PoliticsRe: Crowd Welcome President Buhari In Nasarawa State (Photos) by emeka2847: 7:57pm On Feb 06, 2018
It is such talks that will make Buhari win in 2019. He's always lost SE and SS, and the aim should be to capture northern states. But this tribal line of campaign would only win sentiments for him in the northern states once they perceive that we are not working with issues but tribe religion and Section

Ngokafor:
His fellow brain-dead Almajiris...

..They have always followed around like flies after faeces all the while he failed in his bid to be the President on three occassions....He only succeed in 2015 because of clueless Middle-belters for reasons best known to them and myopic folks in the South because of a useless VP position.

PoliticsKassim Afegbua Insists Babangida Authorised ‘Vote Out Buhari’ Statement by emeka2847(op): 8:39pm On Feb 04, 2018
Controversy as spokesman insists IBB authorised ‘Vote out Buhari’ statement

Kassim Afegbua, the spokesman of General Ibrahim Babangida, has insisted that the former military president approved the statement he issued, calling on Nigerians to vote out president Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

Afegbua in a telephone conversation with our reporter, maintained that IBB has not denied the statement. “The statement is in order. IBB did not hold any press conference in Minna. It was overzealous people that issued that statement of his denial. I wouldn’t issue any statement without his approval. Go ahead with the statement. I have spoken with him and he said he has not recanted the statement,” he said.

Babangida in a press statement released on Sunday by Afegbua, urged Buhari to sacrifice his personal ambition for national interest, while calling on Nigerians to vote out Buhari in 2019.

However, hours later another statement was circulated by press release distribution agency, PRNigeria, claiming that IBB has disowned the earlier statement issued by his media aide.

“Let me categorically state that as former President and Statesman, I have unfettered channel of communication with the highest authorities without sensational public correspondence, therefore those views expressed over there are personal views of the writer,” IBB was quoted in the statement.

Some people are celebrating. That are are too foolish to realise that in a fight involving a mobile group and a stationary group, it is the stationary group having no where to run to that intimately suffers more.

san316:
Some immature minds commenting up there are unaware of what they are calling for. The fulani people can do worse damage to those communities than the communities can do to them. It is better they stop this now before they start something they cannot end.

PoliticsRe: GB Onoh: "Buhari Jailed My Father But I Support Him For 2019" by emeka2847: 9:29am On Jan 27, 2018
Thank God he didn't say 2019

AlexReports:
The first son of former governor of old Anambra State, Chief C C Onoh, has declared his support for President Muhammadu Buhari, who jailed his father in 1983 as a military Head of State.
Onoh's son, Chief GB Onoh, made the declaration at inauguration of the Governance Support Group(GSG), a political support think tank, in Enugu yesterday.
He said that it was time that Ndigbo realized their fortune and political future is better guaranteed and protected under Buhari.

While addressing the audience at the event, made up of select delegates from the five states of the Southeast region, he said, "You know thatBuhari jailed my father. You remember what happened after the 1983 coup, he arrested my father and put him in detention, so I am supposed to be the last man on earth to support Buhari for a second term in office come 2019.
"But I tell you today that President Buhari is the hope for the Southeast for us to get a shot at the Presidency. We must support him without any sentiment."
The Governance Support Group in the South East was inaugurated to support the campaign efforts of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) for President Buhari, an organization formed to ensure that Ndigbo contributed to Buhari re-election.

It will be recalled that a few days ago, APC leaders from the Southeast visited Buhari at AsoRock and became the first region to officially endorse Buhari for a second term in office.‎

CrimeRe: Ekiti Pregnant Woman Killed By Fulani Herdsmen (Graphic Photo) by emeka2847: 7:37pm On Jan 18, 2018
What stops us from thinking that she could have been killed by the same killers who killed the Fulani man being that it was same spot. Shouldn't this be the first suspicion?

As a people, we need to separate what we suspect from what we know for sure. Pity

thornapple:
The herdsmen don't come out to claim responsibility like Boko Haram. The nature of the killings are usually what is used. It bears herdsmen brutality as seen in all parts of the country. Every other thing with respect to the woman's tribe and location falls in place. So?
