Princeofnigeria: baba good morning.
This country don tire me, if you don't have connections or you are not from a rich background you're on your Own.
I'm moving out not just for myself, but for the sake of my unborn kids, I don't want them to breathe this air. True. I understand you very well. If you're able to escape then please do. Just remember that it could be so much tougher out there if you don't have relevant skill sets. Some places like Canada would require you to have Canadian work experience most of the time before you can be employed or at least Canadian education. Make sure you plan your traveling to the tiniest detail so that you don't get stranded. All the best. |

See don't make me get angry with you please Na wa o. See prince of Nigeria getting angry about staying in Nigeria. Maybe you should change your name to Prince of Europe. Lol |

How many other stories make it up to 10 pages on Nairaland. more than the stories about the Igbos, Baifra...?
Remove the stories of Igbo beauties and celebrities like E-Money, P Square, Techno, Davido/Chioma, and loads of others and your nairaland is as boring and lifeless as oluma rock..
So yes they help to develop Nairaland...

That you harbour malice in your heart doe not i mean i wont sell and make money of you..especially if we are one Nigeria....'I make my money and move on' is the Igbo Businessman's philosophy..no time!...
You can call me a Jew-wanna- be,no problem, but i wont call you an 'afonja cone-head'
An example of your malicious tendencies is you and your brothers pain and anger at the decision of most Igbos to st-at-home in remembrance of our beloved who died during the Civil War..
Yeah other tribes hate us while they love you, espevially Hausa-Fulani Muslims ..Middle-belters have also received enormousl love from Fulani Herdsmen Stop ranting. You can buy land anywhere in Nigeria but obviously you aren't aware that the land you bought isn't yours for keeps. It has an expiry date, as in lease. The day y'all man up and get your Biafra is the day you'll understand that the land you bought in the Southwest has a countdown timer attached to it. Please let us know when you are really ready to take concrete steps to actualize Biafra instead of making noise on Nairaland. Most of you seem to forget that Nairaland is a virtual space. babaolofin: Whatever happens or whichever way the money is spent is none of the non - oil producing states & peoples business. It is a great injustice. They fought for this derivation up to 13%. During Obj, the littoral states fought the government on Onshore / Offshore dichotomy. Thank God, Obj is from a littoral state. The executive bill to hand over water ways to FG can never be supported by South West and the FG is aware. There has been an intense battle over the years between FG & Lagos State government over the control of Inland Waterways in Lagos. This battle was so intense that various legal interpretation has been made on it, yet, Lagos won.
You cannot deny the people the control of their resources & yet deny them their constitutional entitlement. When oil price was very low, they can understand with government, but with money in the ECA as a result of increase in the price of crude they should be given their money. Bayelsa in particular needs more funding.
When Gov Udom & Ambode jointly hosted Southern States Governors Forum in Lagos, the people from a region in the South condemned the meeting. Nairaland was very busy that night with a lot of insults against another region in the south. The littoral states battle for the betterment of the littoral states was led by Tinubu & Chief Olusegun Osoba till the end.
Those who believe in the creation of disharmony in the South but thought blackmailing, propaganda & empty noise making will grant them freedom can continue. South - South people should be organized. That's where you're making the mistake It is very much the business of the other non oil producing states. The oil-producing states are part of the entity called Nigeria. If war starts there where do you think they are going to run to? We will keep on asking for integrity and transparency even if you guys are so content with mediocre rule. Let your leaders point to what they've done with the past money that accrued to them as oil producing states. As long as I'm a Nigerian, I have every right to now. So do you. Put on your thinking cap and hold your leaders responsible. The people are not the one controlling the resources in their states. Not even the little that accrues to them gets to them whole. I'm just tired of youths who are jobless but find the time to come on here to defend the 1% ripping them off. |

Shut the fvck up jackass. Benue state is undergoing a pogrom but it's you guys crying the loudest about imaginary marginalization and deaths in your region. You must always attach. Now it is Benue and Biafrans. Lol. Is it because they both start with the letter B? Very pathetic indeed. UfuomaUN: Cease this beer parlour talk!
How much specifically has been given to the south South from '99 till date?
Where was the south south developmentally in 1999 compared to 2018?
Relative to the kind of environmental degradation, pollution, difficult swampy terrain, and vast land mass, is the amount received so far by the region significant enough to solve it's problems?
You think Dubai was built with a few billion dollars?
It's not even as if the money mined from the region is even spent well for the needs of the country. Most of it stolen within the NNPC while Politicans in Abuja loot the remaining and you're asking the governors not to complain?? Now we have a serious case of soot in PH and the Fed govt is playing eye service.
Let's not be hypocritic with the truth, inasmuch as states like Delta and Bayelsa may have questions to answer as regards management of their resources, More states like Rivers, and AKS have made remarkable progress. I grew up in PH in the 1990s. I know where we came, and even though we're not there yet, the SS have made immense developmental strides since the 13% derivation law. I understand that if you've never witnessed a functional government in action before you'll be tempted to praise the crumbs of a crumb's crumb that your leaders are sharing to you. Instead of you to hold them accountable you're here online praising them that they've tried. Indeed y'all deserve the kind of leadership you have right now. I maintain my stance, they have no right to ask for more when they've been largely unaccountable for the little they've got in the past. Whoever is not happy with my submission should bite the floor. |

SoNature: What are u saying?
If u are asking for what the Niger Dela states have done with their 13%, then show me what they rest of the states have done with their 87%.
While corruption is a national problem, we must not deny a people what they deserve on the basis of corruption.
If anyone has the right to demand the 13% derivatives given to the states in the N. Delta, it should be their indigenes. And no reasonable indigene will ask that money accrued to his region be stopped because of corruption.
A typical Niger Delta man will use violence to demand accountability and NOT that FG stop sending their money. What makes you sure that 87% accrues to the other states? What the states need to do is fight corrupt politicians. The amount accruing to each state is enough to build wealth for the citizens. Do you know how much each state governor collects in terms of security allowance? Do you think the derivates they are asking for is because they are selfless and want to help the common people? Or elections are around the corner and they want to have a big war chest to rig elections? |

Ziggylady: Dude i am sure you understood the economic effects of the analogy i posted using my father??...was Lagos your making that he should leave the Capital of Nigeria then while you lots from Ogbomoso,Ekiti,Osun and ither enclaves flood the place like locusts while leaving your hinterlands to rot away??..
.Why should anyone be grateful to you??..did you get the job for him,pay our fees and gave us accomodation for free??...you are extremely delusional for expecting some sort of gratitude when you lots did not contribute to our success....
Hausas kill you lots in the north too,but because your lives mean nothing, you have decided to keep mute..Your headache...
Anyway the crux of the matter is that generally,Yorubas are extremely malicious towards Igbos, therefore your advise is meaningless and useless because you only want Igbos to keep shut and be one Nigeria with you instead of agitating for a seperate country...
Period. Whether Yorubas move from Ogbomosho to Lagos is none of your concern, is it? They are still in the west. Gratitude? Who's expecting gratitude from a bunch of Jew-wannabes? Lol. You are the ones living in the west and still complaining about your lot in life. If you're tired if seeing Yoruba people whom you've claimed harbor malice towards you what's stopping you from relocating to the east? Or has anybody tied you down with chains? At bolded. Can you give concrete evidence of this? I'm waiting for your proof. No wonder other tribes hate you guys. |
