That's the sad world we live in.

They've fooled him to see himself as a public speaker when in reality, he is just a freak of nature unknowingly extorted to rake in funds for those who convene those programmes he gets invited to talk in.

I admire his determination to excel in life and I applaud that against the odds, he graduated as an accountant and has broken the records by being the first accountant to be unable to count with his own fingers.

I hope his life inspires someone out there who feels worthless. Just go out there and do something with yourself. You are not over because if this man could attain all of this with his life literally faced upside-down, then there's no reason for any able-bodied individual not to.

Let's all draw inspiration from him and I pray he is able to motivate people to greatness because I am not even moved by his pathetic existence.

My own anger is that the DSS disrespected the Judiciary by trying to arrest him in a court of law before a sitting Judge.

The police have re-arrested a kidnap kingpin, Hamisu Wadume, two weeks after he escaped from the custody of the Intelligence Response Team after they came under attack from soldiers attached to Battalion 93, Takum.

Three policemen and two civilians were killed during the incident while five other police officers were injured.

The force spokesman, Frank Mba, in a statement confirmed that Wadume was re-arrested in the late hours of Monday at his hideout at Layin Mai Allo Hotoro area of Kano State.


The arrest followed massive manhunt launched by the police special forces and IRT members.

The statement read, “The operatives of the Nigeria Police have re-arrested the notorious kidnap kingpin, Alhaji Hamisu Bala Wadume.

“He was re-arrested in the late hours of August 19 in his hideout at Layin Mai Allo Hotoro area of Kano State.

“It would be recalled that the Police had been on the massive manhunt for the suspect, Alhaji Hamisu Bala Wadume since August 6, following the unfortunate incident in Ibi, Taraba State which resulted in the brutal murder of three Police Officers and two civilians, and injury to five others.


“The suspect, who was appropriately restrained at the time of the incident, was subsequently released by his “rescuers” after they had destroyed the restraining handcuffs.”

The police noted that Wadume’s arrest,” will no doubt, help in bringing answers to the numerous but hitherto unanswered questions touching on the incident and the larger criminal enterprise of the suspect.”
