Science/TechnologyRe: Choosing The Right Translation Company In USA: A Guide by emekaemekus: 1:42pm On Aug 22, 2023
Hi I am a professional proofreader and editor, my WhatsApp number is 08103500891.uote author=ollystar2003 post=125206769]Are you looking for the right translation company in the USA?

With so many options available, it's hard to know which one is best.
To help you make an informed decision, we've put together this guide on choosing the right translation services provider.
We'll look at key factors like cost and quality of service, as well as useful tips that will ensure you get the most out of your money.
Read on to find out more!
Understanding Your Needs And Goals
When it comes to choosing the right translation company in the USA, exploring all of your options is key. You need to carefully weigh each option and consider what would best suit your needs and goals before you make a decision.
To do this effectively, begin by making a list of possible translation companies that offer services in the USA so you can compare them side-by-side. Consider factors such as pricing, quality of service, turnaround time, customer reviews and experience with similar projects when evaluating them. Don’t forget to factor in any hidden costs or fees like rush charges too.
Once you have narrowed down your selection of potential partners, reach out for more details about their services, team members involved and even references from previous clients they have worked with who can provide an honest review on their performance.
This will give you an insight into how well they work and if they are able to fulfill your requirements within budget and deadline constraints. Taking these steps gives you the confidence that you won't regret your choice later on down the line.
Evaluating Potential Service Providers
When choosing a translation service provider, it's important to thoroughly evaluate their qualifications and explore all of the credentials they bring to the table. Start by looking at how long they have been in business—the longer the better! Make sure you also ask about any industry certifications or special training that may be pertinent to your project. It is also helpful to get references from past clients so that you can gain an understanding of who you will be working with and what services they offer.
It’s also essential to examine the range of languages and dialects spoken by potential providers – make sure they work with yours! Additionally, inquire whether they provide additional language-related services such as interpretation, transcription and subtitling. Finally, check if the company offers other related services such as website localization, cultural consulting or content management systems.
To ensure that you are getting quality service, request samples of previously translated documents and compare them against original translations done by native speakers. Be sure to pay attention to accuracy of terminology as well as grammar and syntax usage.
Furthermore, think through pricing models for each supplier carefully and determine which one best fits your budget needs without compromising on quality. Looking into these factors before selecting a provider will help you find one that meets all your requirements while ensuring peace of mind when it comes time for delivery.
Examining Their Portfolio And Reputation
Once you have a list of potential service providers, it's time to evaluate them. The best way to do this is by examining their portfolio and reputation. This can be done through seeking referrals, researching the provider online, and asking questions.
Here are three key points to consider when assessing a translation company:
1. Quality Assurance: Are they compliant with industry standards? What kind of processes or tools do they use for quality control?
2. Experience: How long have they been in business? Do they specialize in any particular language pairs or industries?
3. Reputation: What do other customers say about their services? Can you find reviews on third-party sites such as Yelp or Google Reviews?
These considerations will help you determine if a translation provider is right for your project needs. Look out for red flags like delayed delivery times or poor customer service - these should be taken seriously!
Additionally, ask yourself if the provider offers any additional services that could benefit you, such as localization, editing, etc. Doing your due diligence now will save you from headaches later down the line.
Investigating Their Quality Assurance Process
When researching a translation company, it's important to understand their quality assurance process and how they handle outsourcing options. To get an idea of the level of quality you can expect from a company, ask questions about their language pairs, internal editing processes and other details regarding the way they complete projects.
The following table provides some recommended questions to ask when evaluating any potential translation partner:
|Questions|Recommendations ---|---|--- What is your experience with specific language pairs? | Ask for samples in languages that are critical to your business operations so that you have confidence in the accuracy of translations. Do you employ native speaker editors? | Make sure there is a qualified editor available who is fluent in both source and target languages. How do you ensure quality control? | Ensure the company utilizes established procedures for monitoring and verifying all completed translations. Are outsource services used? | If so, investigate those companies as well to make sure that standards remain consistent across multiple providers. Do you use automated systems or software tools? | Automated solutions may offer cost savings but may lack nuance compared to manually translated content.
It’s also wise to inquire if they provide additional services such as localization (adapting text to regional cultural norms) or transcreation (creative adaptation of text). Ensuring these tasks are completed correctly boosts the effectiveness of global communications and helps build trust among customers around the world. Therefore, carefully evaluating a provider’s ability to deliver on specialized requirements is essential before making a commitment.
No matter which service provider you select, taking time upfront to research how their team works and what kind of results they produce will help ensure successful outcomes over the long term — while avoiding costly mistakes caused by inadequate quality control measures later down the road.
Comparing Prices And Payment Options
It's no secret that the language industry is highly competitive, with countless translation companies vying for your business. So how do you decide which one is right for you?
Price comparisons and payment options are an important factor in any decision-making process when it comes to selecting a translation company in the US.
When comparing prices, look carefully at what each offer includes. Are there discounts or incentives available such as loyalty programs? How does the pricing compare against other services on the market? Make sure to thoroughly read through all terms and conditions before committing to any particular service provider.
Payment methods should also be taken into consideration, so check if they accept major credit cards, PayPal or bank transfers. Also take note of whether they offer installment plans and/or financing options.
Being aware of these details up front can help save time and money down the line by avoiding unexpected costs associated with using certain payment methods.
No matter which translation company you choose, ensuring that their fees fit within your budget while offering convenient payment methods will help make sure you get quality results without breaking the bank.
Researching Their Technology And Expertise
When researching a translation company in the USA, it’s important to check their credentials and technology.
Start by reviewing their qualifications; look for certifications from organizations like ASTM International or the American Translators Association (ATA).
Ask if they have any specialized experience that could be applied to your project—this will give you an idea of how well-equipped they are to handle your work.
It can also be helpful to seek feedback from other customers who have used the company's services before.
Look at online reviews and ask around on relevant forums; this is one of the best ways to get honest opinions about quality and customer service.
You may even find out more information about specific technologies and skillsets available through the provider.
Finally, don't forget to consider pricing when selecting a translation company in the US.
Make sure you understand all costs associated with each option so you can accurately compare rates between providers.
Doing research ahead of time helps ensure that you're getting value for your money—as well as peace of mind knowing that your translation needs are being taken care of properly.
Checking Their Security And Confidentiality Policies
When choosing a translation company in the USA, it is important to be sure that your data and information will remain secure. To ensure security and confidentiality standards are met, you should make sure potential service providers have effective protocols and policies in place.
Here's what to look for:
1. Data Encryption - Ensure the agency encrypts any sensitive documents or files with advanced technologies such as TSL/SSL encryption technology.
2. Privacy Protocols - Confirm whether the provider has privacy-protective measures like two-factor authentication before allowing access to confidential materials.
3. Background Checks - Verify if they perform background checks on employees who handle confidential material prior to hiring them.
These steps will help you feel confident that your project remains safe while working with a translation company in the USA. Taking this extra time when selecting a provider can save you costly headaches down the road – not only financially but also by providing peace of mind knowing that your data is securely stored and protected from outside sources at all times.
Understanding Their Turnaround Time And Delivery Options
Once you've confirmed the security and confidentiality policies of a translation company, it's important to evaluate their turnaround time and delivery options. Understanding these elements can help streamline your workflow and eliminate any surprises that could delay projects or affect trust with clients.

