That's true. There are consequences for every action and inaction.

Past leaders are to blame for our current woes. Even a fool knows that except perhaps wailers.

Their stupidity is futuristic.

Somebody also needs to tell the president that if after 4 years he hasn't achieved much then his own successor will blame him too.

So less blame and more work at this point.

You know the bible also said love your wife as Christ loves the church right?? Why are you ignoring that and only concentrating on the submissive part. The Bible makes us understand that marriage is a two way thing from both parties, be submissive to your husbands (wives), love your wives (husbands). If you love your wife, you won't cheat on her, you won't disrespect her, her opinion will matter in your decision making in fact you won't make major decisions without consulting her 1st cos both of you are partners, you will compromise to her favour sometimes and she will do the same for you as well, then watch if she won't respect you. that's my point. It takes both partners to respect each other for a marriage to work.
I agree with your assertions. She's submissive ; I love her passionately. That's how it works.

Some women, no matter how much you love them they'd always wanna show you that they should be the boss in the home. Pride.

okay.....as a man expects submission, a woman expects to be loved, you also can't take that from her.

Then again, about me teaching my son how to love.... shouldn't that be his father's job, since boys are more likely to learn from their fathers by emulating their attitude?
You are absolutely right and I wish other ladies will see it this way.

The man should expect submission and respect from his wife and the woman should expect unalloyed and unconditional love from her husband. Simple.

Though a boy has a lot to learn from both father and mother and not just the father.

The only destinies that have been sold are those of your s and your children at the alter of greed and for not being able to think properly.

Omugo the loser, Tinubu isn't the richest man in Nigeria and to question his wealth, you have to bring the corruption case against him or die in penury. Only a man/woman that wasn't raised with money and that will never make money envy a man whose source of wealth hasn't been linked to any corruption or embezzlement.

You are one of those who have had your mind screwed up by the system and used to getting money without working save for following politicians around. Now that your source of livelihood is yanked off your mouth, you are blowing up all over the place. No more free money for you programmed rodents, now you can go kiss a stray dog.

The fact that a woman has a say in the home does not make her contentious. God bless my parents and pls God give me a man like and better than my Dad. The way my Dad respects my mum, the way he regards her opinion and she reciprocates this as well. They make maor decisions together and one party does not agree with something, the other party does not go ahead with it, they argue about issues and my Mum is allowed to express her displeasure even shout sometimes and my Dad has never raised a finger on her cos of that or treated her less than she desrves and they make up almost immediately after. So, I have seen and lived in a loving home with loving Parents where the wife is treated as an equal partner in the relationship so I know what it means so all this poo you guys are saying here makes no sense to me at all.
I guess you mean the Bible was also saying poo when it specifically asked the woman to be submissive to her husband.

Maybe what you're saying is that God didn't know what he was talking about in Genesis when he said the woman would be under the authority of the man.

You know the problem of ladies nowadays? Pride. I believe that was the cause of Satan's fall right?

Classic sellout coward, you can keep drinking from the same keg of hate you have for Tinubu, but the fact remains he's the only Yoruba leader that actually plays politics to favor Yoruba.

Confused robot, who stole your mandate? And do you even know what that means? Opening your mouth to say trash just makes you more stupidd than you appear to be.

Go get you a job, there's always something to do if you have both hands or you will continue to sleep with empty stomach. Stolen money is gone forever and the time has come to separate men from boys and productive individuals from lazy ass always looking for handouts.

Tinubu is the only Yoruba man alive doing everything to push Yoruba land forward, and y'all can keep saying what you want.

There was no evidence whatsoever that Tinubu wanted to be Vp and there was nothing that ruled him out of being a vp in our constitution.

You unproductive robots will continue to stay in your rabbit hole while Tinubu matches on with the land of Yoruba behind him.
Isn't it you ycat?

Kiss @ss. Tinubu's lapdog. When you eventually get half a sense you can come back for a proper debate. Meanwhile enjoy the money you got to come and launder his image here.

Hopefully in the nearest future you will realise that you not only sold your birth right to these politicians but those of your children and their own children after them.

Arindin. Have you asked yourself how come the man you are defending has made such stupendous wealth since his tenure as governor of Lagos?

If his actions are motivated out of altruistic reasons then he wouldn't have to steal would he?

