From today going forward, when the detractors will come to Abuja to deceive those who may not know the truth about the state, tell them that the mammoth crowd we witnessed today at the venue of our party's presidential rally has spoken volume that indeed, Akwa Ibom is PDP. Come February 16, 2019, the state will give a resounding vote that will translate into electing the next president of Nigeria in the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar". ~>Gov Udom Emmanuel at the Atiku/Obi presidential campaign rally in Akwa Ibom State.

#AtikuInUyo Atiku’s ‘Connect’ With The People Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party is in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital to flag -off his campaign rally. Besides Chief MKO Abiola of the Social Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar is the first presidential candidate that has emotional and psychological ‘connect’ with collective interest of ordinary Nigerians. I'm persuaded that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP has the best blueprints that would get Nigeria working again. The reason is that Nigeria, under APC has become the poverty capital of Africa, hence the need to collectively redeem it! #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain

ATIKU ABUBAKAR FLAGS- OFF PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party will tomorrow Monday 28th January 2019 storm the city of Uyo to flag -off his campaign rally. This is the first time a presidential candidate has appealed to the psyche and collective interest of Nigerians. I'm persuaded that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the PDP has the best blueprints that would make good things happen in Nigeria. Restructuring, Youths development and Job creation are some of salient issues that characterize Atiku's blueprint for Nigeria. Governor Udom Emmanuel may have seen tomorrow when he enunciated his Completion Agenda of Security, Small & Medium Enterprises, Aviation, Infrastructure, Industrialization, Human Capacity Development, Rural & Riverine Development and Agriculture. These agenda are in consonance with the blueprints of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the The manifesto of the Pdp. These agenda are capable of getting Nigeria working again. Already, the 'good old days of industrialization had begun in Akwa Ibom State. Atiku Abubakar’s visit to Akwa Ibom has some emotional trappings. The former Vice President strengthened the advocacy for Resource Control spearheaded by Obong Victor Attah, who was then the Governor of Akwa Ibom State. Little wonder Obong Attah named a major road in honor of the great democrat. Similarly, Peter Obi, Alhaji Abubakar’s running mate has a robust affinity with Akwa Ibom through marriage. Obi’s marriage to to Margaret Brownson Usen, a native of Onna in Akwa Ibom, underpins Obi as a detribalized Nigerian who would support Alhaji Abubakar’s ‘Restructuring’ agenda. Nigerians have every cause to listen to the voice of reason by looking beyond party affiliations- voting for a competent hands such as of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar - to pilot the onerous task of nation rebuilding and Udom Emmanuel to sustain superior performance in Akwa Ibom State. With Atiku as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Udom as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and Akwa Ibom will experience unprecedented prosperity, growth and development. As the former Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential Flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party visits Akwa Ibom to flag-off his campaign rally in Uyo , it an opportunity for the good people of Akwa Ibom to join the PDP and Get Nigeria Working Again!

The youngest aspirant in the forthcoming general elections Barr Otobong Bob, whose father was a senator for 8 years, contested and won PDP House of Assembly ticket in Akwa Ibom. With the growing trend of insults among youths and elders, he was quoted saying words of advise to his people and Nigerians. WORDS ON THE MARBLE "I want people to understand that; Leadership that is borne out of a genuine love for your people, to give them a collective and effective representation at every level, that will translate into a community that works for everyone. Therefore we should rise up together and take the bull by the horns. I have decided that the next stage of my legacy is to become one of the faces in this revolution that will place Nigeria, moving forward, in the hands of the younger generation; people who want a Nigeria that is self-sufficient, a Nigeria that works. I want to be the inspiration to young people like me, who has what it takes to lead and are ready to apply their heart and minds towards the development of their communities. I also want to be the hope of the millions of Nigerian youths who will come out to participate in the electoral process, with the assurance that their voices count. I want to be a face that counts in the New Nigeria. Therefore let us rise with one voice and one mind to support this dream, let’s make this ambition a reality, every sentiment and propaganda should be put aside, for me to be the son of a senator doesn’t mean I have no right to contest and win any elective position, my aspiration and adoption by my people is not an imposition but the choice of the majority. My fellow youths should refused to be tempted to insulting the elders, taking laws into their hands and selling their conscience for a peanut, I have plans for Nsit Ubium people and I pray that the trust my people have for me will never be in vain". Barr. Otobong Bob _PDP Candidate, Nsit Ubium State Constituency, Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly

The downfall of APC begins in Akwa Ibom State, as a Federal House of Representatives flag bearer for Ikono/Ini federal constituency, Edidiong Idiong, has tactically withdrawn from the race to represent his people in the green chambers. The reason for his decision is not far from the Abuja federal high court seizure of his international passport and other valuable credentials including subsequent pending cases with the EFCC. He is standing trial for 11 count charges relating to fraudulent transactions linking to money laundering and other crime related offences amounting to two (2) billion naira (N2,000,000,000). It's worthy of note that the son of the former Chief Judge of Akwa Ibom State, Justice Effiong Udo Idiong, was re-arraigned before an Abuja Federal High Court over alleged diversion of weapons purchase funds and linked with Col Dasuki who is currently cooling in prison custody over last 3yrs. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) alleged that the APC candidate had received the sum of N2 billion from contracts allegedly awarded by the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki in different tranches. According to records, Mr Edidiong Idiong was initially arraigned in November, 2016 along with former aide to Dasuki, Col. Nicholas Arinze and Austrian, Wolfgang Reinl, General Manager of Geonel Integrated Services Ltd, and four other companies. The case which was adjourned by Justice Babatunde Quadri of the Federal High Court, Abuja, will be heard February 20, 2019. Another reason for his sudden withdrawal may be his law degree forgery saga which generated so much tension after he failed to fill it in the INEC form. The shame and embarrassment he has subjected the APC and his family to is one of the reason he abstains from the party's activities which has also affected his not attending his own campaigns.