When assessing a translation service provider in the US, ask about their typical timeline for completing translations. Even if they don't offer rush services, know how quickly they typically complete tasks as this will give you an idea of what to expect when working with them.
Additionally, inquire about additional services like quality assurance checks and proofreading - both of which can add extra days onto the completion date.
It's also beneficial to determine whether the company uses digital tools to reduce processing times or relies solely on manual labor. Digital solutions are available from many providers and can be especially helpful when managing large volumes of content or multiple languages simultaneously while helping maintain accuracy levels and establishing trust with customers.
Ultimately, understanding their turnaround time and delivery options is key to selecting a reliable translation partner in USA who will meet all your expectations.
Reviewing Their Customer Support And Satisfaction Guarantee
Finding the right translation company in USA can be a daunting task. With so many companies to choose from, it is important that you make sure you are selecting one with both reliable credentials and customer satisfaction guarantees.
As part of your research process, you should take the time to review their credentials and evaluate trustworthiness before making any commitments. Start by looking for reviews or testimonials on third-party sites such as Google Reviews or Facebook about their work. This will give you insights into how others have experienced working with the company and what kind of quality standards they provide.
An extra step would be to check out the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website to see if there are unresolved complaints registered against them. If there are none, then this could indicate a good track record when it comes to customer service levels.
When assessing different translation services, make sure to ask questions about turnaround times, accuracy rates, project management processes and whether they offer speciality services like certified translations. Additionally, inquire about additional fees associated with rush orders or other complications that might arise during the job completion cycle.
It's essential that you get all these details confirmed beforehand in order to ensure an accurate delivery timeline and complete peace of mind. All in all, taking the necessary steps to validate a potential translation firm’s reputation is highly recommended before committing resources towards any project!
Consulting Reviews And References
When it comes to selecting the right translation company in the USA, consulting reviews and references is of utmost importance. After all, this will be your go-to partner for translating important documents!
Here are a few things you should consider before making a decision:
1. Evaluate their experience - How long have they been providing translation services? Have they worked with clients from similar industries as yours? What sort of reputation do they have among previous customers?
2. Research credentials - Check if the team consists of translators who are certified by an accredited body or organization. This ensures that you're working with professionals who understand the complexities involved in translation work. Also make sure to check whether their processes follow industry standards and regulations.
3. Ask for samples - Requesting sample translations can give you a good idea about how well the company understands the nuances of language, culture and context when it comes to completing projects accurately and on time. You should also inquire into any additional services offered such as copywriting or localization support.
By taking these steps carefully and thoroughly researching potential partners before signing contracts, you can feel confident that you've chosen the best translation company for your needs.

