I want to update you on the latest developments in our efforts against Coronavirus in Anambra State.
First, I have to thank you all for complying with the directive on the Covid-19 pandemic in Anambra State. I must thank the traders in all the 63 major markets in Anambra State for heeding the directive on the closure of our markets. I also thank the traditional rulers, leaders of the church, the PGs and other community leaders who have assisted the government in ensuring that people comply with the directives from the state. However, as it has turned out, the fight has just started!

Anambra’s 1st Covid-19 Case:
Ndi Anambra, I regret to announce that despite our proactive measures to insulate our dear state from this pandemic, we recorded the first case of Coronavirus in the state yesterday. The index case came in from Lagos. He has been placed in one of our Protective Care Centers. At the same time, we have commenced aggressive Contact Tracing to ensure that everyone he came in contact with is brought into the net for a professional handling that will save lives.
Ndi Anambra, I urge you not to panic over this. It did not take us by surprise. We are adequately prepared to handle the situation. We have trained enough manpower on how to handle Covid-19 cases and our Protective Care Centers are among the best in the country at the moment. On the strength of this, I urge you to stand strong in prayer and faith. We shall flatten the curve on this case to prevent further spread of the virus.

Measures to Prevent Further Spread:
Ndi Anambra, following the recording of the first case of Coronavirus in Anambra State, it has become extremely necessary to tighten the measures we had taken earlier on the pandemic. To achieve that, we shall take the following steps –
1. The restriction on movement is hereby extended by two weeks. This time, we are placing a comprehensive Lock down on Anambra State. We shall not tolerate any movement across the state by individuals and groups. Only people on essential services are permitted to move around in the delivery of those services to the people. Ndi Anambra are advised to stay indoors to avoid getting contaminated by this virus. The security agencies will enforce the restriction on movement this time and they have my authorization to make arrests where necessary to keep our dear state safe.
2. All boundaries with neighbouring states remain closed. There will be no vehicular or human traffic across all the boundaries of Anambra State. Only vehicles delivering essential services are permitted after a comprehensive check and authorization by security operatives at the boundaries.
4. Frequent washing of hands with soap for at least 20 seconds as well as the regular use of hand sanitizers are strongly recommended. In fact, everyone is expected to carry a hand sanitizer with him or her at any given time.
5. Everyone is expected to stay indoors with their families and loved ones. However, anyone who wishes to step outdoors for any reason at all must wear a face mask. Anyone who violates this directive stands a chance of arrest and prosecution.
6. Handshaking, hugging and all other forms of physical contact are strongly discouraged. Ndi Anambra are also advised to minimize contact with door handles and hand rails and commonly used surfaces in different locations.
7. A distance of 6-feet must be maintained during interaction with people. Everyone is advised to keep a reasonable social distance when holding a conversation with someone else.
8. Ndi Anambra are advised to contact the Anambra State Public Health Emergency Operation Center immediately (PHEOC) once they feel unwell. The PHEOC numbers are ‪08030953771‬, ‪08145434416‬, ‪08117567363‬, ‪08058967320‬.

Update on Preventive Care Centers:
Our 250-bed Preventive Care Center at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Mbaukwu/Umuawulu and the 16-bed Preventive Care Centre at the General Hospital Onitsha are all up and running at the moment. The two Surge Centers at Ekwulobia General Hospital and Umueri General Hospital that Fidelity Bank and Access Bank offered to equip are almost ready too. So, we are prepared to give ourselves a fighting chance against this pandemic.

Ndi Anambra, it gives me great joy to see that this pandemic has brought out our well known communal spirit. I am impressed with the way our socially responsible brothers and sisters have responded to the economic hardship imposed by Coronavirus on us all by handing out relief materials and money to their neighbours. At about 3.20pm today, as I was driving back from Ikwo LGA to Abakaliki in Ebonyi state, immediately after Royal Salt, a mining company owned by the Chinese, a black Hilux Van with registration number EPE132FV carrying three Chinese occupants with a black driver drove past me. About five minutes later, I saw the Hilux parked by the roadside and a Chinese man rushed down from it and was vomiting uncontrollably. Though I am not a medical expert but my mind told me that it could possibly be a covid-19 patient because vomiting is among the symptoms.
To forestall any possible outbreak,I went as far as reporting it immediately to the highway police patrol team along that route in other to stop them and hand them over to medical experts that will confirm their status but the police allowed them to pass.
I am so much worried that it could be a coronavirus patient.

Paul’s admonishment to Timothy on how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of levites of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, If there were no men with more than a wife in the Church, Paul Won't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39.

Effects of POLYGAMY:
POLYGAMY has it merits and demerits in the society and Christiandom at large.
1). In the Society, the Maternal Mortality rate is high in the female folks compared to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men death rate is higher than that of women. The number of widows keep increasing geometrically adding up to the number of single women in the society.
This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, and formication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic nowadays to see our single girls fighting with widows for the ownerships of a guy.

2). Religiously, the so-called MONOGAMY has caused more harm than good in Christian-dom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imaging if they were practicing Family planning and Monogamy.

IBB introduced family planning to Nigeria with a maximum of 3 children to a couple and, was widely embraced mostly by Christians, that is 3 children to a couple but, Muslim being naturally a polygamy has an average 2 to 5 wives to a man, meaning 20 children to a family. This have invariably led to increase in population of Muslims far above their Christian counterparts in Nigeria (60% / 40%).
Looking critically, Nigeria is trailing the path of Turkey and North Sudan.....

Turkey(the biblical Antioch) was a Christian nation overtaken by Muslims because of falsehood of Christian priests.
b.) Very soon Our children, particularly daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves because monogamy denied them an opportunity to marry.
C.) There are millions of stranded women in the South and, may not likely get a husband forever because of the arguments against polygamy; whereas hardly can a women be stranded in the North; thanks to polygamy there.

Before the emergence of Engr Dave Umahi as the governor of Ebonyi state, it was the specialist hospital Irrua in Edo state that used to house the LASSA FEVER PATIENTS from Ebonyi state and other south eastern states. Mortality rate then was so high.
Thanks to the wonder working governor of Ebonyi state for taking the bull by the horn by building the ultra modern virology centre in federal teaching hospital Abakaliki.
Doctors without borders are currently managing the LASSA FEVER patients at the virology centre in Abakaliki.
LASSA FEVER is no longer dreaded in Ebonyi state.

Instead of the CJN to resign honourably and go clear himself, he was busy running from pillar to post buying injunctions to stop the case against him. Just a couple of days ago, another $630,000 and $800,000 was discovered in his separate domiciliary accounts again. Y'all pretended you didn't see the news, abi? Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.

Since there's this ample of evidence to nail him with, why the haste to remove him unconstitutionally. Court of appeal's judgement on this matter was ignored, why? Why did the executive decided to take laws into their hands without taking those evidences to either the NJC or national assembly as stated in the constitution? I will never support evil, whoever that is found guilty of corruption constitutionally, should face the music but the fight must be fair and must cut across every corrupt Nigerian and not perceived oppositions. Babachir lawal, Ganduje and even the CCT chairman have corruption cases against them but never got same treatment as the CJN. For crying out loud, the CJN has made himself available and the legal processes have started, why the haste to muscle him out of office against the dictates of our constitution? We should always avoid that mistake of believing everything we read in the social media, the allegations against the CJN might end up being cooked in such a way to push him out. After all, so many things were said against the president and he had the opportunity of clearing himself through the Court. Let's always be fair and abide by the constitutional dictates cos it might be anybody tomorrow
