Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 8:37pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
DeeJay20: This is my last attempt of trying to reason with you. This thread is about trying to ask if Nigerians can unite and demand change. You on the other hand are just providing answer to a question no one is asking. Brotherhood or no brother hood, that has been mentioned already on several news channel, however it is not relevant to this debate. Finally, having Egyptian friends and what not means what exactly to the thread at hand? |
Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 8:33pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
DeeJay20: Your post is making very little sense. There is no on-going election in the two nations - Tunisia and Egypt - concerned. Maybe you are too advance for me, do you mind stating in simple English what you are talking about? |
Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 8:30pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
DeeJay20: I am not sure there is anyone here who post just for an ovation either. Dude, your views are not saying anything not known already. Some even pointed out it was irrelevant to the post at hand. All you appear to do is just ignore what's been said and try to post something else. Let me ask you this, do you think the situation in Nigeria is the same or similar to the events leading to protest in the aforementioned nations? Do you think the people in Nigeria are able to stand up and unite and demand the resignation or stepping down of those in power without letting tribalism or religion bigotry play part? |
Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 8:19pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
DeeJay20: With all due respect, do you really feel pushing your views on to people will get any where? So far most have ignored your post, and the few who replied, you seem not to even take on board what they are saying. Smh. |
Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 8:17pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
Ikengawo: Anyone who remotely have a different view from you is dense? We as a people are quick to look at any situation in any part of the world that differs from our own, and because it's different assume it's better for reasons that are beyond me. Speak for yourself. How is the situation in Tunisia or that on-going in Egypt different from Nigeria? People want change, people are fed up of high prices, people are fed up of basic amenities lacking, people are fed up of a lot of things. Can you spot any similarities? No offence, but some foreign things (not necessarily people and language) are just better than what we may have at home. This is just being real and not putting on a rose tinted-nationalism glasses. This is the new own that puzzles me. Nigerians now think what is happening in Tunisia is comparable to their situation and is what is 'needed'. All of these examples of total confusion stem from 1 source. Look above sir. To claim there is no similarity in between Nigeria and the nations where the uprising has happened and it is on-going is just not true.
The problem here is you have no idea what this thread is about, but assuming that you do! And in the process coming across as dismissive, when in actual fact your views so far will suggest you know very little.
So using your logic, a man in the village who do not have electricity and water should as a result have the understanding of how NEPA (or what ever the new name is now) works and how the forces of demand and supply are at work? In the UK, petrol prices are at all time high, yet to the ordinary motorist all they care about is the price coming down, not the reason why it was high in the first place. Even if they do understand the problem, surely it is out of their hands? What I am saying is that people do not need to know the root cause of a problem, before they can point out there is a problem. Jeez.
See, and this is you claiming you know the root cause of the problem! You appear to be generalising and blaming the ordinary citizen while ignoring the part the people in power play in the systemic decaying of nigeria over the years. Are you serious? You have to look at the bigger picture sometimes, and I think if we have to point out who is responsible for the state Nigeria is in, it will be the few who have been in the seat of powers and responsible for the faith of millions. As per the rest of your post, it is hurting my head reading it, so I won't bother replying to them. Smh. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Number Of British Muslims Will Double To 5.5m In 20 Years by ElRazur: 5:36pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
It is all projections to be honest and probably a little bit sensationalist. As much as I do not share the belief in god, it however does makes a scary thought - A world where muslims are the majority! Holy shite, we all know how they are always demand shit and try to implement shit once they are in the majority. Seriously, Man should consider a move to other planets where Islam is at least abolished. By the way, just because Christians ain't blowing things up and killing people who do not convert do not make them less devout in my opinion. |

Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 5:25pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
proudly9ja: I see your point, me I just add a different, but relevant angle to it. I hate to say this, but the IQ level on a social cohesion of my people is very low and almost known existent outside the boundaries that we all share. In order words, I am saying my people cannot see past where certain people come from, what their beliefs are etc so I really do not see how my people will now get up and speak in one voice. From my perspective, the situation has been long ripe - Economic instability, rising social cost, social injustice etc - but for some reason, naijans are just not ready. I came across a mantra of "change" the other day and from the top of my head, it is split into three levels (1) Those who are ready to make changes and will go to the extra mile to make it happen. (2) Those who want change but are not willing to pay the price. (3) Those who are not remotely bothered to even think about change. After reading that piece, I am of the belief that Nigeria is made up of most people with a mindset from (2) and (3) As much as we see this wave of changes sweeping in some parts, I am of the opinion that it will never happen in Nigeria. Not in this current climate anyway. After all, we've had it worse than this before and nothing happen - Military regime et al. ikay88: Corruption is not about to go away in Nigeria. The same old wine will always taste the same in a new bottle, no matter how fancy the bottle looks. Finally, your point highlights exactly why our people in my opinion no get liver for naija. After one or two people is shot, the crowd disperse and that's the end of it. Where is the public rage and show of anger? Where are the activists coming out with all the people supporting them? On contrast in Tunisia, a few people died in the demonstration, but it never stopped them. You see, that one na the liver I was talking about. Whether Egypt sef get liver remains to be seen. I believe there is a curfew going on right now over there. Let us see if people will brave the bullets of the Army and still carry on protesting. |

