10k for that year. At the end of one year from date of my investment which is the maturity date I get my initial capital back with no addition or subtraction.
b) Invest N1million in a Money Market Fund that yields an average of 12% P.A, withdraw only the 10k needed for my brother's upkeep every month till the end of that year. At the end of that year would i be left with exactly my initial capital, more than it or less than it? Am not sure because i dont know how the interest is applied considering my constant monthly withdrawal.
Gurus in the house please help analyse these scenarios if you know. |

Using the AXA Mansard app, I tried increasing my funds in my account only to notice an additional 1k ''transaction charge'" so I stopped and tried their website and there was no such charge. So my question is, do we always have these 'charges' when using the AXA Mansard app ? |

Nice of you to share your little experience but if I may ask what's your field ? lalaazo: My fellow Nigerians, I commend everyone for the keen spirit and Goodwill. One way or the other, you folks have contributed to my success; consciously or otherwise.
This is my 4th Month in Australia as a migrant (189) and I must say it's one of the most thoughtful decisions I have ever made asides getting a spouse. With the permission of my ogas I would like to drop the full gist/ timeline in the other room.
However, a simple breakdown goes thus: Arrived Melbourne 10/10/17 Got my Professional job 23/10/17 without aussie local experience/ driver's licence. Got my first paycheck 08/11/17(the rate is ) Currently working in Sydney on a major capital Metro project. I give God all glory and honour......

Can you clear me Sir please ? How would he reap #100k every month as they mature if he invest #100k monthly ? Investnow2017: You mean you plan to invest N100k every month in this manner? That is a good strategy. Because by the time it is ripe, you would be reaping N100k every month as they mature. |

That your 200k or 60k will be gone before you know it. Shine your eyes oo. Like Zany stated, read from Page 0 to 10 and then ask specific questions. Dgovernor88: A special greetings to all the elders in this thread. Please I need your advice on how to go about this Australia work permit, I was introduced to one agent and she told me that she is going to help me in processing the visa but she will take 1.8m but first I will have to make a deposit of 200k for a start then when my visa is out I will pay the remaining money. And I also have another person who told me the same Australia work permit at the same rate of 1.8m and Australia employment visa at 1.750m but I will have to make a deposit of 60k at a start. And he also tell me about New Zealand visa at the rate of 1.5m with a deposit of visa fees 60k. But the problem now is that I don't know how to go about it do to what is happening now in Nigeria through some so called agents. So please if there is any one on this thread that can help me with a good advice on how to go about it because am a kind of confused right now thank you all Waiting to get a good reply. |
