Philosopher1979: Rohr's sense of tactical intelligence is limited. In his limited reasoning, Onyeka is a better player than Nwakali because he is in a better league. Which is funny because they are different types of players. One is like kante while nwakali is like pirlo or jorginho. So none is better, they just do different things and nwakali is more needed for possesion, creative football. Rohr is like Joachim Löw (the former coach of Germany) Incidentally, Joachim Löw should have been sacked after the 2018 world cup. IN the same vein, Rohr has outlived his usefullness. He should have been sacked after the 2019 nations cup. We needed him in 2016 to restore some ability to the team and get us new players (some foreign born) who could rejuvenate the team again. He has done that but cannot take us to the next level. Rohr is like an average student who does not go beyond 58% in school (2nd class lower). Well, we are stuck with him. Things like winning a nations cup or getting to the quarter-final or semi-final of a world cup are beyond him. He can't take us to the next level. He has tried but he has serious limitations. He does not know how to use his players or maximize their innate potentials. We told dem already but majority won't agree cos he's white ..as far as I am.concerned rohr has expended his tactical awareness, nothing new again.. D eagles we are watching @ d moment is just a collective sheer will of d team and individual brilliance of some players..DTS all |

Joebie: Sudan will be our most difficult opponent in this group. Of course, Egypt is not a team to be underrated, but they would not be a hard nut to crack if Rohr gets his tactics right in the first game. One thing I can say is I expect us to go far in the tournament as usual, but I do not see Rohr steering our ship to victory when it matters most. Fingers crossed. I predict d tournament will b d last for rohr |

Don't mind some people Same way messi brought many fans too and fell in love with barca...'messi" factor attracted some fans to barca..So we can simply say dey supported barca because of messi and @ d long run became a big fan of d club.... |

daveP: Andrew, i think you're generalizing big time. Especially with the epl vs barca fandom numbers. Ya very wrong on that aspect. Wonder why you'd even use it to prove a point, especially in Nigeria Club fans matter. This isnt beer parlor talk, be less insulting now.
If most Nigerian fans no be fans, its now the nigerian barca fans that are the exception? Using your own logic!! No mind Andrew..in his little mind he feels Nigerian football lovers only supports the five/four big teams in d five big European leagues As poor as ac Milan is in terms of trophy achievements, failure in champions league qualification in d last 8seasons,I still av close friends who support ac Milan wholeheartedly. these re loyal old fans. Even leceister he claims has no fans in Nigeria has achieved more trophy wise(bragging right of fans) Dan ac Milan in d last 8years and u think dey won't av 9ja based loyal fans (considering d Nigerian players factor playing for Leicester team). |

andrew444: We dont have bolton fans, forget the okocha stuff ogbeni
Do you know what we mean by fans, how many Nigerians will steam and watch bolton games
We never get Leicester fans na bolton , abegi
All this talk na from Nigeria beer parlor mentality
So person go watch bolton for league 1 ? Ur problem is u generalize a lot...cos u can't phantom/experience a scenario doesn't mean it is not real or it can never happen.. I personally knw legit Bolton fans till date Infact,a man in my area who once lived in Newcastle ...supports d team wholeheartedly till date cos he once lived dere...I would still remain on my stand..dt fans support clubs for different reasons BTW...aw re u sure we don't av Leicester fans in Nigeria.. Have u travelled across d country to take d census of supporters supporting each foreign clubs in Nigeria ? |

Explain what I just said Well I am not disputing ur facts too..ppu support a club based on different reasons ,so my statement up dere is telling u to stop generalizing issues.. U re fond of DT.u can only speak for itself Do u knw we av bolton fans in Nigeria till date? Did fans emerged when okocha started playing for Bolton and from deir, dey developed interest in d club..my submission |

andrew444: Anybody that love Barca because of Messi is not a Barca fan
People loved Madrid because of cr7 but they are still not a fan of Madrid
I have been supporting Barca since the days of Ronaldinho so why will I love Barca because of Messi ?
Please don’t compare Barca to arsenal abeg ,there have been Ronaldinho and co ,why didn’t arsenal fans follow Henry to Barca
The last time I checked Messi came from la masia and wasn’t purchased from another club ,man you fans no even join Madrid
Abeg you guys should stop this beer parlour talk I disagree with ur first statement... A lot of ppu support a club solely because d love of a player....I knw 50% or more self of old arsenal Nigerian supporters ,supports arsenal solely because of d love for KANU I myself started supporting inter milan right from 2004 because of martins..and I followed dem religiously till 2010 ,after den my interest in club football reduced drastically |

Danielnino00: Long distance running is an easy African thing...It has always been.. The conditions over there favours them... The weather, the stature of the people and all... They have harnessed it to their advantage and it's been helping them win medals... Funny enough, the north of Nigeria has almost similar climatic condition as East Africa, plus the nomadic lifestyle of some of them that makes it easy for them to trek long distances without getting tired.. but are we doing enough to harness those potentials? I doubt it...
The talents that abound in this country is numerous...We just don't have the right tools (leaders) to harness it .. That's why most Nigerians go abroad and make it easily... DTS my tot too...we have d same similar climatic condition in north east ,y can't we achieve d same feat as d Kenyans ,Ethiopians and co Same thing with d ilajes...d same old fable stories we use to hear abt d ilajes of escaping/evading arrest by staying inside d water for three days ,yet we dont get to win any medal in swimming @ d Olympics b4,going by d stories of d ilajes...abi na lie |
