Thank you for this response. I have struggling to solve this problem of payslips and I was even thinking of preparing for my self. In my own case , all payment was made into my account and I printed them.
(quote author=kamotisha post=61392280]
This is a dicey one. How were you paid? If they paid into your bank account, print out your statement of account and use a highlight pen to highlight your salary coming in. I have over 7 years experience but i didnt have payslips for the first 10 months. Out of the 10 months, I was paid by hand for 6 months and paid into acct for the remaining 4 months. I submitted my statement of account for the 4 months and it was counted. The 6 months which I was paid by hand wasn't counted as I had no proof. Luckily for me, the deduction didn't have an effect on my points. So you can do same. Hope this helps... All the best!
|

Payslip is simply your payslip. Your company should provide that. For reference letter, just a letter stating all required by dibp like Job title, working hours, renumeration, duties....
|

Thanks for your response. Ifexsco: Studied Petroleum Engineering, was lecturing in a private university down at Nigeria. |

If I may ask, what course did you study and where you working in Nigeria before moving to Australia. Ifexsco: My people....being a while! The journey so far.... I and my family landed Sydney 29th December 2016. I bin know as my pocket be, so I sharply go do construction white card and began doing labourer work. On the other hand I started very enthusiastically with professional job search, applying for all available petroleum engineering jobs and other allied positions....Brethren one month became 2 and 2 became 3.....the responses were all negative! "We thank you for taking out time to apply....unfortunately you have been unsuccessful at this time....blah blah bla.....however we will keep your details on our database blah blah bla". I got so discouraged, stopped applying, and went deep into the labourer work as man had to survive. I started thinking of doing my Phd and made some applications. Along the line I applied for a role in a car modification company amd that was the first and only semi-professional interview i was invited for. Went and was told I didn't have the needed experience but they were willing to trying me out in the workshop and see where they could fit me. I was of the mind that this might be God and may be my opportunity. I informed my construction agency that I am quitting. Went to the workshop and hadn't even finished the first day of work when I was told I dont have basic knowledge of tools...the company doesn't have the resources to train from scratch and that my services are no longer required. I sharperly called my construction agency people and I was accepted back to the fold and advised to quit dreaming. This continued till May when through my good friend and by "packaging", I landed a causual position as a computer technician....I have not done anything similar before....but as it turned out, its not rocket science and if you put your heart to it, you will get it.....I actually got good in it at least the hardware part.....it was good will it lasted....break from back breaking construction work, money for travel, hotel lodging, hire car etc....but then the end came and in order to be kept within the fold, I was sent to go and do desktop support....again I had no idea of what it involved. But God gave me a wonderful Indian superior, Senthil who taught me from scratch and most importantly covered my ass.... But then no be because of causual job I come Australia....Admission to PhD program arrived and I left and went and did cert III in preparation so I can do it by the side and be earning.
So I took a difficult decision and moved from Sydney to Perth to start my PhD at Curtin University. Person bin don dey set root for ground for Sydney small small....its going on fine, keeps getting better.... I can see better days ahead....I can feel it within my bones!
Hope this encourages someone....it may not be easy but keep at it....it only gets better. |

Yes it is true. Only Wednesdays. oddysey: Hello all,
Please I read somewhere that the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) can only picked up on Wednesdays for candidates in PH. I intend picking mine up on Monday to see if I can enter the pool before the next draw.
Please, are there any Port Harcourt candidates who picked their TRF from the British Council on any other day but Wednesday? Your response will be well appreciated. |

It means you will be paid (0.60*1000) - (10% of (0.60*1000)) = N540 only = (600) - (10% of (600)) = 600 - 60 = 540 The 10% deduction is for tax. castrokins: What Does The 60k Imply For A Shareholder Of 1000 Units (ordinary) Shares? |

No. They only assess what you have given to them. 40manlappy: For those who got their credentials assessed by either IQAS or WES and submitted just the highest qualification e.g MSc; did the two bodies request for your secondary school qualification such as GCE/WAEC certificates? |

I am in support of people posting questions here as well, so that subsequent applicants will always have access to the information. I think I might soon stop coming to the thread from April due to some changes in Schedule. That will be a year after my PPR. I don try jawe. |

Aside registering with job sites like Indeed.ca, monster etc and randomly checking company website, is there any other better means of looking for jobs in those provinces ? dupyshoo: I am only just hearing about this. Thanks for sharing the info. I have just read about it. The good thing is that job offer does not require LMIA. It is therefore a good opportunity to migrate to Canada for those with low CRS scores. For anyone who has plans to utilise this route, It is better to start looking for jobs in the provinces now. |

Hello Dupyshoo, Could you assist me with a sample of a POF draft. I am also combining several accounts for my POF. Thank you in advance. dupyshoo: Yes, I paid both at the time of submission.
It depends on your POF. For my POF, I had to combine several accounts. Hence, there was need for me to explain my POF very well in order for the visa Officer to understand. If you are submitting only one account statement as POF, then my POF draft will not be beneficial. |

Bros, do you stay in port Harcourt and if you do,where exactly? Secondly,Rivers state has enough recreational centres for its citizens, can you tell me what big outing destination that's not overcrowded during festive period that is taking Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja as case study Thirdly, investors in rivers state are highly welcome ,the only thing is the lands we have here are damn expensive ,let's say 11 million for one plot,if you cannot afford it ,leave our land for us and also before a company is set up on in a land MoU must be reached between community people and the owner of the establishment, after all,you are there to make profit, and I don't think there demands are tasking because they weight the firm before demanding
You have truly spoken like a typical indigene of Rivers State. 90% of the indigene are like that and I am not surprised. Why must a company sign MOU to pay your chiefs in the name of the community bla bla plus the numerous troubles from the youth who will demand to be paid monthly and slots/position in the company. If the demands are not terrible, why is it that a lot of non-oil related companies collapse after 1 or 2 years.
Go to the SW and see how things are done.
Stop lying, there is no recreational centre/places in Port-Harcourt. For outings me and my family go to Enugu and Lagos. |

Thanks Bimpsy99 for re-posting what deking posted sometime ago because I was about asking the minimum CRS score that one can get to position himself/herself for Provincial nomination. Because with my age (35) and wife's score, that's the only alternative left for me to get more than 400 CRS score
I intend to re-write IELTS exams in November to boost my CRS score to at least 429. Previous score was R-6.5, W-6.5, L-7.0, S-7.0.
ANYMORE HELPFUL HINTS TO HIT CLB9/10 IS WELCOMED. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
