Education / Re: Nigerian Schools' Disciplinary System; How Effective Is It? by emeke123(m): 6:20pm On Jul 09, 2009
Trust me it is definately effective. I support it 100% but the only problem is with such act its hard to know when such action is done out of anger or hate. I was disciplined when I was back home and outcome has taken me a long way to become a better citizen.
Career / Re: Should I Quit My Programming Job? (Can't Cope) by emeke123(m): 6:06pm On Jul 09, 2009
Dont quit. If you think you're becomming overwhelmed take a break and hit the books to learn and hopefully refresh your brain. Trust me its really hard when you start because you are trying to prove yourself but it will take time.

And if you are going to quit then you ensure you have a good backup plan. dont want to go from fire to frying pan
Programming / Re: Post Your C#.net Questions Here by emeke123(m): 3:40am On Mar 15, 2009
unfortunately you can not disable to cancel button on the top corner of a form. You can create a form dialog which does not have the "Cancel" button. Hope that helps.

WOW, well if you asked me i think the spirit switched places from the rubber to the woman. LOL. The fear spirit that was in the woman switched with the "brave let's attack this woman" spirit which was in the rubber at the time he tried to rob her.

Car Talk / Re: What To Do When Robbers Want To Take Your Car? by emeke123(m): 4:43pm On Sep 15, 2008
But thinking about it, if you worked soooo hard to buy the car and it gets taken away from you overnight by armed robbers my first reaction is "heck no you aint taking my car I worked hard for".

But I guess fighting for the car over your life is seriously taking chances I personally will fight for the car untill i see a gun or a weapon that can take my life. But if the robber is blowing smokes then no way in this earth would I give up my car.
Travel / Re: Nigerians Living Illegally In China Are Now Going Through Hell! by emeke123(m): 4:22pm On Sep 15, 2008
Personally speaking. China will be the last place on earth i move to,  I rather move to the North pole than China. Although i hate cold, but its better than some type of inhumane treatment

Programming / Re: Should A Programmer Marry A Programmer? by emeke123(m): 3:49pm On Jul 28, 2008
Honestly,

I dont think a programmer should marry another programmer, Think about all the things your discussion would be based on And I personally would like to marry someone who is not in the same profession I am in,

And also think about when you talk to her about technology, she'll think your the most smartest person in the whole universer, oh well. that's my 2 cent.
