Science/Technology › Re: Thread For Solar System/Electricity Owners in Nigeria. by Emeka71(m): 5:23pm On Jun 07, 2016

SycophanticGoat:
How long have the batteries lasted? What brand of batteries and do they deliver to the stated capacity?

There is no PHCN supply in my village for 5 years ;we have used inverter with generator for 2 years since 2014 they added solar since early this year I think ; the solar powers the house during the day including 2 deep freezers out of 3 because we have 3 deep freezers ; we just put on generator at night by 7:00 or 8:00 or sometimes for only 2 hours or not at all unlike when there was no solar and inverter when we used to put generator on from 7:00 in the night till 7:00 at dawn; nowadays ; we put off the generator by 12 midnight or by 1:00 or 2:00; the inverter which would have charged the batteries ; the inverter will work till dawn ;when afterwards the solar shall pick-up and resume working The battery sometimes deliver to stated capacity .

Christianity Etc › Re: 7 Significant Numbers From The Bible by Emeka71(m): 11:19pm On Jun 05, 2016

As for 70; David lived for 70 years and was adjudged to have lived long and died of old age ; in the real sense ; a 70-years old should still be waxing strong ; e.g. Senator Florence Ita-Giwa at age 70 is still bouncing on young boys ; Pastor Adeboye is way 75-years or there about and waxing strong ; (My grandfather waxed strong until May 2013 ;died at 89-years); Saul who struck down himself at battle and was adjudged to be very active as somebody in his prime even lived more than 70-years.

Nairaland General › Re: What Is/are Your Favorite(s) Section(s) On Nairaland? by Emeka71(m): 10:40pm On Jun 05, 2016

Phones section from the onset; followed by Gaming section , Webmasters section , recently Computers section ; when I joined this forum in 2007; Phone section was my house and in those days only guys were vibrant in that section ; but these days, babes have started featuring there . Way back in time the babes were more vibrant in Romance section and also observation is that in the good old days of this forum ; posts were mainly texts ;pictures were scarce ; nowadays every topic carrying pictures ; also in those days the thing was difficult to know a babe because they hardly put profile pictures but now people display profile photos which is a good concept .