The jink of her unexpected "No" sent an abrupt look of shock throughout his blissful face. He was right there on his knees, surrounded by family and friends. Being confused would seem as not so the right word to use. They've had no issues since their 3years of courtship. Moreover she had been pushing for this, and now she unhesitantly turned him down?
Her parents rushed out after her as they also got a share in the shock. This was all happening around 6pm on a showery Wednesday evening. Paul was still right there with a knee still impressed on the floor staring sharply into thin air in a transfixed state. With some words of comfort he was able to stand on his feet which was probably stiffened from the declination from Stephanie. The look on his face posed the question "why?" When he got home he called severally but it seemed she intentionally avoided his calls. This was a young man climbing his way through the hurdles of life, he wasn't earning enough but he felt love should augment for it. He finally received the answer he was pushing for when she knocked his door around 7@m the following morning. She made it clear to him that she can't spend her life with someone who's not even certain of his next meal. She left him with another round of shock. It appeared like a streak of pain. He vowed to be a success someday.
Months passed by, then years. Finally he was the man he dreamt to be. He was finally feeling fulfilled but not entirely; he wanted his ex to see him for what He has become but there was no certainty of them ever crossing paths again because since the last five years they haven't met, neither had he seen her parents.
On a faithful Monday morning, he manned up and drove right to his ex's family house to show off himself and rub his success on their faces. Just as he had anticipated he met only her parents. "Probably she'd be married," he thought to himself. Luckily her parents agreed to take him to her after much persuasion. They got into his car and after 20 minutes of driving through the roads, they stopped by a cemetery. He became confused but he didn't utter a word. Then he found himself standing beside a grave written " Madu Stephanie Greg." His heart sunk, he was inquisitive to know what had happened. Well, she rejected his proposal not because she felt he wasn't good enough, but because she was critically Ill and didn't want to add to his burden as she always knew he had a bright future. She died 6 months after severing ties with him. Uncontrollably, the saline liquid from his eyes decorated his chicks. He had been planning revenge for so long for someone who wanted nothing but the best for him. There was nothing he could do now but weep silently. Stephanie’s mom then reached out for her handbag. She brought out a letter Stephanie wrote just a few weeks to her death, and she had wanted Paul to have it. He couldn’t even have a firm grip of it, his hands were shaky and his body filled with terror. It read :
“With tears I pen down these words and with fright I weep for our memories…If you ever receive this any day it’ll mean I’m already gone so I apologize now for leaving you when you needed me the most but you must know that I never for once stopped praying for you… promise to inscribe on your heart forever – our memories. “
Once more, his face was all gloomy, once more, another sad day.

As the battle to cushion the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic continues in every part of the world, different measures are employed by world powers to mitigate its effects depending on their strengths and capabilities. Some governments have prioritised stabilising their stock markets while others are addressing the key public health concerns. What is evident is that the pandemic has proven to be the greatest challenge in recent human history.

Surprisingly, the economies of the advanced countries in the world have been hit the hardest by the pandemic. Stock values plummeted in the worst recorded falls. The banking industry and global value chains have been disrupted, resulting in a global economic crisis. In a nutshell, the corona virus has exposed the vulnerability of the global economy.

Let me begin this properly by asking one big relevant question. How is Nigeria faring in the face of this global economic quagmire?

In response to the threat of severe economic downturn as visible from other nations that were already grappling with the economic effects of COVID-19, President Muhammadu Buhari, on the 30th of March, 2020, constituted a crisis committee headed by the Hon. Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning to look at what the impact of the corona pandemic might be on the budget and the economy.

The committee which was later called the Economic sustainability Committee (ESC) and chaired by VP Osinbajo. It comprised of several Cabinet Ministers as well as the Group Managing Director of the NNPC and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo chairs the Economic Sustainability Council
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo chairs the Economic Sustainability Council
The primary aim of the ESC was to develop a precise and strategic Economic Sustainability Plan, suggest new policy measures and interventions, provide a Fiscal/Monetary Stimulus Package, including support to private businesses (with emphasis on strategic sectors most affected by the pandemic) and vulnerable segments of the population. One could only surmise that this quick and timely proactive measure by the Nigerian government gave credence to its seriousness in tackling one of our biggest economic challenges in history.

