Yorubas don't get so attached to religion. During my stay in Ibadan, my good neighbour called Mummy Prosper, a Christian with her husband would wear hijab and enter mosque whenever they are having jumaat session. Even our 2020 crossover night at Salvation Ministries, Mokola-Ibadan had small muslim girls in attendance wearing hijab

In a typical Yoruba family, you will see those attending Church with their mom, Mosque with their Dad and those that don't attend any.

I have always admire their tolerance towards religion unlike North and SE sometimes.

Even my tribe Igbo with 98% Christians still have small number of Muslims in Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi but they know their limit and they know some certain Islamic practice won't be welcomed in Igboland. One Alh Muhd Kabir Orjiegbulam has been trying so hard to propagate Islam through his Facebook page called Islamic family calling but he's not finding it funny among Igbos there. During NYSC in osun, my hausa friend said he doesnt like going to the mosque because the practice and teaches something different. I'm presently in core North(Kebbi State). An average Northern Muslim sees Yoruba Muslims as infidels. That's why that Hausa guy in Osun found it very difficult to go yoruba mosque. Nonetheless, in every mosque having both tribes present, an Hausa Imam will preside over the session and Quran teaching. They lord over yoruba Muslims as their superior. That's what afonjas won't like you to know.

I keep saying it, Nigeria has to choose between having Igbo Presidency or Biafra in 2023.
