Nobody has given a valid point that is objective as to why an apple device is better than andriod device, other than the fact that it is expensive amd celebrity in america uses it, what kind of whack argument is that. In my opinion am iphone is just a thing of class. Andriod is very flexible[ same reason windows os is in pc's]. Moreover apple sells more in the us becos it's an ameeican thing, same like Ford in the us, doesn't mean it's better that toyota that sell more in this part of the world. in my opinion andriod and ios and both worthy competitors and there is no clear winner. They're loads of things a Samsung will do and an iphone won't even try it to it

You have to respect the fluidity of an iPhone.
Unlike an Android where stupid errors occur, even your call application could stop working for no reason and if you have no time to trouble shoot errors, it will, leave you frustrated.
Feature wise, they are as good as being the same, since a jailbreak unleashes it's full potential.

Cos I don't like LG phones anymore. In as much as I have G pro, I'm not really enjoying it. They don't update their phones on time, up till now their phones are yet to have fast charge support, my g pro takes forever to charge and drains a lil too quickly for a 3140mah battery. The charging part is the most annoying part. And it's not faulty. So why would I want to associate myself with phones again when they can't deal with important things? Any phone that can't charge from say 5% to 100% in at most 90mins is a no go area for me .

Check the power rating of your charger.
Is it up to 2A?

Youngpo413:
if you are using MTN,forget it.

I use Airtel.
Its the same problem still.

milvet:
my dear I was talking about both before but now notifications show up but I cant hear d beep

Open whatsapp and go to settings.
Set notification tones.

Does your whatsapp have the call function yet?
That's a way to know if its the latest one.

milvet:
my dear I did o still no notification beep

Are you talking about the beep i.e. The ringtone or it's notification not showing up in the notification tray at all?

milvet:
ok I just updated my whatsapp nw but still nothing different

Did you try out the other tips I gave you?
Seriously, WhatsApp one of the best app on WP and I can vouch for it's quality.
The UI is just breathtaking.

My opera stopped downloading. Anyone noticed same?

When did yours stop downloading?
And what's the error you get?

madridsta007:
It is.

For some people, who don't understand the meaning of priorities.
When you understand you aren't her husband yet, common sense will set boundaries

I can't bother with a girlfriend right now, but Obama, Clinton etc were with their eventual wives from their teens.
An unserious person is an unserious person, gf or not.

Unserious people always find things to blame.

The only time I bought any app was when i got my first windows phone over two yrs ago. The details are fuzzy now. The only thing i remembered doing was that i had to change my region to US in order to be able to type in my debit (GTB) card and other details like address (a US address was required and i was able to get one from my friend), zip code and other things. All these will be done on your wallet app in the phone before you purchase from the store. Alternatively, if you've not visited your wallet before, clicking "buy" on the paid app redirects you back to your wallet and will be required to enter your live password. Once logged in, it asks you if you will like to add another payment option to an existing one or create a new one.

Once your payment is made, you will instantly be able to download the app. However notification of deduction from your account may not take place until after 24hrs.

However what I've noticed in recent times with those that have "Nigeria" set as their region is the denomination of the price of paid apps in "Naira" in the store. So i assume that they hassles of finding a US address to use the store might have been addressed. I believe other people with more and recent experiences here with store purchases will be willing to help.

I have used GTB and Keystone Bank cards without hassles in the past one year, with Nigerian addresses of course.

the only anger am havin here is: on my older devices i was a opera addict, & here using it on windows hav limited options i.e saving pages. or tabs closing themselves once u minimize hope they fix that bug fast sha

Update your opera.
It can now save pages and restore tabs.

Unfortunately, my phone has an error, so I can't download with it.
The download never starts. And I prefer the rendering to UC Browser's.
Sad.

Let me expose it for you...

Which picture is this?

OrlandoOwoh:
You're the dullard here. I wonder how NL came to be populated by your type that just spread here-say without doing their findings. What Buhari said was that all what people were saying about Abacha being corrupt remained allegations. If you don't know, nobody is a criminal until a competent court holds they are guity. Nobody, not even a judge, dare call an alleged criminal, a criminal until convicted. Buhari never said Abacha was not corrupt.

He was never convicted but billions of dollars directly linked to him has been recovered.
Buhari claims the past administration was corrupt but nobody has been convicted too!
And you have the temerity to call another a dullard?

Double standards everywhere.

people please help! my lumia 520 navigation keys(back, home and search) just stopped working suddenly...I have updated but still the same problem. ANY SOLUTION?

Did you drop the phone?
If you did, I guess the something had loosened up internally. Only a repairer can fix this, if this is the case!