The VP Osinbajo led ESC team set out to work in what looked like a very critical assignment with due diligence and commitment. Several consultations were made and memoranda issued. The synergy among the Members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council, the 36 State Governors and Leadership of the National Assembly was also strengthened. All hands were on deck as Nigeria’s economic survival was at stake

As hours of numerous meetings and consultations chameleoned into days, and then weeks, the Osinbajo chaired ESC team arrived at an antidote to bring the nation out of the economic mess. The committee designed a plan; The National Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP) which was submitted to President Buhari on June 11th, 2020. On the occasion of the presentation of the Economic Sustainability Plan to the president, the Vice President remarked “We are confident that if the proposals are taken as a whole and implemented conscientiously, Nigeria will avert the worst of the impending economic headwinds, and covert this crisis to a victory for the Nigerian economy”.

The Economic Sustainability Plan has 11 key components that are sophisticated enough to drive the economy through the turbulent waters of the COVID-19 pandemic. Amongst the components are Self reliance, Mass Agricultural Programme, Job creation, Public works & Road Construction Programme, Mass Housing Programme, Support for local production & manufacturing, Installation of solar home system and lot more.

The Economic Sustainability Plan consists of two major pillars. One is to create jobs and the second aims to inject cash into the economy. These will be achieved through targeted investments in agriculture and agro-processing, manufacturing, renewable energy, housing and information technology. The plan which includes cash transfers for medium and small scale enterprises is also remarkable by its emphasis on the use of local contents to support its initiatives which automatically means producing what we eat and consuming what we produce.

The Economic Sustainability Plan proposes the creation of 5 million jobs within 12 months by bringing 20,000 – 100,000 hectares of land per state into cultivation. The private sector is expected to drive the process as suggested by the VP.

More intriguing part of the plan which has received massive commendations is the creation of the solar energy project. The plan proposes supplying 5 million Nigerian households (or about 25 million individuals) with solar energy. It requires that solar power equipment be produced in Nigeria.

It is also pertinent to mention that the economic plan features creation of 1.8 million jobs specifically through the construction of 300,000 homes (400 in each local government area) engaging young professionals and artisans who form themselves into small and medium scale businesses within the construction industry, using indigenous labour and materials. The Ministry of Works and Housing is tasked with its implementation.

Going by the impact this plan will have on the Nigerian people if finally implemented, one is left to ponder and appreciate Prof. Osinbajo’s usefulness in this administration. Despite the limited executive functions of his office, he has made himself a fulcrum that balances complex things in this government. His patriotism, commitment and the urge to get things done has earned him the country’s chief economic expert. He has succeeded in establishing different polices that are masses oriented and beneficial to the general public.

Unlike previous Vice Presidents Nigeria has had, Prof. Osinbajo has won the trust of the President and the masses alike with his integrity, leadership skills, patriotism and passion for a better nation.

On the occasion of 62nd birthday anniversary of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, March 8 2019, President Muhammadu Buhari described his relationship with his deputy as one of a special bond. “Osinbajo has diligently championed the values of setting the foundation for the peace, progress and stability of the country by working very hard to build a resilient economy, while promoting transparency and accountability.” he said.

Beyond a shadow of doubt, the Economic Sustainability Plan designed by the Osinbajo led ESC team is the blueprint for economic recovery and sustainability during and post COVID-19 era. The “think Osinbajo vote Buhari campaign” strategy of 2015 is still so much in play. The formidable partnership of the duo led President Muhammadu Buhari designating his deputy, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to supervise the overall implementation of the N2.3 trillion project in what seems like the biggest project in the nation’s history.

In addition to this, I'm an avid reader; I read everyday across genres so much that I'm equipped with the needed vocabulary required to write in standard English. This is why it would be impossible to tag my writing 'plagiarized'. Besides all of these I am a positive and patient person ever willing to learn. Also paying rapt attention to details is my attribute. It would equally interest you to note that I'm tolerant though not to the extent of being cheated. For that alone I do not wish to tolerate. Cheating, to me, is a crime. And I cannot for any reason tolerate criminals!

Have I been involved in writing? Of course, I've written numerous works, from blog post to e-book to lesson notes lol. Even fiction: poems, short stories, all I've written. And I've practically demonstrated my skills in several platforms online. But what has kept me going is the belief that It is not yet uhuru. So it is the need to explore more and spread my wings in order to soar higher that I'm determined to keep learning. There is a saying and I believe it is true: when you stop to learn you start to die -- a kind of death though. With this I think learning from me is an unending process: from the cradle to the grave.

So Sir, it would be my honour if you hire me.

Warm Regards

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Youths Must Gather To Do Business Instead Of Gossip/alcohol Gatherings by emekaemekus: 3:19pm On Jan 06, 2023
I am a professional proofreader and editor. This is my WhatsApp number 08103500891.quote author=ybilad post=74320872]Not every entrepreneur starts out with a specific idea in mind. And with so many small business ideas, finding the right one is easier said than done.
It may seem like all of the good business ideas or the best small ideas have been taken, but they are not. Most successful small business ideas come from individuals who work for someone and they believe they can do better.

Some might start out as employees or apprentices for other businesses and then gradually build up the skills and experience before they set out on their own. But with the right idea and determination, they can make their dreams of having their own small business come true.

