Hi everyone

I've never done TB before. Just doing MMF for a long time so I liquidated day before yesterday and wanted to invest on TB. Got my cash back yesterday night and I walked to the bank this morning to obtain a 91days tenor for TB via the primary but was told I'll have to wait two weeks time. Although they offered me a secondary rate @ 10.97% which is lovely to me but I stalled cos I don't know if the secondary has some reasons that can't match primary. Other rates they offered me are 182 for 11. Sth%, and 364 for 13.5%

If you're wondering why I quoted 10.97% as lovely, that's because I only want to stick to 91days and 10% is very much ok for me to be honest

Hello fellow investors,

I want to move my fund from MMF to treasury bills for 375 days. Is there guaranty I will succeed in getting primary market offer from any bank. I tried TB some years back but my bid wasn't successful, so first bank returned my money instantly.

is it N144.984k or 144,984 naira? if it is former, your interest is rolled over with the principal. perhaps you inadvertently checked that option in your form. The interest that is less than multiple of N1,000:00k is now left in your account.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by elothaddi(m): 8:54pm On Oct 04, 2018
Enjoy your interest, request for your certificate and you will get your principal back after 91 days. Meanwhile, it seems you were given a rate of 10.5% which is still ok and not ok lol.

Thanks for prompt response. The interest alert is 144 984.55 naira. I don't get how 10.57% of 5.5 million is meagre 100k.

The later, please. In fact 144 984.55 naira. Ah don't understand