But unfortunately people like you whom he has stolen from are dumb nitwits with nary a sense.

To continue arguing with you is like pouring water in a basket.

And that's how the they marry the wrong person and start shouting that all men are the same.

He may write that online but I can authoritatively tell you that no man wants to marry a contentious woman.

Why will I marry a home wrecker when there are peaceful women out there.

Being submissive doesn't mean you don't have an opinion or that you become a mumu.

Submission is the power that has been given to women to conquer and subdue the world. That's why they are built physically the way they are.

Unlike the men who have to display raw physical strength.

Marry a man you know will love you and you only. And not because he has money.

Marry him because he has qualities you admire and respect. Then it will be easy to be submissive to him.

Most people don't understand that in the scheme of things in this world, there can only be one captain in a ship.

That is why there's only one steering wheel in a car for just one driver. Go figure.

A wise woman will be submissive to her husband.

A wiser woman will marry someone she can always respect and be submissive to and not just for money or looks.

Probably so. I concede that point to you. But do you know why good people can never get to position of power in this country? Because we the people will not allow them to.

We are our own worst enemy. It isn't just a simple case of putting good people there.

Even our own system is designed to make the best leader fail miserably.

We sincerely need a change.

Yoruba have boxed themselves into a corner and are about to enter the wall which is just a matter of time.

The states that have not mined an ounce of any mineral resources are already in line for 13% derivatives when Lagos hasn't collected a dime from the port, and Ogun isn't asking anything from what the Fg is collecting from the companies all over the state. I guess they are waiting for someone to come tell them that these are their own contributions to Nigeria.

Back to the issue, I expect Yoruba to sell Tinubu, the only Yoruba leader that loves his people and makes sure we stand tall in the scheme of things in a country where every other tribe protects even the worse of their own. Tinubu is the only reason Yoruba nation is still relevant today, making sure he put Yoruba up as the Vp, the AFENIFERE prefer Yoruba to follow others like Gej who has no respect for Yoruba and didn't think we deserve any key appointment in his govt after receiving 85% of our voters.
Typical myopic and totally false contribution from someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Tinubu loves his people? Yeah right. I laugh in pidgin. A politician that actually loves his people, haha. Maybe you weren't aware that the guy wanted the VP slot for himself before he reluctantly put Osinbajo. It is your tribe that protects their own worst. That is why this country is like this.

You queue up behind those alleged to have stolen the mandate of the people as well as their Commonwealth. You support vagabonds in power just because they are from your area.

Then you go back home and sleep with an empty stomach because those you're defending have impoverished you.

Saying that Tinubu is the only reason Yoruba people are relevant is actually an insult to the whole Yoruba ethnic race. That's why I'm convinced that maybe you're kind of high on cheap crack.

The only politician that has demonstrated unusual and unadulterated love for his people and for others is Awolowo. Good rest his soul. Others are just here to amass wealth and strut around like a god father.

In case you don't know, Bola Ahmed Tinubu's first loyalty is to himsel, then his party the APC. Not to Yoruba and definitely not to Nigeria.

You really aren't known for bright contributions on this forum. Read your statement again and tell me what you think is wrong with.

You may want to start with how Babatunde Raji Fashola is doing well in the power sector.

After that, you may want to highlight how the VP is playing a more visible role than the spare tire role Sambo played in the last government.

Then maybe you can divert to how madam Kemi is working hard to end the recession brought upon us by the last administration whose bank accounts are bursting to the brim with stolen dollars that could have saved us from recession in the first place.

But then why bother, maybe you are being paid to launder their images here, who knows.

If not then whenever you are at home soaking garri with ground nut, remember that those you come to defend here are busy eating fried chicken with money stolen from you.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Will Be 56 By October 1. whats your assessment of Our Country? by ElsonMorali: 9:57pm On Sep 29, 2016
It's easy to condemn Nigeria's slow progress forgetting we all contributed in one way or the other, coming online to support crooked politicians and so on.

Yet 56 years is a short time in the life of a nation. It's not a human being and it's going to live longer than a human being. So I think we shouldn't give it a hard knock just yet. Let's save that for our children's children's children's when the country will be moving towards 200 years old.

But at 56 I think it's time we changed the set up of governance in this country if we want it to live beyond a hundred.

Not all imported goods are beneficial, so also imported democracy from America.
