Senator Ndume represents Borno South Senatorial District at the Nigerian senate. The Boko Haram spokesperson was arrested and paraded in public yesterday by the Nigerian secret police, State Security Services (SSS). Sources at the SSS told Saharareporters that the PDP senator finally admitted that a relationship existed between him and Boko Haram but claimed he was too "scared" to tell it to security agencies. The source also stated that some Senators had began putting pressure on the SSS to release the Senator from detention. The SSS yesterday paraded Ali Sauda Umar Konduga (a.k.a Usman al-Zawahiri) who openly spoke to reporters about his involvement with the Boko Haram sect. Konduga was the spokesperson of Boko Haram who claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing attacks on the Nigerian police headquarters and the UN building in Abuja according to our sources. The accused also named the past Borno State governor Ali Modu Sheriff and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe, the late Saidu Pindar as key supporters of the sect. Ambassador Pindar recently died in a mysterious auto accident that left his car mangled beyond recognition. Nigerian presidency sources told Saharareporters that security agents knew of former Governor Modu Sherrif's involvement in sponsoring Boko Haram a long time ago, but the former governor enjoys support from the chief of staff to President Goodluck Jonathan. Konduga told reporters yesterday that he was a member of the violent militant group in Borno state known as "ECOMOG" which received financial backing from the former governor. SSS sources said Konduga revealed during interrogation that Modu Sherrif had a pact with Boko Haram which made it possible for sect members to get political appointments and substantial financial support from the former governor before a falling out. |

Despite the hardship, bombings, tribal differences, religious killings. What are the factors that are still giving us hope and pushing us to go on? Air your views. |
Any with ideas on it and the list of items that will be gotten? Especially, especially the kind of detergent to be used. Your response would be greatly appreciated. |
Hey Nairalanders, I have been quite passive but an active NL reader. It goes to the ladies, and experience guys out there; what are those questions a girl likes being asked especially when you want to take your relationship to the next level? Questions she would not see as boring or bugging. Do well to drop some hints as you pass by. |
Lets see what the Bible says. Gen.38: 8-10. Paste anyone? ![]() |
Ok, over 30, this is not funny. You have the answers in your finger tip, question is "" |
Cameroonian girls have it all - shape, beauty, backside name them. There's jst 1 problem, the ones who are corrupt are 'more a prostitute' than italian girls - ask Abuja taxi drivers. |

It is coming as a big suprise that the Chelsea we all know and love is serious crisis and has lost all sense of winning. There's no winning mentality, no team spirit, no fighting spirit and the coach has lost managerial skill. I watched helplessly yesterday as we were brutally bashed. I dont know what's wrong but i think it's time to pray so Chelsea fans and friends of Chelsea, Christians, Muslims, Pagans and all please send your prayers cos it has started. Venue's Nairaland, on this thread. Let the prayers begin cos it is really needed. |
nonsense |
what is wrong with our fathers, brothers and men who despoil their daughters, sisters and neigbours. These people mostly underaged from 4 months to 9 years. Make una pity this children. The news is now getting irritating |
Kabikala:This thought have given this thread a new direction but either way they should not truncate democracy. Thore in bank OLE's constitutency think right before casting your vote come next election. jenuel:That's true. No name to protect at all. Do their children enjoy what their fathers do? |
ikay88:I thought they said that even God cannot make them change their view. So they are afraid of Nigerians. |
it took Nigerians exactly 50 years to understand that they have a voice and can speak up, that there is no reason to be afraid of those in authority. for God sake these are the people's representatives. they are still behaving like they have the power to get back to the house but they are in for a shocker. Sometimes I feel we came into this world to play and have fun. Some people milking us dry and we can't say nothing. God love us so much, upon all the milking we are still triving. |
it is all coming down on them as Nigerians are visually angry and protesting their disgust against the anti-human members of the house of reps. anyone with more story? House, its your turn. |
apoti: easy! |
some folks may not agree. i stand to be corrected but Nigerian languages are going extinct. English language has taking over the whole process and nation. the era of slave trade has come and gone but its effect remains. envy self centered greed corruption and likes now language. if you cant speak English fluently, you are regarded as an illiterate. i kind of wonder why. if English is for communication, why must people sweat to pass waec when they can speak and communicate? why would there be questions like clause, adjective, verb and most of all oral English? i dont know how to speak my language because my dad thinks we all must learn English and become an expect. it worked only that i am afraid about the language my kids will speak; and being that i am far away from my state, it might be difficult for me to marry from my tribe. 1. house, do you think language is not important in marriage? (especially if you cant speak like me ) 2. i am thinking of going into politics in the nearest future, what would i use to convince my people? English? 3. am i tribe less? 4. what language will my kids speak? my wife's? (this is most important) |