Small Business Ideas
Here is a list of business ideas, 50 to be exact, for beginners with the right skill sets but without too much capital and business experience.

Home Contractor
If you have the experience working for a company that does home repairs or contracting work, then you can fairly easily start your own contracting business where you offer various services to homeowners.

Lawn Care Specialist
Starting a lawn care business mainly just requires some equipment, transportation and a steady base of clients. So you don’t need to have business experience to get started.

Freelance Writer
If you have some writing skills, you can get started with your own writing business fairly easily by offering your services to businesses on a freelance basis.
Blogger
You can also fairly easily start your own blog where you post about topics that match up with your own experience and expertise.

Virtual Assistant
Virtual assistants can offer a variety of different online services to businesses and professionals, including email organization and communication, social media scheduling and bookkeeping. So you can start a virtual assistant business even if your experience in those areas comes from working for other companies.

Home Cleaning Service
For those who enjoy cleaning, or at least don’t mind it, starting a house cleaning business can provide a pretty straightforward path to business ownership.

Child Care Service
If you’re a kid person, you can start a child care business out of your home or even offer babysitting services where you go to the family’s home.

Courier
A courier simply provides a service that delivers messages from one person to another. So you don’t need much in the way of supplies or experience in order to get started.

Accountant
If you’re trained as an accountant, you can build up your own base of business or individual customers and build your own accounting business.

Errand Service
You can also start a business that offers various errand services like picking up dry cleaning or groceries.

Social Media Manager
If you’re knowledgeable about social media, you can potentially offer your services to various businesses managing their social media accounts.

Social Media Influencer
Or you could focus more on building up your own social media accounts and eventually build your business as a social media influencer who earns an income from posting about various brands and promotions.

Etsy Seller
If you have any crafty skills, you can put them to good use by making various items by hand and then selling them on sites like Etsy, which make it fairly easy for beginner business owners.

Flea Market Vendor
You can also focus more on selling your goods in person. Flea markets and similar events provide a pretty simple way for new business owners to get started selling various items.

E-commerce Reseller
Even if you don’t necessarily make your own items, you can purchase and resell goods on sites like eBay or Amazon without any prior business experience.

Web Designer
If you have knowledge or experience in web design, you can offer your services to clients and build your own business as a web designer.

House Painter
You can also take a more low-tech approach and offer services as a housepainter for local homeowners or even businesses.

Dog Walker
If you enjoy spending time with four-legged friends, you can start a business that just offers dog walking services to pet owners who don’t have enough time to walk theirs regularly.

Baker
Starting a food service business can be pretty involved for a beginner. But if you enjoy making food and want to build your first business around it, you can start a baking business where you sell specific items or custom creations for events out of your home kitchen.

Event Planner
For those who have some strong organizational and communication skills, you can build up a client base and start a business planning weddings or various other events.

Hairdresser
If you’re trained in cosmetology, you can start your own business as a hairdresser or hair stylist that travels to clients for events or other occasions.

Makeup Artist
Likewise, you can build up a client base and offer makeup services for events, photoshoots or special occasions.

Musician
If you’re skilled as a musician, you can build a business where you play at events or venues and earn a portion of the ticket sales or merchandising.

Photographer
You can also fairly easily start a business offering photography services for events or local clients who want to schedule portrait photoshoots.

Car Washing or Detailing Service
Car washing or detailing services don’t always need to involve lots of complicated equipment or business acumen. You can set up a simple location where you provide services to customers or you can even travel to clients with your detailing supplies.

T-shirt Designer
Online services like Redbubble and CafePress make selling custom t-shirts fairly simple. So you can create your own designs and sell them online or even order a supply of them to sell on your own.

Coffee Cart Operator
Coffee shops and cafes can be complicated operations. But you can simplify the process and make it more attainable for a first-time business owner by opting for a coffee cart business instead.

Meal Preparation Service
You can also prepare single-serve meals and sell them to consumers out of your home or a simple commercial kitchen as long as you have the supplies and necessary licenses.

Antique Refurbisher
For those who enjoy working with antiques, you can start a business where customers can bring you their items for repair or refurbishing.

Public Speaker
If you have expertise in a given topic, even if you’ve never had your own business in that niche, you can start a business by offering public speaking services at events or conferences.

Personal Trainer
For those who have a lot of experience in physical fitness, you can build up a client base and start working as a personal trainer out of a home gym or even connect with a commercial gym.

Yoga Teacher
Or you could get certified as a yoga instructor and build a business teaching yoga classes.

Dance Instructor
If you want to teach more of a variety of movements, you can start your own dance classes out of your home or a local studio.

Music Teacher
You can also work one-on-one or in small groups to offer music lessons or classes in various instruments or styles.

Tutor
Or you could opt to teach in a one-on-one setting in a variety of different subjects. Providing tutoring services to students can be a fairly straightforward way to start your first business.

