MarvellousGod: I'm only considering giving it a chance because someone told me that my Imperial admission will give me an edge and I deferred it from this session to nxt session cos of financial incapabilities...
Still contemplating though cos attending it will incur me alot of charges, time and I'm not even ready for the interview. ..
Before the end of today, I will arrive at a decision. .. God help me You have a point there,ICL is among the best schools in UK and infact its very difficult to gain admission into ICL, Just pray and put in your best. Best of luck. |

Cinderluv: Hello all. Please I need advice on how to meet my ideal man. I must admit that I have a problem and that is I can't see myself marrying someone I don't like just because I want his ring on my finger. I have a job that is highly demanding and doesn't give me much time to socialize. I know that some people may want to suggest leaving that job for a less time-consuming one, but honestly with the job situation in the country I don't see myself doing that because I have a lot of responsibility for now. But I also need a good husband. Everybody reminds me about that now and besides i know my biological clock is ticking away. I don't party neither do I attend clubs but I go to church on Sundays. Please I need suggestions on realistic ways to meet the man of my dreams...Thanks in advance Since you are a Christian and not the very sociable type, the church would be your best bet,I don't recommend Social Media, most guys on Social Media are lions seeking for whom to devour. |

TYPOP: Though it is unusual, we have heard cases of people who applied outside of the application cycle. It will depend on your ability to convince both the security (to gain access to the embassy) and the consular to allow you apply and grant you visa. You will also need God on your side. Never doubt the power of prayer.
Cheers. okay....Thanks. |

TYPOP: Depends on what you are applying for. There is a window within which you can apply for anything other than PHd. For PHd, you can apply anytime. Chemashie is right. He is also doing his PHd.
Cheers. I'm applying for MSc. |

I am not so sure, that is why I am throwing this question open....
I have heard that ladies with beards and hairs on their chest and legs do find it difficult to conceive and bear children because of the Masculine genes they possess.
My question is, is this claim true or it is just African Superstition?Because I believe to a very large extent,it is one major reason why such ladies are discriminated in our Society because they are actually seen as men(literally). |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: His Wedding Or The Job Interview? by Emasel(m): 6:58pm On Nov 04, 2014 |
Fraih: There's this guy whose wedding ceremony is on saturday, all plans has been put in place, arrangements done and everything is set although he is managing a teaching job(where he's paid 20,000) but applied for jobs in some companies...he passed the test he wrote at Chevron and he's waiting to be called for an interview.... Lo and behold, he just got a text message which is an interview invite to hold on saturday- his wedding day at 12noon. And its a 2hr drive to the interview centre, its a 50:50 chance that he'll get the job after the interview because they only requested for some credentials and a few interactive session. He'd be paid 300,000 per month when he starts
Now this guy is in a fix, to postpone the wedding considering the plans, the Invitation cards that has been set, start contacting family and friends talking about the postponement and go for the job or to ignore the interview and run his new home with his 20,000, btw, his wife-to-be is still searching for a job
What do you guys advice? Super Story! Nollywood needs you more than Nairaland, only that your write up is too predictable. |

yinksob002: Just to inform all prospective postgraduate students that repatriation fee is no longer a condition for study visa application. I was at the SA embassy in Lagos today to submit my application and one of d consulars confirmed it and only asked me to pay d visa fee i.e N8,600. However, you must hold your birth cert. with u cos that was d only reason why I was asked to come back on Thursday. All the best guys.. This piece of information just made my day! |
