patriotic9jaboy:Go and find out the meaning of omoluabi from your parents dear. When you are an omoluabi no one can take it from you. Here's a huge difference between Yorubas and Igbos: Yorubas will say "ohun tio daa o daa, ko loruko meji" what is bad is bad. Quit dancing around it and stop calling a spade a farm implement. These people you call Yoruba elder elder have all sold out our race for pecuniary and selfish gain. After the Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the Yorubas haven't been fortunate to have another leader like him. Tinubu and Obasanjo both have wealth that I'm very sure can't be accounted for. We don't, have never, and will never term evil good in Yorubaland. Oseewo. I don't care whose ox is gored. Mase loogun mamo. If you don't steal your reputation will be intact. I'm not writing this to please anybody talk less the Igbos. This is my opinion. You hold a contrary world view? Good luck to you. I'm proud of the principles inculcated in every Yoruba child ti o ti ile ire jade. (Mind the yoruba) Let's put our leaders under the spotlight. Then they will sit up. They aren't there so that we can worship or glorify them. I'm sure we all worship one God or the other. We don't need another set of tin gods to worship thank you. If other ethnic groups want to worship money, we on the other hand should remember our own values as a people. |
Xflint:You can check my earlier posts. I'm not in favour of any corrupt official wherever they hail from. Most Yorubas didn't vote for Obasanjo and I still find fault with his leadership. He's just an egocentric old f**l whom God gave opportunity twice to steer the the affairs of this nation and threw it all down the drain. I'd rather see him in jail. Ditto for Tinubu and every other corrupt public official. I don't care whether they are Yoruba or Igbo or whatever. Only you guys select criminals based on where they come from. If they are from your side then nobody can dare accuse them of anything after all they are not the only one stealing public money right? In Yorubaland you automatically become an omo ale. Who wants to associate with a thief anyway? Though that seems to be changing these days. So sad. As far we all know, president Buhati is clean and we know this because haters like you would have shown us proof that he's embezzling money from the coffers of the government if he truly was. |
Maybe EFCC and ICPC have both outlived their usefulness. Unfortunately the sleeping giant called Danbazau who's supposed to be the minister of interior seems to have put his sleep in gear 5. This is the time to vote for state and federal police. Our internal security system is a wash. I can imagine FBI doing exactly what DSS did to the judges. |

Amberon:I agree with some of your assertions but disagree with others. While Buhari may not be the sharpest tool in the tool shed and ditto for the people he works with yet there's no going around the fact that the seeds of recession were laid during Jonathan's error, sorry, era. There's a level to which you loot and pilfer an economy that that economy will automatically tend towards the zero. All those dollars found in patience Jonathan's account, judges' homes, all those dollars distributed through the office of the NSA, including the ones distributed by Jona himself to pastors, imam, association of witches and wizards, royal fathers, heck, even the wall ghecko in my house got his own share, could have served as a buffer for the unprepared-for $30/barrel, but no, it all went with the wind. Niger Delta scavengers nko? Blowing up pipelines! There's only so much an economy can take before sh*t hits the fan. |
Amberon:Yes ma'am. ![]() |
How can you remind him of his kid in boarding? Are you and the kid the same age ne? Soon the two of you will be exchanging bodily fluids and I'm not talking blood transfusion. My advice? Avoid him at all cost but don't make it obvious that you're trying to avoid him. |
Lol. Was he sleep walking when he handed her the money? Or the babe used jazz? |
Why do I sense a counter thread loading in the romance section? |
No matter how dark the night is, it can't stop the sun from rising in the morning. You're almost there. keep pushing. Life is made up of survivors like you and I who have stories to tell. |
That's how it should be. It's your job as the man to make sure your family is contented and safe. My mind would be at ease and I'd be more productive at work knowing my wife has the safety and comfort of the car to do her runs. |
I think it's the man's responsibility to feed, clothe and house his family...if he has the means even if the wife earns more. That gives him a sense of pride and self-respect. The wife should be kind enough to support the husband and save her money as their retirement plan provided the woman doesn't run away with a younger man in her 60s. ![]() I guess I'm old school. ![]() |
inme:I'm sure you are about to tell me who they are. ![]() |
arisanate:Arindin. What exactly do you know about the civil war aside the lies your parents and grandparents told you? Better open a book and get some education. |
devilson:Well devil's son. You can now return to your papa in hell. ![]() |
gidgiddy:I just dey look you. Nothing like a united South and Nothing like a united North. The various ethnic groups inhabiting these two regions are vast. It's even easier to think of a united North than a u ited South because their first lingua franca is Hausa. The Yorubas have no choice but to be acomodating abi? You exercise our right and you brag about it. When was the last time you heard that an Igbo man in the East sold a plot of land to a Yoruba or a Hausa person? Why do you think people don't exactly go to your enclave in the east? Why do you guys leave there en masse everyday..? You take for granted the hospitality you enjoy in the West for granted because you're a Nigerian citizen which is how it should be but can we say the same for you Igbos? Let your conscience be your judge o. Keep pushing for your biafra and I pray you get it. |
BrOwnSuga3:Is that why your people keep going to Yorubaland in droves? So that they can be spat on? Liar. |
xavier0327:Hahahahahaha... Nice one. Pls tell me you used a little bit of Yoruba curse on her. ![]() Can't forget my own experience in a hurry. I got into my apartment lift one night like that in Dubai. Na so I see this Asian woman coming o. Obviously she dey go up too. Forming gentleman I come hold button for am make door no close. The mumu woman just stand there in front of the door with a sheepish grin on her face. She no gree enter o. I come reason am say she dey fear make I no rape am or kill am for inside elevator. Hmmm... It is well, I told myself. |

EternalTruths:Well since the state of Israel has already been established why don't you guys just relocate and settle down with your brothers and sisters there? That'll be cool you know. |
asuustrike2009:That would be Atiku Abubakar. I guess you were in Pampers then. |
Thank you. Please keep reminding the children of hate. They have a very short memory and low IQ. |
Is that all? ![]() |
Igbo kwenuu... ! |
sharpden:Who gave you that phone you are using? Are you sure you are of age to handle a phone? Just saying. If you don't recognize a typo then maybe you shouldn't be online dear. How about you take your school books and busy yourself with your homework. Good boy. |
Let it be put off indefinitely. Let them taste the flavour of awaiting trial small. Lol. Just kidding. I hope we have a provision in the law called the patriot act to back this up though. They should not be arraigned though until all the corrupt judges are rounded up. I hear there's another wave of arrests loading. Please if you're on Nairaland and your papa is one of the judges give us updates abeg. |
kernel504:Whatever"self-deceptive" means. Anyway, where in my whole statement did you see me beg you for unity? The earlier you guys leave the better. We'll help you pack your baggage. If you need transport money see we fit give you o. Also, I don't have enemies. You can keep hating though. It is allowed. |
ArodewilliamsT:If wishes were horses, beggars might ride. GEJ has no economic, leadership, or moral value to Nigeria. He was and is a wimp. I'll bet your godfathers in the judiciary are the ones being hounded. Ntor... ![]() And this is just the beginning. You lot have benefited for years from the pain and misery of hapless Nigerians. Unfortunately those same Nigerians will still come here and be praising you lot. I just wonder how much you are being paid to come online and rant for these leaves because I find it hard to believe that you use your own money to come online and defend these corrupt bastards. |
kernel504:I guess that's the story your parents told you right? I'll bet you didn't ask them to prove the veracity to you did you? They did you a great disservice. If anything, all easterners should deify Awolowo. How many of you do you think would be remaining if he hadn't taken measures to make the war end when it did? |