Graphic Designer
If you have any design experience, you can work on attracting your own clients who need things like logo or branding design elements.

Tech Support Business
You can also start your own tech support company where you provide assistance to people over the phone or online when they experience tech issues.

Housekeeper
If you prefer working out of a home instead, you can start a business as a housekeeper that provides various homemaking services for families.

Affiliate Marketer
If you’re able to build up your own online network or audience related to a specific topic, you can start working with different brands as an affiliate and earn a portion of each sale you send their way.

YouTube Personality
YouTube also offers a popular platform for people to share information related to a number of different topics. And you can earn a share of ad revenue by posting and promoting your own videos.

Podcaster
You can also start your own podcast and sell advertising space or work with brands to earn an income from your show.

eBook Author
Writing a book isn’t exactly an easy undertaking. But it doesn’t require any official business experience to get started publishing and selling your own ebook online.

Interior Decorator
You can also start a business as an interior decorator without a lot of expensive equipment or complicated business knowledge.

Pool Cleaner
If you want to spend time outside and provide services for local homeowners, pool cleaning is another pretty straightforward service around which you can build a business.

Furniture Maker
You can also build or re-purpose your own furniture and then sell it to local boutiques or even at art fairs or similar events.

Proofreader
If you want to work from home or even just build a small side business, you can offer proofreading services to businesses, authors or individuals who want to pay someone to look over their work.

Resume Service
You can also focus on helping local job seekers who need some help putting together their resumes or cover letters.

Scrapbook Maker
If you enjoy scrap booking, you can actually build a business doing that for customers who want to preserve their memories in a creative way but don’t want to do the work themselves.

Clothing Alterations Service
For those who are skilled with a needle and thread, clothing alterations offers a potential business opportunity that doesn’t require a lot of equipment or prior business knowledge.

Translator
As long as you know multiple languages, you can build a business by offering translator services to individuals or businesses in need of assistance converting conversations or documents from one language to another.
EducationRe: 21 Lucrative Side Hustles For Students On ASUU Strike In Nigeria by emekaemekus: 3:14pm On Jan 06, 2023
I am a professional proofreader this is my WhatsApp number 08103500891.uote author=philad post=112986514]
Why would any tertiary institution student in Nigeria desire to have a side hustle? This was the very first question that came to my mind.

ASUU Strikes are usually determining periods for many Nigerian students. Many students are currently at home with no focus on what to do to get their hands and brains busy.

Although I wanted to begin this blog post by answering that “Why” but, honestly, everyone has different reasons. So I cannot sell you into why you should go into any part-time business. Your reasons are best known to you.

It could be because you want to get rid of your financial challenges. Or become independent, support yourself and your family or complement your monthly allowance. It could also be to monetize your skill. Or ball on campus when school resumes. It could be anything. Like I said earlier, your reason(s) is best known to you.

On that note, let’s check out 21 lucrative side hustles university, polytechnic and college of education students in Nigeria can start.

1. Tutoring/ Teaching

Take it or leave it. Teaching people what they don’t know can earn you a good income.

It could be your course mates or junior students on campus. In fact, it could be secondary or primary school students outside your campus. You’d be surprised that parents need home tutors for their kids. So if you are good at teaching math, English language, and sciences, you can start freelance tutoring. Parents are willing to pay a decent sum of money -as long as you can turn their children’s grade around. You may even decide to tutor UTME students seeking admission into tertiary institutions.

If you work hard and find the right marketplace, you can earn up to ₦50,000 monthly or more.

2. Photography

As a student, you can decide to go into photography. You won’t be the first and neither will you be the last.

If you are good at taking wonderful pictures and you can get a camera for yourself, then you are good to go. You can also learn photography to render professional services to people. People want to take pictures of memorable events, make portraits, and things like that.

3. Freelance Writing and Copywriting

If you love writing and you know you are good at it, you can go into freelance writing. You can write articles for bloggers. Website owners and business people need copywriters that can write advertising copies and business copy. You could also ghost-write for authors.

If your writing skill isn’t poor, go ahead and enhance it by learning from exceptional writers and implementing. Luckily, there are hundreds of blogs out there that teach people how to be a successful freelance writer and copywriter.

Trust me when I say this hustle is a lucrative one. There are many Nigerian students earning up to ₦100,000. You too can! – If have good writing skills.

Luckily, there are numerous local and international freelance websites that you can find work.

4. Start Your Own Blog

This is another lucrative side hustle for students in Nigeria. You can blog at your own free time, anywhere. Although blogging is not a fast way to make money, it can be a great stream of passive income over time.

Find a good niche, set-up your blog, bombard it with valuable content, make it search engine optimized and monetize your blog. If you share useful knowledge that people can’t stop consuming, it can make you an enormous amount of money.

There are many blogs started by students in Nigeria. These blogs not only make them money but also add value to their readers.

