I'm actually starting to hate TECNO with her online agents always everywhere making unrealistic claims just for the paycheck. I almost can't find a credible Techno news piece to read the days. |
Phones › Re: Tecno Phantom 5: Finger-print Sensor Champion by Elxandre(m): 10:09am On Oct 10, 2015 |
BenKafor: For all of you that think that Tecno is not a real phone, the Standards Organization of Nigeria and Consumer Protection Council were at the launch of the Phantom 5 and they approved the phone & said it met up to requirements. In case you don't know who SON and CPC are, GOOGLE IT! 70k is actually very affordable for a flagship device. For a Noob, 70k is a nice price for this phone. Nobody in the know, will touch this thing with a long pole, not when there are several better devices at far cheaper prices. |

hinwazaka: Mr Gbawe, so, all the youths who work in banks and financial institutions are all dead. So the children of the political class who have 1st class degrees and currently head IT firms and telecom corporations are all singing and acting, while partying with DAVIDO. So all the brothels and clubs now turn back old men who are youth drainers of our young girls. So the son of OBJ and that ridiculous Tinubu is afraid and scared of joining the political class. Young man, you probably spend all your time watching TRACE TV, and doing YAHOO-YAHOO, that's why you don't know there are millions of people within the age bracket of 30-40 doing amazing things and are more qualified than the bunch of bloodsuckers and retirement home candidates on that hopeless list. I have read all your contributions to this platform, and not one piece could be considered as having any iota of intelligence. Those who claim you are intelligent are simply blind and FOOLISH. You saved me from typing an epistle to reply that fella! |

The only difference is musicians don't have retirement dates. They keep singing and performing till they die. |

KingAfooBaba: Don't mislead people young man.. Get your Facts right before spreading fake informations! Statement of result for O'level is the minimum required... The original copy / certificate is Optional.. If you have, you can present it and if you don't have, just make sure you get Statement of result from the school you wrote the SSCE... The original certificate for O'level is the UTMOST requirement only when you want to clear your result after graduation! #PeaceOut What about testimonial bro, is it compulsory? I wrote my WAEC far from where i presently reside. Also, how can WAEC cert date of birth error be managed in FUTA? |

SammyT95: the original copy is the required one and you guys should know that they don't acknowledge birth certificate from private hospitals so if u own such go get anoda from the Nigeria Population Commission or your hometown Can you explain this better? How can one get birth certificate from home town? Again, what if one has date of birth error on WAEC certificate, will the birth certificate be enough to rectify the issue? |

ceaser: Honestly I don't like the animation of that home screen "People" app on WP10. It looks nicer in flipping squares/tiles of the WP8/8.1 than the bouncing circles of WP10. I hope they still have plans to go that flipping tile way. Microsoft is ridiculous. They keep changing all the UI and animations but we still can't see the new features they promised will come on the OS. |

And with the USB-C and Qualcomm fast charging with it, Qi wireless charging and a lovely Continuum support, it blows the mind.
And another lovely announcement is the novel MSFT "Surface book" which, well, poops on the Macbook pro and Chrome book put together. The chromebook was never a rival. lol bro fast charge won't sell your devices o, as every top smartphone has that. we must hope they sort out the app issue else it's back to square one. Continuum is very promising really. |

Phones › Re: Windows Mobile Naija Forum by Elxandre(m): 9:38pm On Oct 06, 2015 |
ceaser: Now I understand what you mean. Here is the way it works:
HERE maps has offline capabilities in which case you use pre-downloaded maps for navigation. This saves you data and also makes navigation possible in places and situations where you do not have online connection.
These offline maps are regularly updated to include more countries, more locations and more POIs as they unfold in real life situations. The implication of this is that if walmart opens in Ikoyi by October 2015, you will not immediately get Walmart as POI on your HERE offline maps until a new updated map data with Walmart included is available for download. The same applies with new roads and service lanes. Ditto newly "dualized" carriageways.
Online real time maps on the other hand is not hampered with these limitations. However it comes with it the availability of data and massive consumption of same.
Online navigation is AVAILABLE on HERE maps. Offline is not available on Google maps, although that has been in the works for over a year now without much headway. HERE maps online is therefore at par with that of google maps or any other online navigation solutions.
Try this out: When you are on a very fast network, launch your HERE maps and select Online navigation. Also select satellite view along with your options and set your destination or POI. You will be suprised to see all the cars packed around you, buildings and their roofing (even the colour of the roofs), forests, bushes and all other structures along your route will be displayed on your screen in all their glory and in real time. You may also select "Night view" to screen out some high resolution details so that only your route shows on your screen. Lol, I agree with you on its functionality. But in terms of coverage, it's behind. Are you saying the town I live hasn't been included after years of here maps existence? I used Gmaps for on my N95 years ago, and it had the tiniest detail complete. The issue is not even the lack of details, but the complete non existence of full towns! When last did they even update the maps? Lol..... The 950 looks terrific though. I hope it makes great sales. |
