We finally need to hand over this place to a new generation by bringing back the spark this last time. Also, i think this place needs an active mod. Someone who's got equivalent zeal and passion of riviving this arena.

One of the mod should relinquish power to someone else, i beg you.

Are you still in for our battle?

So, I came up with an Idea. A new way to set bar limits for battles.

Counting bars/lines in battles has always been a problem. This is owing to the varying definition of the word, BAR, among rapheads.

All this while, in order to be able to count their bars, battlers are mandated to put the bars in quatrains. We then make the assumption that 1 bar = 1 quatrain. But really, sometimes, some quatrains are long enough to be a verse. E.g, some of darkrebel's quatrains.

Also, since only this quatrain-after-quatrain layout is accepted, it is difficult for textcees to be flexible (that is, using other layouts). I'm sure you would agree with me that there were times when the type and style of bars you wanted to write didn't really fit in that quatrain-after-quatrain layout.

So, instead of counting bars/lines, how about WE COUNT WORDS?

This will lay the problem of stretching to rest. Also, a battler can be flexible if he so wishes (I.e, you don't have to always arrange your bars in quatrains. You can use any other form you like, provided you don't exceed the word limit).

I'm going to come up with the MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF WORDS FOR A REGULAR BATTLE by estimating the average amount of words we've had in unstretched 10-bar(quatrain) verses.

In the meantime, I'll like to have your comments.

If Em deigns Drake worthy enough of putting out a diss track for him, he(Em) would lose every thread of respect that I have for him. David Beckham should never be seen dead trading words with a LAWMA worker.

If Drake needs a halo, he chose the wrong Caucasian to try to steal it from. The faceoff would be like reliving the James Holmes Aurora shooting. It would end with Drake's blood splattered all over the lamp shade and the stuccoed wall.

The before-and-after pix cracked me up the most. One of the after pix (i.e after the battle) showed drake on a wheelchair. Another showed a coffin with the name DRAKE boldly etched on it. Another showed drake on a wheelchair where he asked another lady on a wheelchair if she also dissed Em.


I hear shady is already cooking up a diss track, but he's waiting for drake to shoot first.