5. Editing and Proofreading Services

There are many people who create blog posts, articles, eBooks, scripts, stories, projects documents, etc. These contents, however, need proofreaders and editors to improve their qualities.

If you’re fluent in English language and you are skilled at using software packages like MS Word and Grammarly, editing and proofreading wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Proofreading is about correcting typographies, punctuations, grammars, and spellings. On the other hand, editing has to do with enhancing the quality and engagement of a document. This includes the style, structure, clarity, and reference.

I have friends into this side hustle earning up to ₦100,000 monthly and more on freelance websites.

6. Vlogging
A video blog or video log, sometimes shortened to vlog, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television.

Vlogging or video blogging is also a means of making money online. All you have to do is to make a video and upload to either Facebook, Youtube or Tiktok. Vloggers are money makers just like bloggers. You can also be a full time vlogger or part time vloggers.

7. Dropshipping.
Drop shipping is a form of retail business wherein the seller accepts customer orders without keeping stock on hand. Instead, in a form of supply chain management, the seller transfers the orders and their shipment details to either the manufacturer, a wholesaler, another retailer, or a fulfillment house, which then ships the goods directly to the customer.

As such, the retailer is responsible for marketing and selling a product, but has little or no control over product quality, storage, inventory management, or shipping.

Talk of shoes, sneakers, bags, jewellery, wristwatches, phones, laptops, other electronic gadgets, books, t-shirts, gowns, etc. The numbers of things you can choose from and start selling are almost limitless. In fact, you can do mini-importation. Buy goods at ridiculously low prices from China and sell them twice or thrice the amount!

Students love to look great and use classy items. So find something useful to sell and market your items. People will surely buy from you. At least, this doesn’t require you to learn anything other than how to make profits from buying and selling.

For you to be a successful dropshipper, I will advise you to create a WhatsApp or Telegram group. This will ensure you have an already created audience that are ready to buy your products.

Some people say, dropshipping is a little bit similar to affiliate marketing, well from my own point of view, I will say yes, because the goods are not purchase from you directly, you advertise the goods and get customer to buy the good directly from the vendor.

8. Forex Trading.

If you can learn Forex trading, then you can make huge amount of money. However, Forex trading is not easy to learn. You can gain massively, you can also lose your capital all at once. Ensure you have good knowledge about the Forex market, what to trade and when to trade so that you won't be in a total loss. There are a lot of people making money from Forex trading. So don't dull yourself.

9. Crypto Trading

Crypto trading deals with the buying ans selling of cryptocurrencies or digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Etherium, Dogecoin, etc. I have a lot of friends that are making money from Crypto-trading. For cyrpto trading you can join popular platform such as Binance to get started.

10. Selling of NFTs.

NFT which means Non-fungible token. NFT started gaining weight in 2021. So, ya, NFT is a new investment in town that is why you should don't leave yourself out on the new ways you can be making money online during this ASUU strike. You can get started on platforms such Opensea as well as Binance. The way you buy and sell cryptocurrencies that is also the way you do for NFTS.

11. Phones and Computers Repair

Every student on campus uses at least one phone and virtually every student has a PC. Not just students, but lecturers, non-academic staffs, neighbours and the list go on.

These gadgets also fall sick and have accidents like humans and they need doctors to save their lives –if the owners care that much. You’d be surprised at how students will flock to your abode, seeking help for their dear gadgets’ lives. More patients, more money!

Now, if you want to go into this business, you will need to learn the skill. Say 3 to 6 months training or so. Don’t just go around claiming you can repair phones and PCs o! Learn the skill first, I beg.

12. Social Media Management

Please! Turn your addiction into a money-making hobby -seriously.

The rate at which smartphone users are freaking addicted to social media is alarming!

Guess you’re one of them, right?

Anyways, those data you burn monthly, consuming and posting on social media can fetch you fetch a decent income.

Study social media marketing/managing and render the services to business owners, celebrities that don’t know jack about promoting or managing their social media platforms.

As long as they know social media can be a goldmine for their businesses, they’ll pay you well. Just one client ONLY can pay you a minimum of ₦20,000 monthly! And no one said you should stop at one.?

13. Graphics Designing

Graphic designers reading this would have to pardon me. But I have to tell my people what you guys are hiding.

Designing just one flier costs a MINIMUM of 3k. The same price if you design a business card. You can design just one logo for as much as 10k and more (Depending on your client and skills)! Graphic designers also design cartoon, caricature, design cover, and many more.

Okay. Let’s do a little math calculation.

If you design a minimum of 20 fliers and 5 business cards, cartoon aside, caricature aside, covers aside, photo editing aside, photo manipulation aside.

How much will that make you monthly?

If you’re good at math, you can leave the answer in the comment session below. I think I should stop the secret exposure at this juncture.

14. Website Designing

Forget! In fact, remember! Web designing is a very lucrative business. It is now gaining more attention in Nigeria today because businesses are now realizing how important it is to build an online presence.