Politics / Re: The Rise Against Operation In The Middle East. Will Naijas Learn? by ElRazur: 12:19pm On Jan 28, 2011 |
Truth be told, naijans no get liver. The only ones who get liver and willing to die for a cause are the illiterate Muslims pushing for Sharia law up north. I do not foresee enough momentum to even bring about someone setting themselves on fire in act of self sacrifice talk-less of a mass protest against the government. Period. Using myself as an example, I will not die for naija nor will I die for my people period. No, I am not a coward, but like most millions of Nigerians, there aren't enough reasons for me to want to do such a thing. Having said that, I have a few point of views, beliefs, state of mind et al that I will die for. Naija is just not one of them. |

TeeBoy Wetin happen naa? Lwkmd. Like I have said, your game is basics. You play like a FIFA player. You know, knock the ball to the left wing, pass across to Messi, take messsi do agidi to run and score. Out side of this, can you play anything else? Your moves are so predictable that I literally know where your next movement and passing will be. This I showed you in the last three games where I won comfortably. By the way, why do you always run off when I am starting to beat you? Abeg naa, that na cheating. Whenever I lose, I just carry on and replan my game. Na so abi? I checked the records last night and you were leading by 9 games. Don't worry I will be level over the weekend. You are that rubbish. Lmao that you claimed to be on the phone when I destroyed you and your messi. Were you on the fone the second game too? lwkmd. |
Gaming / Re: Mobinga Don't Dull. by ElRazur: 5:25pm On Jan 27, 2011 |
Far from it, I was merely pulling his legs. He is usually late with his news. I mean like a week old or something. No worries though, people like him are needed at NTA in naija lol. I think the whole idea is to get some revenue from the "Casual gaming market". Remember it is a joint venture between Sony and Erricsson, so it won't be all bad for Sony if it fails. Having said that, I fully expect Sony to push that pspphone. |
Gaming / Re: Pro Evo Mini League On Psn And Nairaland? by ElRazur: 5:06pm On Jan 27, 2011 |
Hahah See this guy wan do me wayo. I never ever use Barcelona, check my play history with you. Nah only you dey run go pick am. The last two times I used Barca, just to prove to you that Barca is a form of cheating I beat you well. I can still beat you without barca. I am working on a few formation. After all you do is pass to messi then use him to run and score. That is ALL your game. Once Messi is man marked or shackle down, you find it hard to do anything meaningful. Anyway, you are leading by 4 or 5 games (not sure) but all it takes is just a couple of match and I will feed you to the birds. PS You have a higher scoring ratio than me. This I think is down to the fact you use Barca. Many people detest using barca as it is considered a form of cheating. Very hard to defend against. I never believed this until I used Barca against you. Our game was then level and all that matter then was skills. This I showed you that you lack. From using Barca I can see that they have some form of unusual-and-hard-to-explain-advantage. Personally, I no dey like use them, but I just had to check it to make sure, and I was right. YOu are still not as good. |

Join the community we set up, or send invite to both of us. Update Nice playing tb7 so far. He's been winning most games to be honest and improved a lot. However, I soon discover that he can only play with Barca and run with messi. As soon as I picked Barca as well, I just beat his arse down. So technically, he is still crap. Overall, he's leading as I let him used barca for a long time. As it stand now, no more Mr Nice guy. If you pick Barca, I will simply just pick barca and beat the crap outtta you. It can only be fair. PS We need more people to join us. |

Tosin, na personal preference now. Shey you go dislike me if I tell you say I no dey drink? Commot for here jare. bjmighty: To be fair, loads of people talking about the "soo woo" song but my dislike for autotune and lil wayne style of rapping no let me see am. I go listen to am again sha, but I am not so sure my mind will change. Omo 29 tracks of fire, I need to carry on today and keep listening. It appears Game and DJ Skeen don drop the further tracks that do not make it on to the mixtapes. So far, loads of people are giving it very good reviews. Even new york times halla in a good way sha. Good times. By the way, the business of not releasing the R.E.D album is apparently down to Interscope or something and the whole idea of this mixtape is to get some radio air play and that will force the record label to release the album. Personally, me I go like make him release the album after Detox, assuming Dre is dropping that soon. |

