There are no 512mb android phones currently retailing in the market, even China manufacturers have upgraded. It's only Microsoft & Nokia that's still swimming in obsolete spec for their devices

thats because wp games are made for all devices. Android games has requirement jst like pc. U can run mc4, mc5, max payne, 9mm, fifa 14 and 15 on tecno n3 bcus these games need 1gig ram phone to work smoothly.
htc one m8 and galaxys5 run smoothly after a year.

I said budget phones, you are mentioning flagship devices.

Besides, some of those games will crash on 512 ram androids.
And again, you can sideload heavy games on 512 ram phones if you know your way around it.

Thank you. I'll just rest my case since this people have no clue what I'm talking about. I guess they'll have to have used phone like Samsung phones like S3, S4, S5, Note 1, 2, 3 or LG g2 or htc flagships as personal phones to know what I'm talking about.

When you've been watching a 43" flatscreen TV for months and you suddenly go back to the normal 21" boxlike TV, you'll need some adjustment period and may even never be fully satisfied with it.

That being said, apart from the call issue, I believe the phone is a good phone.

No matter what happens, I can't be comfortable with a 21inch TV ever again!
The truth is many who buy budget phones have never used those top phones.

However, I believe the call quality will still be manageable enough.

Tell me which 2012 phone will still receive an update in late 2015?

Gaming?
Any 1GB ram WP will play any game on the store without lag.
Show me a budget Android that won't lag horribly after six months of usage? Budget WPs run smoothly even after a year of use.

Thrash compared to iPhone?
The same iPhone that can't connect to just any PC to transfer music or movies as you wish?
An OS that doesn't even have a file manager? lol.
The most important thing the iPhone has over WP is apps and that marquee factor.


An unjailbroken iPhone is inferior to a WP!

As far as I know no current gen mediatek SOCs have any problem running any generally released app.

This Elephone uses MT6752 chipset which contains the Mali-T760 GPU, the same GPU the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge uses.

Aside the app selection, WP is somewhat better than Android (in some ways tho).
I'm 80% certain that WP will someday soon overthrow every OS out there.
Anyone with foresight will know that many Windows PC exclusive features will be domiciled on this platform soon, which will rout every opposition.

Another reason Nigerians prefer Android is data . We all know how they mess with their mediatek imeis.

I'll return when windows 10 launches!

Lol. I'm an IT professional and the least I could do was to try out a platform extensively before giving up on it. And trust me, I did and it wasn't worth the effort.

Note that some apps aren't available on 512 ram devices on WP.

Aside the app store which is very inferior at the moment, I prefer WP to Android.
I'm going Android soon though, my opera mini isn't even working well imagine.

I expect to make a return when the app ecosystem has matured more.
