Politics › Re: "Say No To Protest" March Ongoing In Lagos by ElSudani: 3:33pm On Jul 29, 2024
Politically motivated protests to incite the Nigerian people against the government.
Not in our backyard.

You f**l you can fight for your right anywhere within this country stop promoting sentiment say no to tribalism. Hungry and smiling boy .
If you plan to burn anything go to your state or you can stay in Yorubaland and do self immolation, that is also an option and form of protest.

Why not query the very individual that calls you a unity beggar in a federation before jumping to attack a whole tribe?
We did actually. But when you have others supporting and liking these asinine posts, we knew it will eventually get to this point.

You're living a small illusionary world where you believe only your people exist. You have not travelled. When you have an accident or in serious medical condition when you can't choose who will save you, you will learn life is beyond your foolish tribalism and childish banters. Maybe then you will learn to criticize individuals not a tribe.
Exactly what we used to tell the Ibo guys who started the tribalism thing on Nairaland. They usually respond by calling you a unity begger.

I came out this morning, only for me to buy a litre of fuel at #900......Even right now in ughelli where I'm, everywhere is crowdy and the aroma of "wahala" is allover the air...... MTN office is being crowded as I'm typing this and you could feel the anger in the faces of those standing there...And of which many of them are waiting for the greenlight so that they can pour out their rage...... Honestly,in as much as I don't want this protest to hold but I see no reason why it won't hold cuz everyone on the streets aren't happy at all ..........I pray this shouldn't lead to the disintegration of the country cuz that's what it may turn out to be.
After the rage and the violence then what? A litre gasoline will go to N200?

Protests are great, go and do it in your state and burn whatever you want to burn.

Everywhere basically, they hate and envy us.
Isn't it time we do some soul searching?

All those people shouting Dangote refinery is going to make prices cheaper.

"He plans to sell at international rates, meaning government will buy it expensive from him and subsidized it for the citizens."

He is a 100% Businessman.
Dont let them drag you into their challenges.
These people dont care about us.
How is he going to make it cheaper if he was buying crude from abroad at international prices?

No, the idiots were rejected at the polls.
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Response To Kenneth Okonkwo's Depature & Show Of Support For Dangote by ElSudani: 2:17am On Jul 29, 2024
"In Nigeria, he continued, we have become all too accustomed to rascality and forcefully doing things, making noise, and bulldozing our way through, even when we are wrong. This behavior is often mistakenly seen as a measure of power or greatness"

This message should have been directed at the Obidients.

Put him there for six months and all these theories will go out of the window.

Sorry, but I do not rely on "your president to fix the nation" for me.

I get off my ass and fix the portion of the nation that concerns me myself instead of waiting for some president messiah who likely hasn't got a clue to fix my lot for me.
God bless you and all other Nigerians who think this way.
Things will get better if we do our own little part with honesty.
Someone who criticizes the government will re-bag free rice provided by the government and resell to unsuspecting public.
Isn't that madness?

When a Lexus ES 330 2006 model I bought January last year for 3.6M is now 9M.

You and your cohorts should continue playing ethnic cards
You just need to let her know you own one old Lexus ES 330 2006 model!
January last year was a time many Nigerians couldn't get more than 10000 out of their accounts.

Lagos is the commercial nerve center of Nigeria and it will affect the government more if it is held here especially if we use alaba international market as the center of the protest, since alaba is where the government gets huge taxes to finance Lagos.

From a Protester

The "brave" folks are suddenly trying hard to convince us they will be staying under their beds on that day

Politics › Re: Why 'go And Protest In Your Region' Argument Makes No Sense. by ElSudani: 4:31pm On Jul 27, 2024
Vinnie2000:
This Argument as sponsored by Helinius and his band of Unemployed, Mummy's Fed Boys makes no Sense. sad

If a Bini Business Man has done Business in Asaba for 20years and he wants to celebrate the Anniversary,
Can you Tell him to move to Benin City to Celebrate?😏

If a Yoruba Tailor in Onitsha is Celebrating his Business achievements,
Can anyone tell him to go Oshogbo or Akure to celebrate?🙁

NO! You Celebrate with your Well-Wishers, Clients and Friends around your Abode.🙂

For PROTEST, It is Same thing. Protest in your Place of Residence because that's where you Pay ur Tax and Rents. sad

So Pls Agbad0rians like Helinius, Try get SENSE. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙂
Try to be honest for once, nobody is afraid of a normal peaceful protest. What people don't want is this type of protest where the arrowheads are hiding and instigating people to go and "protest"

We all know this will lead to violence, this is why it makes sense that those who are interested in arson and killing should do it in their own region.

In as much as I believe Gabdebo is omo ale I don't see any reason for the continuous dragging
But it's OK to drag Toyin a year after the election even when she wasn't a candidate but just a citizen exercising her constitutional rights?
Politics › Re: Toyin Abraham Will Defeat Chinedu Gbadebo In Any Position In South West by ElSudani: 4:19pm On Jul 27, 2024

Was this necessary
It is very necessary so people who believe Gbadebo was rejected because of his Ibo background would understand.
Yes, I would vote for Toyin any day over that m. oron.
People who doesn't believe in your ideals shouldn't aspire to lead you.

Inferiority complex.
We know the people that "grab, snatch and run away".
Next month now they will try to recreate a song to rival Mike Ejeagha.
It's a Yoruba folklore twisted and made meaningless if the interpretations I'm reading here are true.
Yoruba folklore are made to entertain and teach kids.
There's always a moral lesson embedded in such stories.