This mixtapes should be an Album! I dare anyone to listen to "the kill" and "Heart breaker" and not feel this joint. Personally, from production point of view, I think Heart breaker is a good work. It combined Jazz and Soul type of sound for Game to flow on. Just checked, and it was produced by RZA. Say no more. |

I like Children story. One thing though, I understand Slick Rick was on that track, but did Game dropped a verse on it too? Dead (Track 11) is a head banger. The bass line is just off the hook. You need pairs of decent speakers to appreciate this . I like it. |
Music/Radio / Re: ****The Game Drops Another Mix Tape. Free Download (Purp & Patron)***** by ElRazur: 10:45am On Jan 26, 2011 |
You are right RIP (Track 5) is awesome. It is amazing how this guy combines story telling with rhyming, and steadily flowing. I think the song is very good song and an example of how versatile and all rounder The Game can be with his rapping styles. PS I dislike the track with Lil wayne. What the Bleep is that Autotune garbage? How will Lil wayne sound without it? The whole song is weak in my opinion and yeah, I am not a fan of lil wayne. I noticed FunkMaster Flex hosting the whole joint. He is crazy with this words lol. Everything is usually "happy mode" with him. |

Why don't you just post the conspiracy theory already and save us the trouble? Go on, you know you want to Google search and post some mundane crap. Here, whenever there is a war, there will be service like that required. Also take into consideration Somalia is more or less a lawless state so anything goes. First track is definitely Album material. The beat is a catchy and simple one (I personally love very direct and simple beat that aren't overly complicated etc) I won't even mention Game's flow as that will be an insult to him. There's no questioning his delivery, flow, story telling et al. like he said on the track "I am a legend". He truly is a Legend. I love the Tupac's reference in the song. Real good. Still playing, the album so should post back later. |

Oga no problem o. Glad you are feeling it. I am ashamed to say, I haven't listened to the album - apart from the two tracks I mentioned earlier - as I have been mad busy, and also playing Canibus albums in-between. Thanks for recommending some tracks, I will try and listen to a few in the car this morning. As per the mixtapes, I have heard nothing but mostly - 95% plus - of good things about it. You are right, a few people asserted it should have been an Album. I mean, the mixtape title was even trending (PurpAndpatron#) worldwide when he released the mixtape. I also saw a tweet from him saying he would be dropping another 10 songs that do not make it on the mixtapes. The only person I know that was prolific (with quality) like that was Tupac. I just hope his upcoming album do well. |

It get tiring bickering with a fool. In the words of the wise one, do not argue with a fool and all that. All you do is talk trash upon trash. I mean, my explanations are as simple as it get, but you will rather not to see them. You see, that ain't my problem but yours. As a recap, Chains gang exist. It was you who asserted it stopped existing from the 1900s or so. Chain gang is still going on in the Usa. Proof of this is right in front of you. Since you want to be ignorant about it, then it is your cup of tea not mine. Weird that you now try to claim some county ain't the usa. Gosh, after you claimed chain gang do not exist etc. Opponents of death-row believe it is a form of mental torture etc. Again, this is in same context as I mentioned all along. As usual, proof was provided. However, if you cannot understand this, then it is your prerogative, your problem, your issue. Not mine. On contrast, all you do is speak out of you rectum etc. Shift positions and try to safe face. No surprise really! You barely made anything in relation to the debate at hand etc. I guess it ain't no coincidence most think you are a fool. Finally, you keep taking about how you are followed around etc. Gosh, you clearly are deluded. It was nice while it lasted. Go on, have the last lame attempt at talking some more trash. |
Crime / Re: Three Kids Butcher Their Father's Lover With Saw-blade by ElRazur: 9:25pm On Jan 21, 2011 |
So a county in a state did something and now you think that is not the Usa? Geography must be very challenging for you. My original point was about something that happened inside the US. You know, the point that is hard for you to grasp is laid out in simple terms that anyone with a shred of brain can see it. Just to further simplify it for you, if a country were to attack just that county won't that be an attack on the US? Or using your awesome logic, it will be just the county and not the USA? Right. On the internet, anyone can be anything. Your claims so far are as weak as they get. You know, while you try all you can to bark, you lack the vocal chord needed and too make matters worse, you are toothless and your argument have no bite. Go on, make attempts to bark some more. After all, according to you, chain gang never existed and neither did the point that their delayed execution is a form of deliberate mental torture. What a joke. |

One cannot speak to a dead person. She's gone and unfortunately that means she won't respond. You keep calling me a kid, yet you cannot grasp very simple concepts, or even make attempts to answer simple questions. Again here is another scenario: A man takes me and my family and shoot everyone of us in the head. Using your logic, will justice to you mean taking that guy and killing him and his families too? Please prove you are the grown-up here by actually thinking and answering my question. |
