Hello. I need some help with the following please? For a registered nurse in Nigeria that went through the midwifery council of Nigeria, what level of study would they be able to go for that their RN certificate will be accepted
Then are people who have diploma in Nursing allowed to go for nursing? Will they get visa easily or any Nigerians not given visas for nursing?
Thirdly, can a registered nurse just write the Canada nursing certificate exams from Nigeria or they have to go to Canada first as a student?

It depends on yr age and current CRS scores. If these aren't so good, then please go to the Atlantic provinces and not Ontario. There are loads of people who have been abke to get PR with one year PGWP there. They have the AIPP program and their own particular PR routes for their international students

Does the CSR/ Advisor roles qualify for PR,are they NOC B jobs and is the employer ready to give the necessary letter with the job duties to obtain PR? Also, doe the tech advisor, does it matter if the person does not have IT background as required by the NOC?

Studying in Canada is nothing compared to the big struggle which is the labour market, anyone that says getting a professional job is easy is just deceiving you, Canadian employers value skill sets more than your qualifications infact 0.1/1000 would ask for your certificate before hiring you, what they are after is what you have to offer the company in terms of skill sets. I am not trying to scare anyone here but i want you all to think beyond just coming to Canada to study but what lies ahead of you after study. This is a topic that no one talks about and as you are waiting for your approval response from CIC or preparing to travel, start improving both your soft, interview and technical skills.

Before you graduate, start networking with experienced professionals in your field, i cant emphasize this enough, ask questions and dont get tired of doing so, information is power in Canada and a person who doesn't seek for it will be left in the dark. Know the required certifications in your field, begin the journey before you graduate and make sure you get the most out of it. Let me sight an example. I doubt that response time is d issue after all people reapply within a few months and should their background check take that long in that case if it was done b4? I suspect they just push our applications aside and concentrate on others. How can u explain an application submitted in September still pending? Its mindblowing really.

Just out of curiosity. How would it take Ghana, Kenya and Benin 6 weeks to get their app processed and it takes Nigeria 15 weeks; they are processed from the same visa office.
This could be an issue with the Nigerian system; maybe a slow response time in verifying some documents or background check.

Thanks to everyone who adviced me to write IELTS a second time so as to max out (after I lost 5 points in Jan on my birthday...from 472 it dropped to 467). I sha decided to take the test again last Saturday (computer based test) and I maxed out o....new score 473...hopefully ITA go reach my side come Wednesday.

1st ielts: LRWS (9, 7.5, 7, 8 ) paper based
2nd ielts: LRWS (8.5, 9, 7.5, 8 ) computer based

Also how does IRCC confirm someone's job duties from their employer? by calling or by email?

Please I need some clarification on creating EE profile. For foreign work experience, when they say 'the job in d last ten years should be in only one occupation (NOC skill type O, A or B), does that mean the same NOC code for all.the jobs e.g. 1224 or the jobs can be in different NOC codes as long as they are all A or O.

Secondly, if one has a job offer in Canada but no LMIA, can they select yes for job offer in Canada?

What is a purpose of visit that is actually acceptable to a VO then? It's just hard trying to read a VO's mind and know what they want cos he profiles of those who are approved are not consistent. Kindly Advise on how to scale this purpose of visit hurdle. Even inviting a spouse for graduation which is a clear and strong purpose of visit sometimes does not fly!! Showing ties and itinerary sometimes does not work. *sorry for d rant.

Sir/ma,3.3m(about 12,000cad) is actually not small for a single tourist application but your other strong proof that you will return to nigeria and why canada.my father have no bank statement and got the visa,even is friend apply with about 1.5 million naira balance with proof of his work,family in nigeria and letter of invitation from me and he also got the visa for one year validity with no travel experience .so the purpose of the trip and your strong tie to your home country counts.how do you make a point that you want to celebrate your 50th birthday in canada alone without your family and why canada..you can reapply wlth more documented proof and a good letter of purpose but l will advice maybe you see the gcms note

Have u ever sent a web form to ask for status? Your MP office can also give details of the status of your application. Just mail them with your ICI and DOB and they will inquire of CIC. U get status same day.