Website designing is a great technical skill you can render as a side hustle and, eventually, turn into a serious full-time job.

If you find where your service is needed and market yourself well, you will earn a very good income for designing people’s websites.

You can make as much as ₦300,000 monthly. But you have to learn this skill. Website design isn’t one of the side hustles you can wake up tomorrow morning and start without knowledge.

15. Website Development

Freelance web development is an incredible hustle. So as a student, you can go into it.

If you can learn the skill, within a few months, you’ll be swimming in money.

Fortunately, there are many websites, online courses, and eBooks that you can learn how to code for free!

Just like website design, this side hustle can become a full-time business.

16. Data Analysis

We are in a world of data. Thousands of companies and organizations out there need skilled individuals who are good at handling data. Talk of data mining, data manipulation, data scraping, data entry, and other things that have to do with data. The demand makes data analysis a lucrative side hustle a student can go into.

Data analysis is known as the sexiest job right now. So if you have a flair for numbers or you’re a student of statistics and mathematics, you’ll enjoy data analysis and make money simultaneously.

You can find companies that need these services or sell your services on freelance websites.

17. Catering Services

It could be indoor catering or outdoor catering services or both –depends on your decision. You can begin by informing people around you that you’re into the business or perhaps, approach catering services business to be a casual worker for them whenever you have time, especially during weekends.

Your job may not necessarily be cooking. It could be shopping for catering items, table setting or serving during events. If you are however good at cooking, you can actually turn it into a money-making business.

18. Tailoring / Fashion Designing

If you know how to sew, great! But if you don’t, you can learn.

Tailoring can make you extra income as a student in Nigeria. Sew and wear styles that are so amazing people ask you who made it or where you purchased it. Tada! That’s your chance to promote your side hustle.

In fact, you can brand your business and package it so well that people rate you a 5-star fashion designer.

There is a fashion designing company co-founded by a big brother of mine at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN). They import their fabrics from Dubai and sew classy shirts. Even celebrities patronize them. Now, you may not go to that length, but cut out some nice pieces, advertise your side hustle and, of course, make your money.

19. Modelling

If you can’t sew dresses, then you might want to consider modelling, especially if you have an attractive stature. Many students go into modelling and make a decent amount of money promoting brands. You too can.

Remember the cloth company I mentioned earlier? Well, the company signed some models that help promote their product. The image attached to this section is an image of a student of Lagos State University (LASU) –a friend actually.

20. Makeup Artist

Trust me. Beauty in this life, especially in Nigeria, is no longer in the eyes of the beholder. It is now in the freaking hands of makeup artists.

Seriously, I really don’t know how they do those things but they can turn a demon into an angel. And if a man isn’t careful, he’d be chasing what really isn’t.

Anyways, they earn a very good income covering up people’s facial flaws.

As a student, basically a female student, you might want to consider this hustle.

Wait, I didn’t say guys can’t become makeup artists. I only hear there are. But I haven’t seen one anyway.

21. Make and Sell Products

There are numerous products that you can learn how to make and then sell. It could be body cream, toilet soap, dish soap, beads, snacks, sandals, handbags, school bags and so on. Learn how to make any of these things or anything that I didn’t mention, produce them and sell to the public.

Out of all these side businesses, have you decided which one you want to go into? If you’re already into one of them, tell us about your experience so far. If there’s anything else I’m missing out, let me know in the comment session below. And make sure you share this content with others –you never know whose life you might impact today.

I am a professional proofreader this is my WhatsApp number 08103500891uote author=wasbo89 post=86978139]Dear Salary Earners and Job Seekers,

Look for a way to earn extra income through a side hustle. Don’t leave your full time job and suffer. As little as N30k each month from a side hustle is fine. Sometimes you will earn double or triple. (I will break down how to make N30k in my next post).

Also, entrepreneurship is difficult. Start small if you don’t have money to invest.

There are many small businesses ( Home Laundry Pickup, Home Tutor, Small Chops Vendor, Office Lunch Delivery, Content Writer, House Cleaner, Interior Designer, Business Centre, Event Planner, Web Designer, Babysitter, Social Media Manager, Small Business Tax Preparation, Proofreader Barber, Trader etc. ) you can start on the side and water them till they grow into something that can potentially pay most of your bills or pay you a salary, and of course employ other people and pay them salaries.

Please NOTE,
If you are a Job Seeker, why not start a Business than sitting down at home doing nothing. Look at yourself deeply and think of a business you can start because everybody came to this world with one or more skills.
Why I Am The Perfect Person For Your Training

There are writers and many of them abound in our world today. They spew out brilliantly composed essays worthy of reading. But I am more, and this is why I am confident I am a perfect fit for your training. Aside from crafting neatly paragraphed and carefully edited work I go to the extent of ensuring readability of my essay to target audience.
