I dont agree. His brother can sponsor him even as a married man. The only thing is that he needs to show social economic and other ties to Nigeria as well as some considerable savings that may not be for his education but probably to take care of his family. Did u show your pension? Any lands? Any certifications etc..., even community volunteer services. Demonstrate this and I think it will fly.

How long have you been working? that you did not make savings to further your education. i.e pure lack of economic tie.
Sponsor: Should be change financial support with employment verification letter.

Lagos issued the letter of introduction.

It might be more efficient for prospecting students here to also try the UK as well as Canada to improve yr chances. I know many people who are now opting for that.

UK Introduces 2 years work Visa for international students... Am sure the traffic for Canadian study permit will reduce drastically and Canadian VOs will reduce their unnecessary refusals, cos am sure most Nigerian peeps with their money will prefer going to the UK than Canada.. What am saying in conclusion is that Approvals will be more than refusals in the coming months, or better still starting from Next year.... Peace

So why is the Nigerian processing time so much longer than others?

What is the balance of ur fees. Add 10k CAD to that.
For ur 2 kids, u need additional 7k CAD plus money for daycare a d I dunno how much that is,burned to show u can take care of the kids as well as urselfand also pay yr fees.

c/o my husband nairaland account,i am really impressed and more determined to relocate to canada when i read various posts on here, i spoke to an agent who said i can work as nanny in Canada but my papers will be processesed from there and his fees is 800k he also gave another option no deposit till visa is out for 1.5m. I am just been sceptical about this whole thing,i want something i can do my self,i would even prefer getting a school that will accept my 800k deposit rather than paying that to an agent. Adding all thedoxumnets u quoted will be fine. I thi k sheshould travel with her son,with consent letter from her hubby. As per ties, herbusiness documentswith proof if business, tax documents, ongoing projects, landed properties and a letter stating all.these and why she would return to Nigeria. She can also harp on previous travels as proof that she will return. Ifherbank balance cam cover all jer expenses for the trio with a sizeablebalance fine. Her husband can also be a co sponsor for her.

Hi everyone, please I'm new to this thread.
I am a Registered Nurse in United States and also a US citizen.
I am inquiring about my sister who wants to apply for Canadian visitors visa. She has been to the UK once and 3 times to US though her US visa is now expired.

I want her to visit Canada as I will be going to Canada to visit too in a couple of months (the same time she will be in Canada if granted a visa). I'm not a Canadian Citizen, but I am a US Citizen. I know that Canada and US are 2 different countries.

My question is, will writing a letter ( stating that I will be visiting Canada too for tourism) together with proof of my Status in United States and also employment status be of benefit to her during her Canadian Visa application? She also has a friend in Canada who has her PR and willing to send her an invite.

Will it also be good if I add my statement of account as well? As I will be making hotel reservations for us. She also has her own statement of account to add as the primary applicant.

Secondly, can she use 2-3 months bank statements for her application? She has her own business. What other supporting documents can her husband add to her application? He also owns a block industry.

As for family ties, she's married and living with her spouse in Nigeria. She has a 7 months old son who is a US citizen. She paid all her medical Bill's and has all the proof of payment. I would love her to visit with her son and use her hubby as a family tie back home. She can also use my mom too as a tie. Or will it be better to apply for herself alone without including the son in her application? Though her son is a US citizen and doesn't need a Visa to visit Canada.

Lastly, what is the minimum amount for her to have in her account?

I would really appreciate if someone can answer these questions for me. Thank you in advance!

I dont think theres any need for birth certificate. Just complete the form. U probably used a wrong version of the form initially.

It is well, take heart. If this is what ur heart really wants, dont give up. What were d reason for refusal both times? U need to order your gsms note and also a clearer profile of what u submitted - previous and current degree, ties, etc. Was ur SOP reviewed b4 u submitted? I have come to.learn that the SOP is a very powerful document that can turn d tude for u. It is well.

Hello everyone, I haven't posted here for awhile because I was patiently awaiting the outcome of my application. If a day can get any worse I'd definitely say today August 21.

Having had an unproductive day, I got home with a "donotreply" mail awaiting my return. Logged into MyCIC account, downloaded the PDF file and the subject is re: Validity of biometric information. Going by recent trend, I know the outcome already. As I await the other correspondence letter, these are the documents I submitted:

These are some of the documents I remember submitting. I applied for winter on time, so as to allow more time for document verification, still it wasn't successful. Times as this you just wonder what went wrong.

Before the second correspondence letter comes later today/tomorrow, as many out there reading this I need HELP on my third application. Please.