After hard resetting your phone from settings (you'll lose all your apps) and it doesn't work, you may have to take it to Nokia store if you still have a valid warranty or a repairer.

milvet:
Good morning family....pls eh I dnt receive whatsapp notifications except if am on d page..wat should I do...lumia 535 user..

I'm too tired to elaborate.

Go to Notifications and Actions and tick the "SHOW NOTIFICATIONS IN ACTION CENTER WHEN SCREEN IS LOCKED" option.

Scroll to WhatsApp and ensure BANNER, SOUNDS and VIBRATION is turned off.

Note that you won't receive notifications if your battery saver is on!
Also make sure you have the latest update on WhatsApp.

3G locking is available in WP 8.1 for Lumia 535 dual. but for one sim at a time. that is the other sim will go off. i have posted screen shot several times here

You mean the second SIM network will go off completely or it changes to Edge like Android?

princemedico:
If I may ask what is the brand and model of the phone

Doesn't matter really but it's a 520 anyways.

All work and no play made him an exceptionally brilliant dude. I don't think he has a girlfriend, that's why he was focused. However, he should prepare to face the most difficult course in life- WOMAN.

Having a girlfriend isn't enough to stop a focused person.

ben1daEbiri:
that's the prob,i don't live in warri metropolis,i'm from Rivers,i was thinking if there's a way i can get it from warri while at rivers,u don't just expect me to pay a transport of 3k for something thats worth 1.5k...it's not economically wise, and besides i'm not financially bouyant lately, can you help me out?(how it can get to me @ rivers)

I live in Ondo.
But I'll ask the guy if what he has is in PDF format.
He's in Warri.

akinswaggs:
Are u kidding me? Im at Akure, id have to go check slot again

Wow! That deal makes sense.
It will be cumbersome dealing with a phone with long charging period though.
Koice, how is the battery life of your G pro?
And how long does yours take to charge? Maybe it will be faster with a more powerful charger like a 2A rated, who knows.

ben1daEbiri:
Yes i did,but this time around with a different perspective--i'm not gonna take NO for an answer,i'll be admitted, and i believe this time around i stand a better chance...haven't gotten past questions tho!

I pray everything goes well bro.
I have a guy who could have the past questions. Maybe he will charge you for it though.
Or if you live in Warri, you could get it from the school.

Does it mean that using images downloaded from the internet but with credit given to the owner, I can never get Google adsense?

Lets bring this thread back to life...i'm one of Last year's FUPRE-wrong-marking-scheme -disaster and a horrific 10 out of 50 score was lashed upon me (i felt like puking),this i wrote JAMB and passed (at least i got a few marks past the postulated 180) and i'm waiting for their "almighty, sacred and albert einsteinic" post utme form, from the bashing they received last year and from the stats i saw online (more than half it's applicants this year didn't pass JAMB),They'll be scrambling for students...so what do you guys think

You chose FUPRE as your 1st choice again?
I admire your courage.

I could still, write FUPRE's Exam though, if they allow those who don't choose them to write.

Proudly 042

please what's 042?

UjSizzle:
What's it saying?

I heard a hard reset may be the only way out for this particular error.
It is said to be a system partition error.

I certainly don't have time nor internet for their nonsense back up and restore.
I have gigs of apps on my phone, so I don't think I can bother with such wahala.

My phone is throwing up an error for the update.
It's refusing to install the update. Annoying.

KuliMart:
Pre-sale: Not in stock.

That's to say, company/factory haven't started shipping the phone, you pay for it and wait till they start shipping and yours will be shipped to you. It also mean you pay the company when the phones are still under production with a discount for purchasing the phone before it's available for order.

Note: Pre-sale always come with a discount and after pre-sale, the price will increase.

Summary:
You pay for the phone > Wait for the company to start shipping > We get ours from factory/suppliers > We send to you > Transaction Completed.

You should have put it on the site ; when the company plans shipping the phone because, wouldn't it be vague not knowing when to expect my order.

Also, you didn't respond to my POD question.

This dude owns a Phantom Ghost Rolls Royce. Wonder why it wasnt put up.

He doesn't.
He only shot a video with it.

Seen, hope he helps the needy with part of his wealth

How many people have you helped this year.
You think you have to be wealthy to help?

KuliMart:
Ondo state is 2,500 NGN only.

The system will automatically calculate the shipping fee during checkout.

Anywhere in Ondo State?
And I don't understand the 'pre-sale' tag on your products.
Also, no pay on delivery to Ondo?

Mr kulimart, what would it cost to ship to Ondo if I do business with you?
